MTDC Resort Ganpatipule

Little expensive compared to the room. Not clean. Ambience is not at all good. None of the amenities were in working condition. No pool, no park for kids to play, food quality and taste is ok ok. Only good part is we get private beach to enjoy. Would not recommend this resort.

Very nice resort situated just opposit to the famous Shri Ganesh temple. If you get the accommodation of the room where the gallery faces the sea, we can enjoy scenic beauty of sea shore & sunset too. The service of staff is nice. Huge garden & other amenities are maintained properly. However the buildings requires immediate attention of Government for repairs.

We all do the service of Sadhguru, but in the hands of Sadhguru, out of crores of people, he chooses one who loves him or serves him wholeheartedly, and gives him the blessing that the service will last from generation to generation, and that service will continue forever. MTDC BEAH RESORT IS VERY CLOSED TO GANPATIPULE BEACH AND GANESHTEMPLE. THIS RESORT HAVING BAMBU HOUSE IN FRON OF BEACH ITS REALLY GREAT LOCATUON TO ENJOY WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS. THEIR IS ALSO WATERSPORT ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE.

While it may not be greatly maintained, it still is good due to its location.

The Tarang restaurant is expensive and not that great

Asome food but very slow service even to take our lunch bill no one to eager our bill also

Excellent location, vast area, decent accommodation, and pleasant surrounding, not crowded. Must visit and stay for at least one day and night.

There is huge scope overall improvement given the prime location but in vain. Infrastructure to professional approach is lacking.

Brilliant location, extreme proximity to the Ganapati temple yet has an almost private section of beach if the stay is in bamboo house. Small things like clothes string to dry wet cloths, swings to sit and watch sunset have been provided, very thoughtful. The showers located outside, near beach entrance do not work though. Also, if you are looking for authentic Konkani food, the restaurant has very limited options, it serves standard restaurant menus. Full marks for location and privacy.

Great place to stay at a reasonable price and some peaceful time away from pollutions. Loved the sea and beach view from the room directly. Sevice and food could have been better as there were very limited options available. Perfectly located near beach and temple. Recommend place if you are visiting here.

Perfect place to stay as the beach and mandir both are just 2 mins away. Good view from rooms, gardens are well maintained, resturant in premise.
But rooms need to be renovated. Furniture laminate is old and chipped. Room paint is clearly seen very old. Room widow need good locks as anyone can enter from beach.
Restaurant is good but charge more for bottle water (specially kinley brand)
Also if you are booking online, ready to pay extra charge for credit card payment (which is strange for govt facility)

Pillow covers & bedsheets are not washed properly also to contact reception is very difficult as most of the time phone remain switched off that also for ordering food.
Otherwise location is excellent & rooms are specious. Premises should be maintained properly by putting Mexican lawn.

Good location and A perfect place for a getaway. Property is less maintained. Beware of Overly priced menu.

Room service is limited to Tea/Coffee.
There are two restaurant on premise, but food quality is below average.
Location is great, direct access to beach.
We booked Sea Villa with open panorama open deck.

The best place to stay at Ganpatipule. AC rooms with sea view gives our trip golden touch. Ambience is awesome. Good hospitality. Cleanliness is maintained. Lot of place for car parking. This place is nearest from temple as well as beach.
No booking is allowed on phone.need to do in person or online booking. Even if somewhat costly than others still one should enjoy the view atleast for once. Must visit place.

Only location is good. Food is bad and overall my experience is not good for what o paid for this property.

Rooms are good, Service is also good. Location is perfect but zero maintainance around the property. Childrens play area is full of bushes and slides and rides are rusted or broken. Way to the beach is not clean. This is for the see facing rooms. Non delux

Mtdc is best resorts.infront of sea view.locations is excellent.enjoyed whole family with kids also.very good.we Will came again next visit also.

Go for the Huts! The surrounding is nice, beach view, and easy access to beach. Food is Nice.

The best hotel for a stay at Ganapati phule. The rooms are clean and they are cleaned everyday if one wishes. The rooms we stayed were sea facing. It was a great experience.
The cafeteria serves fresh food which is made to order.
Overall it was a Great experience

I am giving five stars for the location. However the rooms and services are quite good considering the charges. We booked sea view rooms and what a view it was! Right from the room one can see the sea and from the balcony it feels as if one is sitting on the beach. The beach is beautiful with clean sand and pristine water. The Ganpati temple is just across the road. Lots of eateries nearby. Out of two restaurants in the premises, one is operational now and is quite far off from some rooms.

Good things and location. Tarang restaurant was not so good. The offer restaurant and Bamboo houses are excellent.

The resort is just beside the temple and the temple is attached to the beach so you can understand how perfect the location of the hotel is.
We stayed in a bamboo house which was very good. Ac, tv and hot water for the bath was available. Their lawn was my favourite there are swings and chairs to relax and enjoy the beach.
Online booking was hassle free and they have plenty of parking space.

Very poor quality of staff. Rooms were dirty. Service was zero. No assistance. Had to get the bed covers and pillow covers changed and while asking for it multiple times were told no staff available. Unable to digest that these resorts are not subjected to inspection by Senior Authorities. They will get a chance to themselves fathom why people will give negative opinion.
