Mumbai Dream Tours

Completed a dharavi slum tour yesterday as part of our stay in Mumbai. Our guide Rikesh was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. Can’t recommend him or this tour more!

During our 4 day stay in Mumbai we (couple from Germany) ended up having 2 tours together with Mumbai Dream Tours and we enjoyed every single one of them.
Our guide for the Bollywood tour was Dinesh, which happened to be the co-founder. We loved the tour and also how he was showing us around that we decided to book a heritage walk around the Bandras neighborhood for the next day. Here we had again an amazing guide, which was Akanksha.
After traveling for almost 6 month and experiencing various tour guides in different countries, we enjoyed both of our tours even more. At the end the experience and memories you get are strongly connected to the person showing you around and there Mumbai Dream Tours has just amazing people. You can feel that they love what they are doing and this makes it very special.
So keep up your amazing work and for all the people looking for a tour in Mumbai, we can totally recommend this company!

I did the Heritage walk with the lovely Sanika, and would wholeheartedly recommend it. The tour was tailored for me (I asked for "maximum level of history please! ") and Sanika absolutely delivered with hours of wonderful and lively stories - not at all stuffy, but fun and even using maps and illustrations. She spoke about her city passionately, and in an engaging manner for the listener. She also engaged in lots of conversation around my questions - always happy to dig deeper, and offer personal views and experiences. This is not your average, guidebook, stuffy tour! This is an incredibly rich, accessible way to get to know the historic city centre with a knowledgeable and friendly guide. I would also highly recommend this company in general, as Sanika spoke about their ethos and they absolutely value community and fair pay for their highly skilled guides (Sanika is a History Masters). I will be booking again if back in Mumbai!

Divya our guide said she wanted to show us the good and the bad of the slum and we were so glad to get an authentic view of life there from someone who was born and raised in the slum.

It truly was eyeopening and I've been recommending to everyone I know who is visiting India!

We had a great time on the heritage cycle tour. The early start was definitely worth it to see some of the major sites, as well as some less famous ones, before it got too hot and busy.

The slum tour gave us a very nice insighr into the everyday lives of the millions of people who, together, just make it work in this interesting part of the city. Nice guide, nice tour.
