Amravati's son and my nephew Shaurya Sandeep Lohakpure, aged 3 years, was suffering from obesity. Since my brother is from a rural area, Dr. H. V. There was no information about Desai Eye Hospital, Pune. All the information about the said hospital Shri. Ranjana Kale, Hospital Staff Sister provided full assistance. Mrs. Dr. Shaurya in the OPD of the child. When we were shown to Abhilasha Parkhe madam, she advised us to do tilt surgery. He also gave information about the said surgery being done under the Mahatma Phule Jan Arogya Yojana.
According to his guidance, we 7 months ago Ms. Shaurya had surgery on both his eyes. The said surgery is done by Dr. Very well done by Abhilasha madam. In order to get the benefit of Mahatma Phule Jan Arogya Yojana for the said surgery, Mrs. Vidya Sable helped by providing information about the settlement of documents and approving the benefits of the Mahatma Phule Jan Arogya Yojana. So the surgery was done on time and without any complications.d. On 12/08/2023 Ms. Shaurya has undergone cataract surgery in one eye and today. Inspection was done on 01/09/2023. Mrs. Both eyes of Shaurya have been successfully operated and there is no astigmatism. Because of the said surgery. Shaurya is looking very good. Me and Ms. Shaurya's parents are very happy.
So I and Dr. H. V. Thanks to Desai Eye Hospital. Especially Dr.who played a significant role in the successful completion of the said surgery. Abhilasha Parkhe Madam, Shri. Visited for mothers pre check of cataract surgery. Heard of this place from many didn't really took any treatment. Just had a normal eye check. Due to less to not much expensive treatment place is mostly crowded.

Overall related to treatment it is good. Success rate is high. Hospital is clean. At start of the day one time housekeeping staff comes and does cleaning. I gave 3 star because of "Behavior issue". From some Doctor till whole support staff and other person directly or indirectly related with all procedures, they behave very rudely. I don't know why but it may be work pressure or something else but this is the main problem. I have spend 2 day here and I have listened to much yelling from sisters or wordboy throughout the day. When we speak about specific doctor I don't know his name but he is tall and wear specs, he is too rude. This needs to be change. This is your job you have to be polite and there are some doctors along with you they are. Don't be arrogant. After operation when you are removing cotton from eye remove little bit softly, Patient have already in pain and you are removing cotton so harshly. I am not writing this is by my own, I have got some feedback and some are my observations. Rest all are good. Go with it.

Today, 5 th May, 2023 I met Shri H V Desai at Vanrai meeting. I requested Shri Desai for my eye check. He immediately referred me to Dr Rahul Deshpande & his team. Excellent skills in all team members. I must congragulate Dr Deshpande & his team.

Ram Nori -Recently undergone a complected cataract procedure preformed by Dr. Rahul Deshpande. I came to H V Desai Eye Hospital for consultation. Dr. Rahul put me through serious of regions diagnostics test to pinpoint the problem. The cataract producer was complicated because of the infection in the eye that cause adhesion. Dr Rahul skillfully removed the adhesion and inserted the lens. So the complicated cataract surgery was successful. Thanks to Dr Rahul Deshpande and his staff including the anesthesiologist and the support staff. The Executive Director of the hospital, once he came to know this is a complected case, took his personal interest to monitor the case. Thanks to the Executive Director, the hospital, the doctors and the staff for making the pleasurable experience.

I was visit yesterday for my fathers operation but the hospital sraff was very unhelpful and aroguant they always told the patient to wait outside and inside the cabin staff doing food party & all.hospital have no rules and regulations and ethics

Dr. Varsha has optd my wife 66 yrs, both eyes cataract in quick succesion very professionally. Truly appreciate the care compassion and considerate approach from checking to follow up. Trust worthy for success. Mr. Sathe is admin professional who guides you very carefully through your event in DESAI EYE HOSPITAL. Very mature and down to earth person who is asset to the org. The services that I receive from H V Desai Eye Hospital is excellent. Specially Dr. Shilpa Sonarkhan she explained everything to me in a very clear manner. All of the staff was great – they were helpful, patient and helped with my insurance.

It's very nice hospital for eyes. Doctors are taking care of patients very nicely and with due diligence.

Visiting in morning is recommended if you are not fan of standing in queues.

Went for first time. No doubt good institute and provides reasonable services to financially weaker section. But they should speed up their services. Waited for more than an hour when we were finally called. And then another waiting. Finally after more than two and half hr of waiting and being asked to wait more.we just left.

