Services are very poor staff behaviour not up to mark, docters approach not good

KIMS Kingsway Hospital, Nagpur,
My grandfather (now late) Shri Arun Bhayyaji Bhisey was admitted for treatment in a conscious condition to KIMS on 26/12/23. On 30/12/23 he was advised of a biopsy of which the reports were normal, even the CT scan, MRI reports were normal.
On 31/12/23 he was shifted to ICU where he became unconscious. I was stressed & shocked as to how all this was happening?
Several times I had asked Dr Rashmi Agrawal, MICU in-charge as to how & why his health is deteriorating when all his reports are normal? But no logical explanation was given in fact she appeared clueless about the situation. In my desperation I approached several seniors of the hospital including Mohan Joshi (admin), Onkar (billing) but drew a blank. Finally when I could approach Dr Ketan Chaturvedi (NeuroSurgeon) with a lot of hope, his attitude was so arrogant & inhuman that I was just brushed aside saying " I have just come & not in-charge of your father" while on his say only all the above tests were done.
After 15/16 days the hospital authorities could not do the right diagnosis & failed miserably. So
on 11/1/24 around 5.30 pm I felt my father needs to take a second opinion since no progress in his health nor any logical reason being given to us by the concerned authority. His eyes started to dilate while the discharge procedure was being done. Petty surgical accessories viz.sanitiser, hand gloves which in the local market are available for Rs 250/300 were charged @ Rs 800 & a bill of Rs 38900 was generated & paid.
The management knew the critical condition of the patient & without any human sentiments, it was obvious they were in a tearing hurry to get rid of my father.
During this last fortnight's stay in KIMS I came across two patients Mrs Kukreja who was shifted to Platina & is stable but unfortunately Mr Kripaljit Singh passed away at KIMS.
I firmly believe that in this ethical profession one feels is in safe hands but it's the other way around.
All at KIMS are totally commercial with no care in the world for the patients or their anxious relatives. They all are heartless & have no sentiments at all.
Soon after while taking my beloved daddy for a second opinion he took his last breathe at 8.30 pm on 11th of January.

I wont recommend this hospital to anyone as these guys are here for their business and to achieve their targets and not for the patients!

Excellent Doctor Dr Ashish Kamble. But faced issue with insurance people on 6th floor. They are not fully loaded with knowledge. It was wastage of time having discussion with them

Worstest Hospital Ever. If possible, I won't give even one star to this hospital. Nonsense staff, not all but few.specially receptionist of 4th floor. I would call her make up box who is sitting there for PDA and not for help of patient. And Dr. Paunikar pediatrics department is also the most nonsense one. Even I was having emergency EEGof my 4 month baby they were
playing with us like a dummy and was asking to go here n there. Not provide any treatment
and that chubby make up box receptionist was doing misbehave for money inspite we are having WCL referral form with us. We paid money for
nothing and done EEG of my baby to Wankhede hospital at Ramdaspeth by doing payment at evening after wasting around 5-6 hours at this most worstest Hospital ever.

Patient Discharge system is worst.

Worst hospital I have ever seen just the way to earning.irrisponsible doctor.mere pappa ko 5 dday admit rakha 50 thousand ka bill nikala koi treatment nhi Diya doc to chutti pr hi tha bus hotel l bana rakha hai raho khao or bharpur paise do inko

My wife got admitted for labour and the services provided by the staffs were too good. The third floor Labour ward i.e cuddles was the best service, the consultant Dr. Payal Agarwal and Dr. Swapnil Bisikar for my baby both were too good and brillient sevices.
All the staffs of the hospital includes all the RMO of labour and pediatrics and all the doctors were visiting very frequently when ever it was needed. The nurses Ms. Midhila, Ms. Ritu, Ms. Twinkle, Ms. Pushpa, Ms. Sheela and Ms. Payal from nursing departments were excellent in providing the care for women and child care, I recommend this hospital for MaternalAnd child health care.

It's very well mannered staff good coordination with patients.taken good care towards patients. Overall experience is satisfactory.

Cleaning staff, doctor all good but very bad experience with insurance dept staff. I am waiting for approvel for last 9 hrs but approval not done Bcz of this staff.vry late reply or incomplete reply.

Very well equipped. Clean n hygienic surroundings. Highly qualified and amiable and efficient staff. Very spacious and AC which is much needed in Our Nagpur Climate. Only shortage of parking space. Shall surely recommend Kinsway Hospital. The much needed modern hospital of today. Kudos to the staff.

Pathetic hospital. Poor administration and coordination. Only building and infrastructure is new but service is very poor which is evident by spending an hour in any corridor or on floor of hospital.

25Aug 21. Sitting in the waiting area of ICU on 7th floor and witnessed this incident.

Can see relatives of patients crying, shouting, fighting because they are not getting the bodies of their deceased patients on time. Hospital convinced the family members of deceased patient to donate organs. The family agreed to it and got cheated. Yesterday almost entire hospital staff on floor gathered along the corridor when the family agreed to donate organs of patient and he was being taken to OT. Today when the work is over, family is shouting in corridor but no one is helping them. Paper work of hospital is not yet done after 16 hrs and hospital is not releasing the body of patient.

