Woww. The rooms, the view ambience and the best part was coordination done by Shayali. From pre checkin to checkin, Its never ever happened that I write a review before checkout. I felt the hotel provided good value for the price I paid.

We recently stayed at Le Meridien Mahabalrshwar. As always we had a fabulous stay. All their staff is so welcoming and despite heavy rains they would still reach our room in time for any requirement. The food and breakfast spread was just amazing. The restaurant team despite being very busy attended all guests in a very efficient manner.

This is just the place to be in case you have a big occasion in your family!

Thank you to everyone for making it special. All the staff were good, but special shout out to Chef Harmeet and F&B Supervisor Ms. Annu. Thank you for the lovely dinner @ Woods, Pan Asian Cuisine & Chingari, North Indian restaurant. Breakfast spread was good and do try out Kulcha Chole and Jalebi.
One afternoon we tried out Pizzas for lunch, which were pretty mediocre.
Kids had a blast at the play area and picnic which was organized within the property. Thank you once again! Hope to visit once again next year.

Resort is amazing and what makes us more memorable is the good natured staff.

Food is great.

Went to the restaurant for lunch. The waitress had a disgruntled ticket examiner vibe - quite stern and unhelpful. However another server helped us along so it was ok. Food was alright.

We booked for 3 days, seeing so many positive reviews. Giving 1 str bcz the services are very slow. Some points i would like to highlight:
1) Although check in was fast, the manager said he will explain property etc on the way to room. But he was not uttering a single word. We were only asking about property, things to do etc. He just said he will explain and WhatsApp, Which he did later. But didnt find him frendly.
2) internet was not working and we complaint immediately, after sometime he said he will said dongal in room. So we waited like 2 hrs then followed up again. Later be said donhals are also not working. Ehat was that, this what u expect from 5 star property. You should be the one informing about internet issues. And that night we got bored and slept as we have kid who leaves us only if youtube is on.

3) you will feel the property is big, and it would be fun for 3 days, but in one day only we felt nothing is there. The kids room is big but not maintained. Basic crayons we asked which they give us after 20 mins of search. The lady there was doing formality and not trying to engage kid. We only had to look for her. The pot painting and pottery was also rs 500 charge but was not worth it. The property doesnt even have aquarium for kids. They have ducks but no person to help kids to play with them. Also, there was wedding so they didnt brought ducks to groud for kids. Pathetic for poor animals also.

4) there are no activity and pool is also closed. Only villas alll around. And for example you would ask buggy to drop at garden. Then later the phones in property are not working. We had asked multiple person to call buggy but none came. So we walked with kid holding. And this was always the case.
5) we went for sight seeing for around 5 hours and returned at 4 pm. N room was not cleaned. When asked why and also asked the manager to come along. Be just said sorry n left.
6) the property doesnt have wooden floor or carpet on floor like other 5 star properties. (Leela or taj atleast). Just plain white tiles, due to which we felt very cold. The kids play sit etc in cold weather which is not good.
So one incident happened that after mob we waited for 10 mins and then left kid on floor to walk, but she got slip due to wet floor. We called immediately for dry mob, but the housekeeping xame after 2 hours.
Still we said we are not happy with the setup, so mgr said i will arrange mat for you.and we were happy.
Later house keeping came with towels and started putting on floor. We said this wont work as it will get struck in feets. Later no followup from manager or anyone else snout us or kids
7) the in room dining is so expensive, like 1200 + taxes for chicken chilli etc and with that also we get ordinary taste oike you go to a normal resturant. The fish and chinese items were super oily and spicy as well.
8) it was our anniversary and the manager didnt even cared to ask if we are here for spcl. Occasion. Anyways we informed the chef during breakfast and she made booking at woods.
So we went to woods order drinks& food, but kid was not comfortable there. So we asked thr to pack our drinks and baby salad to send to room. It took 2 hrs to reach the drinks at our room after following up continuiously. Spoiled our anniversary completely as baby was asking for salad cont.ly.
9) i think i have left my daughter's fav toy at the woods and have came back to home. So just to check if we have left thr, i have whatsapp the manaver to chk and confirm but he hasnt replied yet.
10) we wanted to sit in balcony of our tannquliry suit, so i kept some cake n snacks outside so that my daughter would come n eat outside.but before her, there was monkey family. We called reception, they also came after 1 hour. Tull then the monkey were enjoying food ad later took mayonese bowl with them. Lol. In short, later we never went balcony to sit, so paying this amout is also useless.
Overall, it was jst ordinary room with huge dependency on bugy.

Amazing amazing service and super courteous staff! Went there for my parent's anniversary dinner, and they surprised us with a cake to celebrate it! The food too was outstanding! Do try the honey chilli potato and red wine sangria at Longitude 73, and the dal makhani at Chingari! The dal was super decadent, so hats off to the chef for that! Also thank you to Navina, who helped me with all my queries! Must visit!

