OYO Flagship 36881 Hotel Lion's Den

Wanted to come to the hotel for the price of 1000 rupees advertised, got told that they don't accept this price and wanted 3,5k rupees for a spacious but molding room. Could not take a tuktuk back to town because it's a little outside of the city

Highly disappointed with the room. We booked three rooms. Room-1: Old broken, too much noisy AC, Washroom had no jet, Room-2: Sofa was old dirty, Room-3: cupboard full with hotel's materials. In General, all room had smell. We found that pillows, mattresses, blanket had black (fungal) patches due to high humidity.

Hotel without lift. Location is also not so good. Rooms and staff both are good. Food is also too. If you are visiting lonavla market at evening/night time, than don't go to hotel by walk, hire auto.

It was a nightmare one of the most horrible experience of my life
The manager doesn't have any manners to talk with the guest
They asked us to checkout after paying them full payment at 10 clocki was with my family the place was at isolated
Area he then asked us for additional 6000 rs i request you people to never ever book this hotel

Absolutely awful hotel. Smelly rooms, dirty linens and to top it off the hotel is not well lit. You'll feel like you are wandering in jungle with no electricity. Didn't have any issue with staff as we cancelled the booking seeing the condition of the hotel. Not at all suitable for family. Please avoid at all costs. Searched for hotels at 10: 00 pm and ultimately landed at City Palace Resort which was semi-decent, but a huge upgrade comparing it to Lion's Den

Worst hotel to visit.
Management is very poor.
Property manager is rude.
Everything is below the mark and they don't know how to behave with customer.
Service is worst and food quality and taste is also poor.

Worst experience ever.
I had gone with my family, we were total of 8 people, their staff does not have etiquette to talk to guests who are staying. They just want to extract money. They asked us to make full payment in the morning then suddenly at night, they asked us to pay 6K extra, when we denied and said that we have already made the payment, they asked us to checkout. Now, that hotel is in the most isolated area of lunavala, where do we go with family at 11 PM in night?
When we had made full payment in the morning, they gave us receipt also. When we showed him the receipt at night, with the seal of hotel, Manager just snatched it from my brother's hand and tore it. It was so so bad. We tried calling police but no response. We were just stuck there and we just could not checkout with family at 11 PM so we had to pay extra unnecessarily. This is the worst experience that we have had so far. That hotel's manager is so ill-mannered that he literally tore that receipt of payment after snatching it from my brother. Hated that experience.

The hotel is nice but the room are fine (oyo standard). Food is expensive but the service is very good. Much recommended with friends.

Not valuable for 3 star hotel, put down to 1 star, service is worst.

Very old hotel it is. Location was not good. Not to go it rainy days due to road. They don't have option of food delivery.

Worst Experience.
They were threaten us for the check out on odd midnight hour else asking for extra money. As the was far from city, in the dark and I was with family so i had to pay extra money.
Misbehaving with girls.
Hotel was very dirty, towels and mattress were smelling and so many insects were there in hotels
Staff was very rude.
No service. Will not recommend to book this hotel. Even if you book give him two slaps this manager from my side.

Rooms at hotel lion's Den are good for stay.it is situated very near to mumbai-pune highway.rooms are bit overpriced.you will have peaceful views from rooms.tugarli lake is very near from here.this hotel is situated bit away from Lonavala city, hence less crowded and peaceful.roads reaching to this hotel are not good.rooms are spacious and clean.food is good

Located near highway near prime tourist spots of Lonavala. Staff is very courteous but the rooms were not upto mark in terms of cleanliness but the staff was more than happy to help. Property is nice and huge. They have rooms and bungalows at very reasonable prices with breakfast available. WiFi is available only in the lobby area. ID with address is required for check-in. Restaurant is available.

The hotel was good, the rooms were exactly same as shown in oyo app. The breakfast taste was good, but more of "compulsory breakfast" than complementary. The staff was well behaved, restaurant has good taste in Chinese cuisine. Overall good stay.

We stayed their and it was the worst experience we ever had the manager was the worst and they have no way to talk to the customers misbehaved with us hotel and rooms were not maintained properly and telling to checkout at night and disturbing other customers

Staff is good but need to improves alot on hospitality and amenities.improper functioning of ac and shower and unhygenic.

Unhygienic rooms with fungi in pillows and curtain. Poor room service, complimentary breakfast is taste less and ordered food is average.

Clean and good Rooms. The hotel staff are very helpful. Its bit interior but very peaceful and relaxing place to stay at Lonavala, away from the crowd during the weekends at Lonavala

No hot water supply in rooms. AC is not working properly and roads to reach hotel is rocky and muddy.someone who is going from vehicle especially in rainy season need their wheels condition proper

This place is a bit away from market and regular traffic.its a peaceful location.the owner had planted many trees himself he got those from Australia, New Zealand and other countries.this place is cooler than the market area. This place serves very good non veg food.

No proper wifi signal in rooms except in reception area.
No proper hot water and need to wait for long time due to solar/common heating system.
Way to hotel is muddy and no proper road.
Need to ask staff twice/thrice to get replaced/filled like soap gel etc.

I along with my wife were seeking a peaceful stay for a night at eleventh hour due to our busy schedules to slowdown a bit and relax. I found that the Lions Den hotel was far away from the hustle and bustle of the Lonavala City. I paid 3times it's normal room rates as it match upto our expectations. The moment I reached I found that the road to it's entry was not a good and safe (see pics). The rooms were nice and tidy, perhaps were recently renovated. It had a nice garden outside and a patio. There was good greenery around it. I was accompanied by my wife and an infant. The room didn't had electric kettle which was necessary to have hot water to drink in cold season. Though the hotel offered free WiFi but it was only accessible in common areas and not in the rooms. The kitchen service were limited till 10.30pm at night after which one has to struggle to get hot milk at middle of the night for your younger one, otherwise the kitchen was available. At night, their conference Hall was booked for 5days and the guests in the conference played DJ till 4am and made all sorts of noises along which completely spoiled my night out. Even after complaining repeatedly they failed to stop them. They later compensated by giving 20% off on my food bills. Oh yes, their food was a bit overpriced. Overall, the hotel is fair for a night's stay only, as its manager lacked skills to maintain discipline for all the guests equally. They should not have taken any other bookings as it disturbed us the entire night due to the guests accommodated for conference, consequently we had to face the next day tired and weared.

It's a very good budget hotel. Located near to the city and some other spots which you can visit hardly in 2 hours. Service is very good, food quality is also above average. Ambience is okay/nice depending upon room you select. There are some points which I think should be fixed,
1. Door locks are broken in some rooms.
2. TT table is very old and need to be replaced.
3. Cleaning should be taken more seriously to avoid alcohol smell in rooms.
4. Additional activites should be added to hotel e.g. Cycles, carrom board etc.
5. Repainting of the rooms is very necessary.
