Irani Cafe

We first tried their tea and cold-coffee - turned out to be pathetic, with zero depth of taste. This was followed by the driest and most uninspiring chilly-cheese-toast I have ever seen. They literally shoved some grated cheese hastily topped with chilly-flakes between two pre-toasted slices of mediocre bread - did not even bother warming the cheese.

Have no idea why people rate them so high.

Irani chai, omelette, bun maska, broon maska, all check! Calling it a typical Irani Cafe would be an understatement. It's a complete tru Irani experience (unlike some that also serve dosa's). Bun maska is soft and with generous layer of butter. Broon has that right crust and taste of yeast. I have tried the mutton kheema and bhurji both are top quality. I did find the kheema a tad cold and in this cold weather would have preferred it piping hot. The chai was nice and hot and was that perfect thick irani style. Highly recommended to start the day with!

On weekdays this is one of the best place to enjoy your food but on weekends you will be lucky to find a table without waiting.
The wait is really worth it.
This is a pretty famous Cafe franchise, so don't need to write separately about its food. (it is really good).

A new irani cafe opened on prabhat road.
Nice place for bun maska and irani chai.
Ambience is pretty good.
We had khima and akuri with bun and a cold coffee. Taste was nice.

Ambiance at it's peak. + Food quality, quantity n rate wise is really awesome + friendly n polite staff, must visit place cause it really going tough competition to other cafes around city which are famous for bunmaska
