Manas Resort, Igatpuri [Petting Zoo and Organic Farm]

NOT WORTH THE PRICE
I booked a superior mountain view room for 20,000/- for 2 nights but got a basement room with property boundary wall view for the price. Bathroom fittings were loose, and wash basin water flow was very low. I will rate only 1 star for the rooms based on the price.
There is no mobile coverage, and the WiFi is horrible, as it gets disconnected every 2–3 minutes. Only visit if you have no problem getting disconnected online, and for calls, you have to go near the entrance to receive the signal.

The Woodpecker restaurant food was good, with good staff. There are no complaints about the food or the restaurant.

The birds of the peeping zoo are well maintained, and the staff is also helpful.

Overall, I would only recommend this place to people who are visiting it with family, and money doesn't matter to them.

Good place for family but very over priced and overrated. There was no room service even after paying 30k+ for one night stay. Food is average compared to what they charge. No proper service - we had to make multiple calls to reception just to get wifi connectivity. The bathrooms were not cleaned, had mold. The glasses kept in washroom for drinking water were also not cleaned and were covered with dust. Geyser too suddenly stopped working. Extra bed was kept in balcony which was also covered with dust.

The location is awesome. The valley view is good. Passing by trains is the cherry on top.

The property is good and recommended for family and friends.

The issue is with hospitality.
There is no coordination between the staff.
One of the staff said the pantry closes at 9: 30 pm and another 10: 30 pm. The staff called back to "question" us, why did we ask another staff for closing time.
Ine staff at night said someone can help with car wash if free from task and willing to do it.but the morning staff said that she will check who said that, it is not at all possible.

Rooms were not cleaned and torn cushions and bed sheet was provided.

The dogs are not cleaned properly. Need proper care.
The petting time clashes with breakfast and evening snack time.

The charges which customers are paying (6-8k per night), definitely expect far better hospitality.

Food is really good, Petting Zoo is a unique concept that children really like. The only disappointment was the quality of room - there was mould in some place and also the AC was not working properly. But good experience overall.

Manas Resort right next to valley is ideal location to be close to nature. In Monsoon one can enjoy clouds. Swimming pool has good view of valley.

Beautiful location. Greenery everywhere. Rooms overlooking Valley and mountain. Peaceful. Scenic.

Awesome place lot of pets are there specially u can do lot of fun with dogs. Totally natural the resort have different view specially u can see infinity pool from outside of woodpecker resturant the blue water very beautiful view. Even birds will say u hii hello if u are alone outside the reception and the changes of colours of sky in morning and evening is mesmerizing like natures gift.

It was a very wonderful experience.the hospital staff was very helpful, particularly Mr. Anand Donde who arranged for a birthday cake.he was very cooperative. Thanks.enjoyed a lot

Loved the place. I went with my family. My nephew loved playing with the pets there. Had awesome time in the swimming pool.room are simply wonderful. The food at the cafe restaurant is simply delicious. Loved the love music in the evening. Well all in all.amazing experience

Resort location is good and is ideal for family as well. At night and in the morning, it feels like you are walking in clouds. Valley view is also good. It's clean and well maintained, even the swimming pools.

Food at their restaurent was delicious. Veer and Suresh checked if our kid was also well fed and if anything specific would be required.

Staff (except at the front office/billing) was extremely polite and helpful. Caretaker of the animals let my kid play with birds and pony without any trouble. Housekeeping staff was also polite.

Their rooms need an update though. Shower didn't work properly for both the rooms we used.

But overall, a very good experience. The best customer service.

Awesome Place! Awesome Food! Awesome People!
The view from Premium rooms is just mesmerizing. Live Orchestra on weekend adds cherry on cake. I went with my wife and we had a memorable time. Pets are soo friendly and can play with them too. Infinity pool with breathtaking scenery background makes it a complete 10/10 rating.

We enjoyed stay with our friends on 29th July to 31st July. Rooms are nicely maintained. View from room was nice overlooking hills. Nice hospitality at restaurant and all staff was pleasant and nice. Food quality was nice and variety was excellent. I will definitely recommend to my friend for stay. Dr S R Rahalkar

Had a nice holiday experience. Staff were very courteous. Room and food were good. They also provided food for our dog. Overall experience was very good.

