We ordered 2 Thalis, 1mini thali & 1 curd rice with masala chaas. I was pleasantly surprised first with the absolute cleanliness of the place & secondly that I could order A la carte @ a place famous for its thali. The food quantity & quality both are very good! The service is very good.

I'm gujarati. But still felt the food is very sweet.
Samosa and dhokla weren't upto mark.
Gujarati dal, pulao, roti were the only things I liked.

Pathetic food.never tasted a thali as bad as this.definitely not worth Rs 550! Pls avoid wasting your time and money here. When complained to owner they just smiled and did nothing.

Mini thali was decent, and light on pocket and stomach as well. Daal bathi is damn good. And one must try mango milk shake. One of the best out there.

Visited this iconic food joint after reading rave reviews. The service, ambience and hygiene were topnotch. Kudos to the servers. However, the biggest let down was the food and value for money. There was ample variety in dishes but sadly all were bland and unremarkable. The Vegetarian Thali is priced at Rs. 500 which is unreasonable for the unpalatable food.

You are forced to opt for Special Thali with excuse that regular is not available today. Ordered Special Thali but found nothing special in it.

I first had my lunch at Mayur in 2003. Since then I have been visiting Mayur whenever I am in Pune. It is a child-friendly and clean place. The staff are efficient and courteous.

This is nice clean place with quick service. Just visited after a long tine and loved the food. However this time I felt they had served some regular North Indian dishes in the Thali that were not authentic Gujarati fare. 400rs a person plus taxes is steep but it’s a great location too.

I have been a regular at this place for almost a decade may be more. We visit the place for its homely atmosphere and food. But, my last experience was shocking and painful as the present lot of staff has ruined the experience. We ordered a meal and on telling the waiter that a particular dish was not ok was given a rude reply and was told that you dont know what dish is it. We were shocked at such a reply. We left our meal and complained to the cashier as he seemed to be a manager but were given a cold shoulder. We paid and left. Sub standard service with rude staff.
