Highy recommend to visit this place. Great food. 5 different types of puri's available here. Pancham thali would be a option to try the best of all available. Place is crowded during most of the time so you may have to stand in queue for around 20 mins, but it'll be worth.
Quality have declined drastically under the new generation owner and staff, that are bit rude and found hair in the food, anyhow i have visited the place multiple times but no complaint at that time, when old owner use to sit.
It was a really good experience. We had to stand in queue for some time, but it was worth it. It was jam packed but the taste was really yummy. Must Visit
Ordered Pancham thali and it was totally worth it, You get 5 types of sabjis along with puris, dal, rice, kheer, chaas and papad. I went in afternoon, waiting time was 25-30mins
An old Iconic place to enjoy the Puri thali with different puri types.place is small but the service is good but the taste somewhat I feel has been compromised offlate
This shop is in prime location just opposite of CST railway station, Mumbai as far as food is concerned it's good and cheap also and the place is hygienic also, overall good experience.
Eating at this place since 25 years, mouth watering Alu rassa bhaji, Alu sukka bhaji and Bhopla bhaji and most imp is taste since last 25 yrs is unique and same.
Puri was oily. Biryani (pulav) was tasteless. I wanna pen down a lot of things begining from entry to exit. People who are coming from far of places just to have their food - PLEASE don't waste time, energy and money.
One of the oldest and famous place for authentic poori bhaji. The food is no doubt tasty, service is quick. In covid, they are following all the precautions like temperature check and sanitisation. The place is clean and all the staff are polite.
I had masala puri special thali and all the items in it were delicious and quantity is enough for two people. Completely pocket friendly place.
Pancham Puriwala is an pure veg restraunt which serves thali with variety of vegetables and masala puri with an authentic marwadi taste. In covid they are serving in following manner. Most of the vegetables are no onion no garlic.
Located just opposite VT station this gem of an eatery is a blessing for people who want to have a good, pocket-friendly and a hygienic breakfast. Heaven for poori lovers. There are many types of pooris on offer. Their authentic kadhi is a must try. Overall the variety and taste this place offers will keep you going for more!
Had special thali which comes with stuffed puris and 4curries including Chole, dry aloo, aloo gravy and kadi pakoda along with rice and sweet. Food tasted good and felt like a quality preparation but not something extraordinary. Don't go with huge expectations you will not be disappointed, anyway I can't remember anyone serving a thali with puri as a main special dish so I would definitely recommend to give it a try. Also forgot to mention, it's lite on pocket too. I paid 135/- which is cheap considering the location
Pnacham puriwala is one of the oldest restaurant in mumbai. Thali's here are famous, we opted for the famous pancham thali which was served with 4 types of puri's, kadi, dal, bhendi fry, matar paneer, chole gravy, rajma curry, dahi vada, gulabjaam, pulao, papad and chaas. Also they serve the best aam ras in town. Don't miss out on trying their aamras puri in the summer season and also their mango lassi tastes divine. We also tyried chole puri which was amazing.
I love this place! I requested them to give me pancham thali at 10: 30 in the morning and they prepared the entire food so quickly even though it wasn't lunch time. Great service
Famous an testy Puri if every contain means palak puri aalu puri methi puri mix puri special for puri hot plate pure oil usee cooking in clean place infront of u test is amazing
One of the oldest eating place conveniently located outside the CSMT railway station. Know this place for 60years. Very reasonable price. Very good puri bhaji. Served hot. Bhaji served unlimited. Also special puri bhaji, thali available.
This is a nice small veg hotel opp cstm station. This is a 160 year old place famous for different kind of puris they serve. Pick time is 11: 30 to 2: 30 u have to wait for 20 min minimum to get a place. Taste is awesome. Price is also ok ok.
Had a wonderful and appetizing veg thali.which was so wholesome at an unbelievable rate of just 70 rupees. Very hygenic.good food.fresh and with any soda or preservatives
Good service, Helpfull staff. One of the oldest very renowned name in Mumbai. The menu hasn`t really changed a lot since the time it was started. The place is located just outside the iconic CSMT railway station.
Simple but delicious vegetarian North Indian Meal! The limited space is a constraint and you may need to wait for some time in peak hours. But the wait is worth of it! A must visit place if you are near CSMT/Fort Area of South Mumbai.
The puris were very oily and the taste average. Nothing to rave about. I lost my appetite completely after I found a small cockroach in the kheer halfway through the meal. Never going back.
This is an old and famous shop for various type of Puris. They are serving Puris since mid 90s. The food is awesome and spicy. The places is crowded during morning and night. One can full his stomach with tasty Poris by spending Rs. 150. One must visit, if he love Puris.
This place is very near to CST (CSMT) main entrance for express train and also Local. The moment you come out of the CSMT, cross the main road which will lead you to DCP Zone 1 building and adjacent to that building you can easily see the board of Pancham Puriwala. During afternoon you will rarely find the place to sit, sometimes you may be even standing in the queue for your turn to sit. Apart from Puri sabzi they also serve Thali. My experience is only of puri sabzi which to me was not so extraordinary. The price of one puri sabzi or bhaji is Rs. 40/-, they have more options in puri which in due course i will definitely post for you people. Nearby banks to this place is Bank of Maharashtra with ATM, Boribunder branch, ICICI Atm, SBI Atm. This place is full of compact size hotels and restaurant which are not so hygiene. So, eat on your risk. Please don't drink plain water better buy a mineral bottle if you are having food here. Hope this will help. Pics will be posted soon.
If you visit CST (V T), you have to visit the place for Best lunch or dinner, pure vegetarian, for hot Puri s (Masala Puris) with various types of vegetables, Rice plate to good.
Being a old restaurant it adds to your resume, well I have been binging here for ages now. Just to inform, like North India, here too Aloo subzi is complimentary & rest all is payable. Atta puri & masala puri is good, dahi bhalle are great, rest subzi are decent & lassi with a hint of rooz essence is yummy.
Good value for money, quick and easy meal. The food isn't as fresh as it's probably been prepared ahead of time, but you make up for that as it only takes 2 minutes to get your food.
Awesome food at a very reasonable price. Location is in the most crowded place in Mumbai, just opposite of CSTM. Forget about car parking, catch a train or taxi for reaching there. Seating arrangements are a bit compromised. There is no AC. But that doesn't matter much. Must try Puncham thali. Best place if you are really hungry. Be ready to wait for 5-10 min. Staff is fast and attentive.