No good services available for tourists driver. There is no proper place for sleep. The toilet and bathroom are not clean. The bathroom is in open place. We

This place is absolutely wonderful! Naturally beautiful, caring staff, great food. This is everything I had wished for. The staff takes care of all that you ask for and senses (and takes care of) things that you want/ need but have not asked for. If you are thinking about visiting, just do it! They have separate chefs for South Indian food, North Indian food, Indian deserts, continental and so on. Special call out for Chinmoy, Sushmita and Megha. All of you and your colleagues are simply very very nice people.

The location of Le Meridien is absolutely fantastic. It’s a clean, quiet property surrounded by trees. Great customer service. Food was outstanding! Chef Harmeet Singh’s culinary skills and personal service are superlative. Will definitely visit again.

Detailed Review regarding each Service:

Rooms:

Best-in-class Luxurious rooms with Balcony.
Washroom with Bathtub and a magnified mirror near the basin, also not to forget that another part within washroom is for normal Bath, It's not having cover.
Complimentary Buggy pick and drop services when you need directly from your Room to your destination within Le Méridien.
Balcony is accessible within the room itself. AC won't turn ON when balcony doors aren't closed properly
Also, it do have a Fridge which includes Kingfisher Beer, Mineral Soda, Sula Wine Chenen Blanc. Espresso machine is available but unfortunately Coffee beans are not.

Breakfast (No Lunch/Dinner) :

Le Méridien only offers complimentary Breakfast and Lunch and Dinner isn't included. You need to find a few restaurant within Le Méridien to satisfy your evening hunger.
Breakfast served here is awesome. You'll find yourself with a variety of lip-smacking Desserts, Indian and Muesli️

Restaurants (Lunch/Dinner) :
As mentioned above, There are few restaurants within le Méridien which are Paid. I have experienced Chingari (Indian) and Woods (Chinese) Restaurants
Chingari: This is an Indian restaurant, all kind of Indian food is available.
Woods: This is an Chinese Restaurant, to be honest, I hate this Restaurant, while having breakfast the Chef said Woods is best for Chinese. But he didn't told that it was in an Open air, probably 14°C at night and felt chills with no shelter. I would prefer Chingari.

Buggy:
Buggies are backbone in Le Méridien, the drivers are very polite. Their job is to send you from your room to destination and vice versa.
This is the best Service in Le Méridien.

Recreation and Family:
Now this is where you spend some time playing 8 ball pool, Tennis and Air hockey, even Kids have a variety to choose from which activity they love. It is completely complimentary.

Now here's the thing I hate the most and got bleed within the Room:
In room there's one small work area where one can work. When we sit on the chair and slide/move ourself close towards the work table. There's a sharp edge below that Table and by moving myself closer to the table, the sharp edge cut my thumb so deep that I started to bleed? And Tbh one can easily get cut on his/her Thigh. So be careful.

Le Méridien should look at such sharp edges and make it plain and swift to avoid such cuts.

The staff at latest recipe and Woods is very good.

Good service and good food at the multicusine restaurant. Chinmoy especually was very good.taken good care of us.

At the same time very hard to connect with the hotel reception on call.tried 12 times through the day, but they did not respond. So we could not ask if they can arrange for a birthday cake.so had to get one from outside.reception needs to be responsive.

We had a very wonderful experience. The Staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Special kudos to Vishwanathan he took really good care of us whenever we were in the restaurant.

Only had food there not much tasty which we had during meeting. Snacks disappeared when Bar opened after meeting.

If I had option of giving more than 5 I definately would. Room and cleanliness is usually there with most of the 5 star hotels. However the best part was the staff and the hospitality. They are extremely polite and cordial to you and would try their best to fulfill your needs during your stay. I would say they are doing things way beyond a job.

One of the best properties I have ever visited. The breakfast was amazing, it had various types of cuisine. Also the avocado truffle oil sushi made by Chef Jehova Lukim was just amazing, In my opinion I never had that type of sushi in Mumbai. The Chef and the waitress were very sweet and humble to us. Good property, good service staff, slightly on higher price range infant very much higher compare to value for money.

All the staff are very helpful and courteous.
I want to specifically take 2 names Anu and Chinmoy from the restaurant for taking care of us. And guitarist (forgot his name) for providing blissful music.

We dined in the restaurant and it was a good experience. Place is clean and service is good. Wish I would have stayed here too.

