My friend had made a plan for Lonavala on Friday - Saturday. Accordingly, we left Pune around 10 am and reached Lonavala between 12.30 - 1.00 pm.
We had decided to book a hotel room earlier, but the online rates were showing very expensive, so we decided to go to Lonavala and book a hotel room.
After reaching Lonavala, I went to the oyo and others platform and turned on the hotels address and contact no shodhyala.
After 20-25 minutes we found a cheap hotel. Hotel Nandanvan by Royal Stay, Old Khandala Road, Indiranagar, near Railway Gate.
The online rates of the hotel are different, after going to the location, the real rates were known at the counter. So call them once while going here.
Online rates look 1350 - 1500 Rs, but we got the room for 1700 Rs. The rate was fixed at the counter, they did not reduce the rates.
We booked a ground floor room. The room was fine. There was a slight smell in the room. Also, the bed and pillow also smelled very much. Also I noticed 2-3 tiny cockroaches on the bed. The bed sheet on the bed was also bad, there were stains in 4-5 places on it.
Bathroom / Toilet was fine, there was no handwash, soap, toilet paper in the bathroom. When we asked, they brought 3 small soaps.
Hotel Check In Time is - 12.00 pm and Check Out Timing is - 11.00 am.
In terms of Overall Experience, the hotel was good for the price but the service was not good.
There is a tapri in front of the hotel, but not much food available there. There is a grocery store and 2 small hotels at a distance of 300-400 meters on the right hand side of the road above the hotel.
In these hotels you will find tea, vada pav, samosa etc.
Further along the same road is the shop of Cooper Fudge.

Pathetic Service from Hotel. Though I had already pre booked the Hotel at x amount the manager was looking to charge x+y amount by unfair means. I got annoyed by their behaviour and greed and will request anyone to please take reconfirmation before finalizing through E commerce website

Good rooms, were clean and very friendly staff. They helped us organising our Trips. Mr. Kishore was very helpful.

The rooms are okay, but the hotel is exactly next to railway crossing, because of this there's a lot of railway honking and noises everytime train passes.

Stay was excellent, nice bedroom. Lost something precious in lonavala and the owner went out of his way to help me find it and send it to me even though I was already staying 800km away from the hostel!

Service is good by Mr. Kishore.cleanliness is good. Had a good stay.all over one can have a nice stay in this hotel

OYO has given their number as hotel number and through that number not able to contact hotel.

The room was nice but felt a bit expensive. The main guy on the reception was very helpful and kind well as the others were pretty least bothered. The A/c wasn't cooling the room at even 16° neither the fan's switch was working which made us feel extremely hot. Bathroom was okay.

The Hotel Is Bit Horrific. Small Rooms and Small Washroom. And Staff Of Hotel Is Not Helpful For Anything.
If You are Looking For Hotel Just To Sleep at Night than It's For You. But It's Located In Narrow Lane Area which Has Traffic Mostly. No Proper 4 Wheelers Parking Area. And Photos Posted are of It's Opening Time.now It's Just 3rd Class Hotel.

It's located just beside the road near railway crossing which causes traffic most of the times but light traffic. This property doesn't have a lobby. Not a great choice to stay with family since no games. It has good scenery though.

Its a good budget hotel at a strategic location in the heart of mountain.looks clean and hygenic