To be honest n Frank, a must visit in igatpuri for the valley view, service provided, things to explore at the resort n the food provided. Great stay n that too with a 10 month old baby, time was worth spending

Worst place to stay with kids.
We had cockroaches n mouse in room.
Changed the room thrice for 1DAY stay that wasted our half day.
Paying 10k n staying with cockroaches is just not acceptable.

Service is good, staff is friendly.rooms are not worth for what we pay.they claim that the valley view is unique feature for their rooms compared to other nearby resorts which is true but they have dumped all broken furniture items in backyard which doesn't look good.
Animal interaction experience is very limited hence giving 3 stars.

Place is nice but staff is worst they are back replying in entercom and saying we cannot give you service now because room is to far. I would not sugest any one to go there.

Best resort of Igatpuri with very good service staff. The food quality is very good and managing team is one of the best, they try to keep all guests very happy.

We've had an absolute paradise of an experience in Manas resort. The hospitality of the hotel staff (Special shoutout for Raju) the food, the pet animals, the vibe would make you want to ask for more. Well done, guys!

Once a good resort is now just eating out its remaining goodwill. Rude front desk staff with average other staff. Petting zoo is just alright. There are better places available now, you should consider them.

Started here 11-13/Aug/2021. Absolutely disastrous!
We booked 2 premium rooms (INR 9000/- each per night), but both rooms were infested with flying cockroaches, mosquitoes and bugs. Reception was not available most of the times at night, to attend to our request for Baygon spray. TV and set top boxes were not working and arrangements were overall pathetic. Swimming pool was claimed to be open, but was actually. They call themselves 4 star, and I wonder which authority has given them these stars.
Food was a saving grace though, but exorbitantly priced. Another good feature was allowing pets.
That apart, absolutely rotten stay - after living at proper starred hotels and resorts all over the world, this self starred resort was an absolute disaster. Not worth spending so much on this rat hole.

Lots of Papaya trees you can buy some if you want

I spent a day on 20th July at the property and their premium mountain view cost me 9,000. Quality of their “premium” room was very ordinary and not worth it. My flat at thane is many times better than their “premium”. This resort was totally not worth it.
They didn’t inform me that their petting zoo is not operational during monsoon. Only birds attraction was available. Petting zoo only has dogs and birds and very overrated.
This was my first and last time at this resort. This is not worth more than 3,000.

Not so good. Garden should be cleaned. Animals should be more. One extra basin must be there in hall. Toilets must be cleaned with, phyniel etc

The resort has to develop a lot on fooding facilities, room furnishing and staff responsiveness and professionalism. 3 stars because of the beautiful location, minus 2 stars for keeping birds captive.

The rooms were not clean as required there were spiders and ground insects all over and next day cleaning staff we informed but of no use they didn't know how to stop them from coming in. I understand it's because of rains. Both the couch in the living room were dirty. The table kept outside for food was also dirty. The location is good no doubt but rooms need major improvements. The food is below average and prices are exorbitant. 1 plate chicken chilly will cost you 550 and chicken masala 750. They don't provide everything as mentioned for in-room items but you need to ask them for everything. They are also very strict in terms of timing check out at 10 am means 10 or else they will make you feel uncomfortable I felt i am in military training. I am on vacation and every resort gives some time for late checkout. As per their policy late checkout will cost you 800 per hour + Tax. They even tax you for your pet (1000 + tax per day) inspite being pet friendly. The mini pool takes 4+ hours to fill and and also to drain. Ratings go as below

If you are not staying at the resort and just visiting the restaurant to eat you won't be allowed to visit petting zoo.
The food is decent.

Very nice, spacious, neat, well organized and clean. All precautions of covid -19 are followed. Variety of food dishes and also tasty. Will go relaxed in next visit.

Absolutely low maintenance. Dirty bedsheets, rooms, surroundings, tea in paper cups, and high tariffs and pathetic wifi. 2 stars that I am giving here is just courtesy.

Good food, Great staff, Meals served at good speed. Lots of doggy puppies & Birds. Must visit for children. Nice experience of Cow milking.

We had done event last Saturday on 17th and 18th july 2021 the staff of the hotel was very good and we have book the banquet hall there and the banquet hall staff was very good at work specially Harish Akshay And omkar