One of the best property's been in times of covid. You actually feel like staying in nature surrounded by forest. Best time of the day was with my cup of morning coffee and feeling the wind and enjoying the birds. Neat and clean. The staff is super courteous and they out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The chefs even made out of the menu items to suit our palate. 3 cheers to them. The buggy service was prompts hence commuting was easy.the view from the infinity pool is to die for. Theres also activity centre to enjoy family time. Would love to visit again in winters. During our visit it was pouring heavily which made us stay a little indoors but there's always a next time.

Le Meridien was an amazing getaway from the busy city life into the lap of nature. The hotel staff was very welcoming and co-operative. In-room service was not up to the mark Cooking oil was also not appropriate. Out of 9 members, 7 had indigestion prblm after consuming food at the resort.

Most welcoming staff. Thank you to chef sunil & vikram who helped me get in touch with the reservations. Chef yogendra was kind enuf to make us customised eggs kejriwal for breakfast he also arranged a special dinner table for us. We booked tranquility suite. Sonal was our private butler, polite and very helpful. She also offered us an upgrade. Stay was so pleasant. The property was over booked still their service was upto the mark.

We came to Le Meridien for drinking & dining. Both Longitude 73 & Chingari were great.

The resort overall impressed us. Right from its quiet location to its ample parking, its lush green compound, the grand staircase, beautiful architecture, dim lighting, everything.

If I have to frame my experience and personal opinion to this place I could possibly rate it more than five star.

I ended up visiting on my anniversary for dinner with my family. In fact my 25th to be precise.

As a momento that day in the morning I ended up twisting my ankle anyway to cut it short (You will understand why mentioned it shortly). We ended up landing at Le Meridien.

The dinner was amazing we had ordered for some drinks and since the snacks were taking time the waiter came in his own and brought some snacks from the buffet. Free of cost (That did not matter but what he won is our hearts - being thoughtful)

It did not end here the real story begins now by the time we were over my feet started paining to that level that I could not stand up. They scrambled for a wheel chair but one had been occupied at that moment only. It took them literally 3-4 mins to arrange another one and during that period we had the manager apologizing for the delay. Which I felt uncalled for, but I felt pampered.

Finally, the chair comes and the waiter personally takes me down and waits till the car leaves. What a sweet feeling. I should have noted the name of the waiter he was such a sweet young boy.

A lovely memory that I will never forget hats off to the services and experience of Le Meridien.

By the way I Loved the food, ambiance and hospitality.of Le Meridien.

Excellent resort. We got stuck in the worst phase of monsoon in 50 years in mahableshwar. The hotel did there best to make sure we are comfortable. The food was excellent all meals, any cuisine.

7 acres built up in 27 acres of forest land goes to show how much respect there is for nature at the Le Meridien in Mahabaleshwar. This, I believe, is crucial. After all, the reason people visit hill stations like Mahabaleshwar is for the serenity and closeness to nature and there is plenty of that here. The property is designed so well that even though there were loads of bookings when we stayed there, we barely ran into people and there was peace and quiet all around. It's highly appreciated.

Mr. Bipul was in touch with us the entire week we were supposed to check in and was of great help in every way. Sonal at the check-in desk was very helpful as well and made check-in as breezy as possible.

The rooms are exceptionally well-designed in terms of both form and function. It looks great but just as importantly, it's designed in a way so as to provide excellent sleep. The rooms also look just as they do on the hotel website. Since the Villas are quite spaced out, buggies are available but we had a wonderful time just walking everywhere. There are maps almost everywhere so it's quite easy to walk around.

Most people might not visit the gym on their vacation but for those who do, the gym is extremely well furnished and has a very knowledgeable trainer present for a good part of the day. The spa and the pool were shut due to covid but the view from the indoor pool is stunning. I can't wait to visit again when everything is operational. Speaking of the view, that's perhaps the one downside of the property– there's not much in the way of a view but we did enjoy our balcony opening up into a forest. I'm sure different rooms offer different joys so your experience with views may vary.

What we missed in the spa and the pool was more than made up by Madhura from the recreation centre. She accompanied us on the Stream walk and was such great company and was so knowledgeable about the area, the animals, plants, mushrooms and really everything we could think of.

I've already written wonderful things about Chingari and Longitude 73 in restaurant reviews and they truly are great restaurants. Jehova's dishes in Longitude 73 are true stand-outs. Sushmita at Latest Recipe was a wonderful hostess everyday for breakfast.

Our stay at Le Meridien exceeded our already high expectations. The property is excellent, the rooms are excellent, the food is delicious and above all, the staff at the Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar are exceptional at what they do. A stay at the Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar is an easy recommendation and I can't wait to visit again.

Ultimate location, nice views from the rooms, rooms are highly decorated, service is the key of Meridiens.in morning you should feel you are sleeping in the birds nest.food quality and service in restaurant in amazing.you should visit here in the summer time to really enjoy the climate, Venna lake boating and many other thins here but if you visit in rainy season and you cant step out the door you will really got the vacation.