Never buy Specs at H V Desai eye hospital Eye store bec.they are using worst, cheap quality & thin glasses for specs supplying vendors which develops permanent spots on that after 15 days which is leads harmful & frequent changing number of your eye. After one month if you raise any complaint for generation of Spots they will never respond and clearly denying patient request for developed spots which looking blurr and leads harmful to eye for changing number and they aware that, no one can complaint due to hospital located at remote area. I suffered with same issue but still iam waiting for solution since 25 Sept 2022.which i spent for that for Specs. I clearly shown & proven them its a thin & poor glass quality issue for generation of spots and these are not a scratches.
They are commercial people.

We had a great experience at hospital for cataract operation. My mom got operated here in November for left eye and In December for right eye. Results are great … her wording … she got rid of her glass and now she can work on her own @ 72. Watch to clearly and everything has become brighter. Experience at hospital starting from reception to medicine store … amazing. Doctors particularly junior doctors are very warm and helpful. Dr. Atul … great surgery and my mom call him magician. My experience is different here. I visited this place on Wednesday 28th dec at 9 am with my family. Booked general OPD registration for me and my wife. Paid 400 rupees through UPI. Later came to know that general OPD fee is 200 rupees only for both 100 rupees each person. Asked person who was doing OPD registration at counter. He told amount will get refunded in an hour. It's been 2 days no refund. Not sure why he lied and did not give correct information.

Doctors behaviour with paitent is very rude, unprofessional.chit chatting with each other while treating the patients, this shows the level of seriousness towards the paitent.

Again poor response I called on said number and operator asked to call on manager mobile number but no one is picking calls on it.

2nd floor attendant are very rude behavior and they don’t know how to talk. They talked nicely only with Marathi.

Very bad behaviour of staff they keep screaming on patients as if they are working free for them. They don't realise senior citizen needs respect and politeness. The staff behaves as if it is government hospital I hope my comment will make some change!

If you planning your relatives catract surgery under Insurance (Cashless) then it's not good place. You have multiple good options in Pune. In my case Before surgery insurance company given Pre-approval amount. Which obviously Lesser than Surgery amount. I Discussed with Cashless team & they said, remaining amount Approval is pending you need to pay complete amount before surgery after surgery your insurance company will give remaining amount Approval & we will refund you within 1-2 days. I paid remaining amount & after surgery next day my insurance company given remaining amount Approval. After that I take multiple follow -up for refund but they not even answer properly. Every time they just say your refund will initiate in next 2 days. After almost daily follow -up i receive refund on 15th day after surgery. Really not expected from this kind of reputed hospital

Hospital is good and cheaper but staff is careless, process is time taking. Take too much time for checkups.

Poor! No Dr or intern anyone bothers to give you clear & precise instructions.
Worst is the optical shop people, Dr sitting at the contact lense department assures that the required power lenses are available however when u actually go to the shop they try to give u the nearest possible match which jeopardises the whole process of examining the exact number. Thank you for your response! After receiving the prescription with the actual eye power on it, I went to the contact lense department to show it to the Dr, she called up the optical shop asking if the said lenses are available they said yes that's how I went there to buy the same, I was ok buy a different brand lense than what I normally use, as Dr said it won't make any difference & she said it's available at the store which will save me a lot of time as I assumed they know their job! After reaching there to his surprise (store person) all of a sudden the required power lense were not available! Which is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Dr did not explain anything what to do if in case I do not get the mention power lense.
How come the same power lense as mentioned in the prescription is readily available at an optical store despite the fact it's not available at such a big hospital optical store where obviously patients would prefer to buy!
Further to this when I went to the contact lense department no one bothered to take you in as the Dr's were busy having tea. There's no problem in having tea but when u can see someone's at the door looking for help u have the courtesy to ask the same.
To conclude normally when u receive the prescription with the eye power on it, u directly go to the optical store to get the lense or the spectacles however here it was necessary to show it to the contact lense department Dr before buying one, there is nothing wrong in consulting point being it didn't make any difference.
The Dr I spoke to didn't check my eye or nothing all she did was see the prescription call the optical shop guy & ask me to go there.hahah

They have three categories
General - Rs. 100/-, private - Rs. 200/- and privileged - Rs 500/-. /
The difference is the queue for people
For General they claim the line is larger than private and privileged.
For privileged the line is less due to the expensive rate.
I choose private line and I had to wait for a long time in line.
I would suggest to go with the privileged fees which saves time.

There is a medical store inside the hospital campus which provides discount on medicines.

My mom did her eye cataract surgery from here n Dr shweta was there on assistance.vry rude doctor n she pointed out the injection very badly because of which my mom is in very bad pain.they wanted to rush, they took 70 patients cataract and did not pay attention to her.pls make sure shweta is removed from here.my heart aches as my mom is in severe pain.this bloody doctor shweta should be put in prision.they chrg u less but you don't get good service.doctors wer frustrated as seniors were asking them to wind up the patients. I feel poor now that I took my mom here. I hope this review wil b considered.do not get ever get treated from shweta adinak, not really sure with the surname.super bad doctor, worst worst I feel like abusing her

Very quick service if you go through privilege entry pink form. Ground staff is very helpful and friendly. Operation and treatment charges are very competitive as compared to other private hospitals.

