Unique ambience. It is good to experience at least once. But loses its charm next time around. The food is good but not so great that you would wanna go there every time you're in the area.

Food quality was very so so.
We ordered garlic bread and it was not worth it.
Also all drinks was not chilled.
Hope so next time we will get a good service.

Food is good, leopolt has a historical significance and a person visiting Mumbai should definitely visit here. Shantaram readers would surely would enjoy a esoteric nostalgia trip.

Leopold Cafe is a very famous and I'll old cafe in Colaba, South Bombay. It's is located on the busiest and expensive area of Mumbai. It has a nice ambience.

Good food.
Fast service.
Expensive.
Parking not available.
Seating almost always full.

Seats are almost always full. It is difficult to get a seat soon, you might have to wait.

We tired the blueberry cheesecake and it was normal. The beverage and snacks are good. Kheema pav, Bun Maska, Egg preparations and desserts are tasty.

Visit this cafe only for the vibe and location and not mainly for the food.

A hot n happening place in the centre of the town for spending time with friends or family.food tastes yum and with the tinkle of glasses and laughter of people, one forgets all worries

It was a great place earlier. But now it's extremely cramped up, over priced, over rated. Food quality is also deteriorating.

It's of course a heritage place with an added value after the terror attack. But it's a bit too noisy & busy. Food is great, quite expensive demanding the heritage premium.

A nice place to hangout. Just a bit overrated in my opinion but the staff is pretty well trained and the time it takes for ur order to reach is pretty less which makes it a very good place to quick hangout places to come to mind.

Cool place, all loves it, a bit costlier which can be reduced, should not compromise on quality even though there is big rush most of the time, Leopold is on and my favourite:)

Best curries I've ever had in my life! I had the Jalfrezi chicken first day and couldn't believe how tasty it was and the next dish I had the following day was the Chicken Lahori which was phenomenal! The butter chicken my friends had were a perfect choice for a less spicy option. I need to visit again before I return home to a different take on Indian cuisine.

The place is extremely busy, or maybe because I went on a Saturday. The food is very good, little pricey but the quantity is quite enough. The ambience has a old world charm glass top tables and wooden chairs.

Staff is very rude. I ask to put air conditioning system on swing mode and the server said no.not taking care of customer comfort.moreover I ask them for draft beer out of 5 only 1 was on tap. After that I ask them to keep my phone on charger they say they dont do that here. I mean what Morden world this guys are living in!

It's a historic place, the ambience and food will speak volumes about mumbai and its heritage, the food and drinks are of great taste and texture. The quantity to price was what anyone can afford.

The menu was extensive and it is not just a Cafe but a complete restraunt.

Very happening place. Dont go for the ambience, go for the food. It's usually busy throughout the day. Food is reasonable and you get good portion. Their pizzas are worth trying.

Steak was too heavy I was alone it's decorated with french fries and onion salad.

I've been visiting Leo's for decades n had lunch there after ages. As usual it didn't disappoint.
Exceptional food, excellent service, huge portions. Worth revisiting

It was good, we ordered white pasta which was authentic pasta, some people might find it bland, there was good music and ambience and lots of foreigners, overall it was a good experience. Go on top if you'd like to experience goa vibes.

Well, We have just ordered some tea and coffee which were normal. One has to visit this place to take a look at the gun shot marks of 26/11 attacks.

The absolute worst experience I had in mumbai was Leopold cafe. Coke float I ordered looked and tasted like filth. Also, unfortunately ordered a hot dog sandwich. Never eaten such uncooked hot dog in my life. Went to see what's the hype about and never going there again

3 star because of the service charge of 10% you charged but gave us the worst service. Got a seat after 20 mins, you took order after 15 mins, servrd after 15 mins but bill was served wiyhin 2 mins of asking.

This famous cafe has it's own old-world charm and it's beautiful. You'll enjoy your time here even if you go alone. It offers good, fresh food and service.

We ordered the cafe's special pasta, recommended by one of the staffs only. I found it good.won't say it would take you to the heaven of deliciousness but yes, it tasted good like any other masala pasta. I found nothing special as the name of the dish says!
One thing I noticed was, around 80% people were ordering main course.
Overall, a nice cafe with nice location.

Can't spell Colaba Causeway without Leopold's! One of the best joints in the area. It's got a distinct vibe, and a harrowing past, that true Mumbaikars will never forget.

Good food, quantity is good and the vibe is awesome if you wanna sut in A/C better hurry
Bcoz the AC section is always full and sitting in non AC is also not too bad. Its a antique place Opened in 1871 and you can walk to the Gateway of India. The most popular dishes are: Chicken Tikka but you can also try Chicken Lasooni its just awesome. It comes with 9 pieces of boneless chicken with green chutney. With this if you have a chilled beer in your hand then wahh. So chilled beer is also a must try. And dont forget to check for the dessert and you wouldn't get sad bcoz here comes the popular dish Blueberry Cheesecake

Economic and the food is good but the facility provided for washing hands was poor. There are better cafes around.

The dishes at Leopold Cafe are really satisfying. Ordered the grilled fish which was finger lickin' good! The ambience is quite different and I personally liked it. The interior could be improved but I think it's the way Leopold works! Awesome place must visit.

The Cafe is built from an ancient time so it has its heritage.
The cafe is famous for irani dishes like berry pulav, Keema pav, bun maska, chucken dhansak etc.
It has lots of fusion items like fries, pizza, burgers, also the authentic mughlai cuisine is present.
The must try dish the pastries, they are out of the world.
The food over here is very expensive but is fine for once in a while.
So its great place to visit once in a while

Very over rated, over valued, bad French fries, no mayo of any kind. Their alt dip was pudina chutney.