Food is average. Staff is average. U feel like staying in a jungle. Pricing is not worth the taste of the food. Service is very slow. Would not ever stay here.

We didn’t stay at the property but enjoyed the culinary delights of the pan-Asian restaurant. A special shout out to Kasim Jatty for outstanding food and service to match. Look forward to returning there.

Amazing hotel in the middle of the woods.
Special mention to the restaurant- The Woods, absolutely beautiful location (open air- a forest dining experience). The food was absolutely delicious especially- Khao Suey soup, all the sushis, burnt garlic dimsums, veg bao (chefs special) and the blueberry tart (the chef's special). The staff was very friendly and helpful and the chef came and greeted us personally to make sure the food was upto the mark.

Excellent property, excellent staff, beyond expectation food, just WiFi was very troublesome, had to complain a lot, as some rooms the network is an issue, otherwise lovely stay in all ways, very well controlled wuhan (COVID) virus measures. Recommend it as very nice food ambiance and staff was very nice too, cleanliness well maintained, perfectly natural surroundings

The resort is built in a hilly forest of 20+ acres with great attention given to the non destruction of the trees in its construction. The villas and rooms are located all over with flora and fauna on either side of pathways. A buggy on call service takes people from place to place. The buffet breakfast had a vast choice, from eggs to order, South Indian hot food to Punjabi chole kulcha and fresh Jalebi. The food in "In the Woods" is some of the best Pan Asian food I've eaten. Chef Kasim Jatty and Executive Chef Yogendra took great care of us. The staff are polite and eager to please. This hotel is not recommended for physically disabled as there is a lot of climbing and walking to be independent. Overall a great experience.

As a tourist I have visited Mahableshwar many times but this time I decided I am going to stick to one place and not tire myself roaming around like a lost tourist.
Le Meredian had been on my mind for a long time and finally we did land out there.
Set amidst 27 acres of forests in Western Ghats, the resort has a lot to offer.
Advice: while booking check out for deals and packages, they have a lot to offer.
Since the property is huge there are buggies (golf carts) available on the property. It's walkable too but not for senior citizens with leg problems etc.
We dined at Latest recipe for breakfast and lunch buffet.
Chingari and Woods for dinner.
Do dine at the Chingari as tge food is delicious.
Would not recommend small children at the woods restaurant as it is literally located in the woods and can get quite cold on a winter night.
Since it's a thick forest on the property do not expect any view from your room, premium cottages have a view.
A lot of activities on the property:
Selfie points to have some fun.
KIDS have the recreation center for games, coloring, forest trail.
Ladies: spa and salon and Latitude for a drink after a tired day at the spa
Men: Latitude 73, loved the display of books and drinks.
Infinity pool was shut due ti covid rule, was disappointed as the place offers the best view and the pool was shut. But you can sit on the rooftop and have a drink or a cup of coffee at Plunge Bar.
Staff are very friendly and polite
Only drawback is we booked the place while a wedding preparation was on, so too much was happening on the property, plus we could not get a buggie.
In the end the stay was memorable for me and my family.

Not sure where to start everything is just amazing. The property is huge but it’s extremely well maintained in the middle of Forest. The rooms are clean. We were in 1202 which is a highly recommended room for its unhindered view of the valley. The various cuisine is awesome. The chef personally made a specific Rajasthani Thali for us which had unimaginable tasty food. We asked for less oil and it was fully customised for us. They have a restaurant known as the woods and it has a amazing setting in the jungle. The sitting in the Machan adds to the moments. The cold is not a problem as they provide a very good warmer. The staff is very courteous. There was a minor blip but the important thing was that the staff responded in a very hospitable maner. A must go for everyone. I will surely come back. The shows for the kids a really engaging. There is a lot to do within the property itself. A big thank you from my family

One of the nicest resort/hotel experiences I've had. Spread across over a huge area, you'd probably take around 25-30 minutes to walk across the entire property (Thanks to the buggy rides, you could save some time)
Nice rooms, nice views, nice restaurants, amazing experience at the Woods restaurant, and a courteous and an amazing staff make it a great recommendation for all ages.
(A lot of fun activities for kids as well)

Welcome, check-in, stay, sanitisation, breakfast, jungle trail, play area, cleanliness, room cleaning, buggi was awesome experience. Wi-fi was bad, could not connect at all. Breakfast was delicious than Dinner. Staff was very polite. Mr. Chinmoy and his Manager's service at dining area was great.
I wrote email about the birthday celebration (with cake) for ny husband, but it was missed (thankfully.dinner by default had good pastries)
Lesson: Never pick anything from the mini bar, as the bill is not as per MRP shown on the pack.
Overall experience is awesome, clam, pleasant. Will come back for sure!