Such a shameful act by hospital authorities. Paper work which could have been completed yesterday is not yet done. Family is being tortured by hospital to receive the body even when they willing helped by donating organs of their deceased father.

Another incident was witnessed yesterday 24 Aug 21 on the floor when the body of deceased patient which was to be handed over to family was delayed by more than 8 hrs and family members were fighting as planned funeral activities were getting delayed.
Promised timelines are never met here and extremely poor administration.

Not sure where these reviews are coming from no proper communication. Rude staff when asked for reports they informed to call on global number which was already done but there guys are not even aware what common communication line is between patients and hospital.

Pathetic service in emergency ward not a single doctor to atten the patient after wait of more then an hour.this doesn't look like a emergency ward.it's give feel of any government hospital.

Good but sometimes expensive.feels like hidden charges.not clearly tell at admision time.they should give A written copy with define all charges Dr not visit but they take visit charges.but good staff, good cleaning.

Had Wonderful experience with Kingsway Hospital. All the doctors are very kind and explain the procedure in detail. They have all highly skilled surgeons, and the staff was always helpful and kind. I admitted my father at the hospital cause of dengue. I contacted the hospital to know the test results every time a sample is taken which is hardly twice they was no update even after calling he hospital and asking for reports to know if the condition is getting better or atleast stable.

Why do you cant provide update of the test sample to know family members even after requesting on call?

A hospital with amazing team of doctors and medical professionals. Hospital is having every amenity required for patients, no need to go elsewhere.

Admin issues:
1. Extremely slow billing service. It took around three hours for us to get out of the hospital after discharge, because they could not expedite billing.

2. Did not get the parking space for consecutive three days. You will have to go till KP ground to park your vehicle, and then walk to the hospital.
You may enjoy your walk in the scorching sun!

Hi Good Afternoon.
Overall Services of this hospital are very good and genuine But yesterday I got disappointed with their video consultation for Covid-19 OPD.
I suggested this to My Uncle who got recently infected from his mother. I was very worried to send him to General Covid Outdoor OPD because of heavy viral Load. My Uncle is having seviour problem of myasthenia gravis.we are very worried about his proper line of treatment for Covid-19. But the doctor who was there in video consultation hardly spoke with him and also not eager to understand what the patient is exactly feeling or any drugs have been prescribed to him by someone else. Doctor asked him to come at hospital for CT Scan and some other tests.

We don't have any issues to come down at hospital for the test but patient should get educated about the concerns and seriousness of the tests from the doctor. If they were not worried to come out from home and visit to any other outdoor OPD then why we would have booked the video consultation? He and his wife is still at home only and finding the satisfactory answers for "Why They Need To Do Test". I trust doctor's extra 10-15 mins talk or his care would have changes the scenario.

Visited this hospital for my thyroid problem. After Paying 1000 rs, one expect dr. Will listen to us but in this hospital dr is so arrogant.in 1 minute he told me to go out of his cabin.i cant even share my problems. Pls don't go to this hospital

Excellent doctors and a very polite hospital staff. World class equipments are there in the hospital. Safety precautions are being taken in the hospital quite stringently. Even though I am covid negative, I felt absolutely safe in the hospital.

It's a best hospital in central india for treatment in all manor. Best doctors in the hospital with well experience. Best nursing staff to take care of your patient. My 5 years old child operate and admitted for 10 days in that time all the staff of hospital is very carrying and helpful. I suggest to all pls visit if you have any problem of your health. One more thing to i definitely add in the review Dr. Goel sir is very helpful and give the best suggestions for your problem.

Kengsway covid centre have taken 3-4 hours just to take sample from 9 month pregnant women, and when I complain doctor about, she called it misbehave. And marketing team said take Refund we can not tolerate such behaviour.

The management is very poor.i have never seen any hospital charging for parking.
Also my aunt has CT scan their and doctor told her it's not clear need to go for it again and they charged her again.earlier they said she has Tuberculosis then later said not sure not able to diagnose.
Don't expect such vague diagnosis from such a reputed hospital

DOCTORS are good but they don't have any planned visiting time or scheduled system to visit doctor chamber you have to stand infront of doctor chamber and nurses allow that person in doctor chamber instead he came after you

A very good hospital with all modern equipment and a good team of dedicated doctors and staff. Visited Dr. Rohan Bansal for my mother's foot problem and was well attended. Pharmacy takes a bit of time to deliver medicines. Could improve service time. Parking charges for vehicles bringing patients is a thing I didn't like.

You have to provide Free Parking because we are paying Doctor fees at the time so why you are taking Parking Fee.

Posting as a visitor. Superbly designed and constructed hospital with plenty of open spaces and seating. Very clean. Single and twin sharing patient rooms are equipped to a high standard. The critical care unit is modern and well equipped. Numerous specialties are offered.

This hospital was overdue in a city like Nagpur. It is still new and some aspects are not on stream yet. It gives hope for ethical, evidenced and quality medical and surgical care in the city. Best of luck and best wishes to them.

Worst experience. Hospital infrastructure does not mean good hospital. Doctors don't give any counseling. I was having thyroid problem so visited endocrinologist. At the same time I was having cough. For which they referred me to chest physician and again asked for consultation. Asked them why 2 consultation. They said for different specialities different consultation charges will be charged. I recommend all not to visit this hospital unless you have slots of money.