I visited 2 months back n today. The whole staff is very co- operative. Most of all they don't cheat you for unnecessary treatment. Thankyou all. God bless.

Though Trust hospital yet amazing services

Pros- Amazing nd helpful staff, caring doctors and well managed.

Cons- Request doctors not to allow 4-5 interns to examine patient's eyes, as the patient is already suffering nd so many examinations nd light in eyes by so many interns is very irritating nd feels harassing. Kindly consider this request.

Special thanks to Dr. Kaynat, and dr. Ankita to understand my constraint and help me have smooth prp laser quick and with minimal pain. Also thanks to Consultant Sameena who was very helpful all the time to get appointment for laser and accommodate request when due to personal reason missed.

The hospital service was just great. My grandfather had visited 5 hospitals to for the surgery, but no one was ready to do the re-surgery. But Dr. Rahul Deshpande took the responsibility and did surgery amd it went successful. I am grateful to him.

Very worst experience as per suggest maximum patients for tests and perimetry by checking junior doctors. More concentration on earnings by unnecessary tests. Only showing that fees is less.

The charges for eye check are different in morning the basic check up is of 100 rs and in evening it is twice 200rs

I have been visiting to H. V. Desai hospital from past several years. Doctors are really good. Compare to past Ex seen some changes in recent past. Advanced tech make things better and easy. Huge rush making things to sort out in hurry, which need to focused as past. One more thing where some focus required is on Insurance departments/process, No proactive responses on emails without follow-ups or personal visit and also the amount to be refunded back to Insured is more than week time after amount received from Insurance department which need to be quicker.

Minimum waiting time, doctors give adequate time, listen to their patients and help out, support staff is very soft spoken and always ready to help.all over a good experience, will suggest every family member and friend to visit this hospital in case of eye related problem.and doctors have good reputation and their operations are very successful

This Eye Care Hospital is Best as per my overall experience. I availed treatment for my mom's both eyes Cataract Surgery in Privileged OPD & both times it was done Good & Smoothly.

Specially Thanks to Surgeon Dr. Sucheta Kulkarni who did both eyes Cataract Surgeries of my mom. She did both Surgeries very Professionally & Carefully & my mom didn't suffer any harm or pain during & after Surgery.

If possible pls open OPD in PCMC areas because it is the more convenient for follow up after the surgery.
Only one request from my side need to handover laboratary reports to the patient for his/her understanding & reference and make sure all documentation kept in one file at the time of discharge time.

I had my LASIK surgery in November 2019 with Dr. Mukesh Paryani. It was a very smooth process and all the pre-surgery checks were handled efficiently. The Doctor was very helpful and patient, answering all my queries and ensured I was calm and relaxed before proceeding with the operation. The surgery lasted ten minutes and was extremely effective. All post op care was also great and I would recommend the Doctor and his team!

Very good eye care facility in Pune. They have latest technology equipments at very reasonable priced services. They have in house optical store as well which is also very reasonable and very competitive with market.

They are trying patients as guniea pigs and inexperiend interns checking eye and then the experience dr comes in if you are lucky and then they repeat same steps. H V DESAI. YOUR INSURANCE DESK IS NOTHING BUT FRAUDSTERS The most pathetic Hospital and the insurance help desk is a complete fraud. The hospital forces you to pay cash even after the cashless amount is approved and when you deny to pay cash they put the surgrey on hold. The hospital or the management is not ready to give it in writing nor they are ready to pay the itemised bill.

We had to wait & did followed the required procedure but did find there is no such serial number given & I did observe there were many who had come after me but managed to enter before me.

The receptionist or the person who is make the case paper is not talk properly with patients, he are talking with aggressive behaviour. So please improve and teach some communication skills and how to treat patients. Leave your personal problems on home don't tell us that i was traveling from Daund. I don't care where are you coming from. Literally he told in front of me to other guy. OMG

It's a very good hospital for eyes. First time fees for kids Rs: 150/- and adult Rs: 50/- only. You need to go through 2-3 eyes test to get the better results.

Opd is disorganized and handled by students.

After checking the final paper signed by optrimatric only instant of certified ophthalmic dr, and doctor are not seeing the patients.

The eye number, diagnosis too signed by them with forged signature of consultant dr.

Within the complex, you can find an optician house, and pharmacy that also are low-cost affairs.