Loved the food and the dessert the beer was a bit flat and the margarita was absolutely bad it was bitter and nothing else and when we told the bar tender he was like it is the alcohol that makes it bitter as if we were drinking for the 1st time! Giving 4 stars cause of the blue berry cheese cake, the fried wonton and the chicken shashlik

As i visited in afternoon. The service and the food was not at satisfactory level to the name of cafe. And again if someone visits alone with not stylish clothes on, dont judge a book by its cover.

When a place holds history, it has to be visited alteast once. Having said that, the place was good, but it very too crowded and I felt there is some problem with ventilation, because it was really hot where I was sitting. Had to change my seat twice.
It has that ancient feel. Liked it.

Place is really nice main problem is parking otherwise the cafe is awesome and youngsters best place to hangout. Food taste is good.

The Buttered Gravy-Thick ‘Bhuno’ Mutton Mince Is Paired With A Fluffy Bombay Pav, 6 Of Which (4 Extra) Were Just About Adequate To Slop Up The Divine Affair.

Beer Is Seldom A Feature In My Reviews, Except When They’re Craft-Tapped. This Deserves An Assassination For Being Ludicrously Overpriced. I Ended Up Paying ₹557 For A ₹180 Worth Glass, And This Was Indeed A Wet Blanket.

I am not sure how to write a review on Leopold, its a legend in its own way. Unfortunately most of the crowd nowadays are attracted to this gem of a place for its violent history.
As far history is considered, Leopold flaunts his own, unabashedly, all across its walls and on the plate.
I tried their signature steak with spanish sauce. My fellow diners tried grilled fish and chichen shishalik (sizzler).
Their grilled fish is one of the finest.

Nice cafe, food has good options & authentic taste. The price is high, but worth visiting atleast once if you're a visitor in Mumbai

Being the last day of the year not to many preparations the space could manage however the music n food was good n very costly

Terrible food, it's just a hype with tourists now. One can easily get much better food and atmosphere in what they end up paying here. Every muglia dish we ordered here were completely taste else. 2* only for their desserts which are really good.

The food here was nice and there was a great atmosphere, the pictures and decoration was very appealing too. I did however prefer eating in cafes where the locals eat to absorb the culture, they also tend to be a lot cheaper. A bit crowded. The patrons are mainly Europeans and foreigners. The food is just excellent. Waiting time is minimum, perhaps to clear the crowd and to accommodate the waiting people.

If in Colaba you have to visit this place, awesome food, ethnic ambience. Excellent service. Only issue is parking. Better is to by cab

Over hyped. It is historical for being part of the Mumbai attacks, but I don't think it's worth going to see the few bullet holes in the wall. For those prices you can go to the many air conditioned and nicer cafes. Our service was so slow. Took more than 45 minutes to get french fries and that's all we had ordered.

A famous place in downtown Mumbai with authentic kitchen. The food was good, though I find the drinks overpriced. Also the atmosphere is a bit of a mix that I couldn't place. We also had some trouble with the waiters understanding us which I found puzzling at times.

The USP of this place is it's great taste which remains the same everytime. And it's a place full of people will who are willing to talk, so you can join in some interesting conversation. They have got a wide menu. The place is just lovely.

Ordered a drink and a soup while waiting for a meeting nearby. The soup was good and the portion surprisingly larger than my expectations.

It is all I expect of a Cafe bar and more when it comes to ambience. It is costlier and there were a lot more foreigners than other nearby places.

Food was amazing " Music though a bit loud was making us Nostalgic remembering the old melodies.
The ambiance is as well know just down to earth & yet excellent.
The buffalo meat dish & the Paneer Tikka starter was amazing.
Though a bit pricier as compared to cafe Nonsense, it's a good weekend getaway. They accept reservations which is a plus point.

I am sorry to say but this place is filled with Racist and rude waiters and they behave like they are doing a favor serving you food. I was there with with my American friend for a lunch and we were sitting at our place unattended for an hour. I took him with a promise to have some good food and show him our food scene but we ended leaving the place and having lunch at Delhi Darbar. I am being used to this treatment before but I thought they love serving foreigners which also was not true. Very Disappointing for such a famous and institutional place.

Very small tables. Food not that great. Just the cafe is old and came into popularity a decade back, maybe that's why it is all the time crowded. I had duck, lamb and beef here. They were not upto the mark. Lamb had more bones than flesh. Boneless suck ordered had several small pieces of bones. Beef was somewhat good. The plates were quite big and we had to other staff on chairs - menu frame, water jug.

Good for passing time and gulping few beers. Mostly its crowded and we had to wait for our turn as no space was empty there.

Leopold cafe is most popular cafe in Mumbai located at churchgate. This place is always crowded with people and even attract foreign crowd of the city and youth as well will here. Sandwiches, roll, beverages, cakes and many more things are here which really tasty and delicious. The quality and quantity of food is really good. Food here taste amazing. This place often crowded with people all the time since it is located at market area and tourists attractions shop. The cafe quite a d interior design reminds us early 80's.

I've been wanting to come to this place for ages. My father used to tell me about this place for ages from his younger days. Good place to have a beer quite expensive as they have increased the price. Food portions are really big so don't fear the prices on the menu. Fun place to make ransom friends. Sadly was quite dirty on the day we were there don't know if it usually is otherwise.
