Absolute customer harassment. Forced to pay service charge when it is illegal under government guidelines unless voluntary. The manager was very rude and definitely ruined the brand name.

Vijay was really helpful.we are really happy with the food and the service.

Con: The guy forced us to pay service tax which is very wrong he said this much amount u can afford and wasn't ready to remove service tax despite of telling him 2/3times instead he started forcing us to that u have to pay. Quantity of fries was less

We had imported and Indian whiskey as well as Heineken beer. The food was amazing, to wind up we had cheese cake which was awesome and best cheese cake i have tasted in Mumbai. Monty and his team did an outstanding job, so much so we ordered cheese cake home delivery. Will be visiting again this weekend.

A decent place to spend time with friends, they have great offers during the happy hours although I have noticed that the taste of the food is not exactly very consistent across branches.
I had tried the meat sizzlers (average taste) and the apple meads.

I had this experience of severe cramps and diarrhoea after eating mushroom in oyster sauce with fried rice with extra mushrooms. They have to be more careful with easily perishable food items. Scared to again there

It was best experience, really good staff, and best thing was one of them suggested me a good mocktail and it's my fav now if you love orangy taste then you should try peach& passionfruit juice. (Suggested).

They don't put on the sites that the last order will 730 pm atleast the last thing they put on the sites

Pop Tate's in Malad has a great ambience and interior, I loved the old movies theme.

We ordered a Farm House pizza and Paneer Makhanai sizzler.
Pop Tate's is known for it's pizza but it was an absolute let down. Cheese was old and chewy. The pizza was dripping in oil.
The red sauce lacked flavour and the overall taste was bland.
Farmhouse Pizza- 4/10

Now for the Paneer Makhanai sizzler with Mexican rice. It was AMAZING, everything on the sizzler complimented each other and the taste was superb. I would recommend going for the Fried Rice instead of Mexican rice honestly it tasted kinda bland. So we poured the Makhanai sauce in the rice.
The Paneer was absolutely SOFT. Best ever.
Paneer Makhanai- 8/10.

We also had drinks, which were bland and tasteless. Don't waste money on their Iced teas.

The place was packed and thats what they known for. But the food, must tell you needs a knock on the cooks mind. Ordered for Grilled Chicken Tikka, which was served without any kind of salad and just the mint dip. 6 mediocre pieces that were ice cold when served. My friend told the manager and he told he will get a fresh one made. Now for a fresh one it definitely would take 15-20 mins. But to our shock we received it in 5 minutes and we realised it was the same thing that was re heated. Really unacceptable. Though they canned it from the total bill, still this is not how you actually serve your service to a customer.

The staff at this restaurant is very good with their recommendations. The food was very tasty and the service was quick. Great place to spend your weekends.

The place is good, the food is satisfying and the staff is friendly. The place is open for dine in and takes order till 3: 45 pm

Very sad that these guys take a reservation the previous day and when you go there ask you to wait for 1.5 hrs. Why would you confirm a reservation in the first place. It was my 12 yr old daughters birthday which she wanted to celebrate with her 5 friends specifically at your venue. Thank you for ruining my child’s birthday. Just because your overcrowded and in demand you deny your old and loyal customers.
Spoke to the manager Vinod and he wasn’t of any help either, I feel this was complete lack of communication and incompetence on part of your Restuarant. If you are overbooked it was your duty to call your customers and inform them. Not wait for them to come to your restaurant with 6 small kids and deny them a BIRTHDAY lunch. Never been so upset and irate. Least I can do is to write the review and not even give you a one star. Sad they don’t have a ZERO.

One thing is for sure is that you lost a customer who has been coming to you since years together. Coz you ruined my child’s birthday.

If you can’t live up to your commitments than don’t put your offers on Dineout or any other app.

Peri peri chicken sizzlers taste has changed not what we ate earlier. Overall good. Good staff very courteous. Other food was good. Will definitely recommend this place

Food menu has been reworked. Food is good as usual but there was delay in serving. It lead to drop in food temperature. Manager was courteous and he apologized.
Second concern is of portioning of food. It is not enough compared to pricing. This needs immediate attention to avoid loss of business.

Aah! It's pop tates after all. Malad andheri dosent matter. Check with rajendra (sr.manager) or vinod (manager) for a cool experience. The place is located at the junction of midchowky (malad) above zenith hospital. Pasta, sizzlers (spicy) pop tates fried chicken, jalapeno cheese balls are a must try. Check with Prakash for the best table service. Go there and have a blast. Thanks to all the staff out there to make this an memorable experience.

Bizzare experience - slow at taking orders, half the menu items unavailable, all cheese based dishes unavailable, food quality substandard

The service was not as good as expected. Maybe the restaurant did not have enough staff (Covid restrictions possibly). The food was okayish. Not the type of experience you would expect.

We need to ask for chilled beer! They will ask to vacate and give bill before time.we understand it is lockdown but 30mim before lockdown rule are you serious!

Service of the waiters not good. They were rude at the start itself.pathetic service. We came to dine in for sizzlers.rice was not at good, French fries all burnt black veggies were burnt, the chicken stake was hard, even the mashed potato was no good.never returning to this place again.

Had 3 sizzlers- the garlic chicken sizzler and two peri peri sizzlers. They were so amazing with great amount of chicken. It was so hot so tasty so spicy. If your looking out for something in spicy and nice amount of chicken do try the peri peri sizzler. Even had the butter chicken rice and roti combo. Tasted amazing. For dessert, we had new york cheesecake and chocolate truffle. They were both great. Only didnt like the capsicum filling in the sizzler. The stuffing inside was kinda bland. The mocktails were good but the strawberry one could be slightly sweeter. Overall my experience was good and the captain managed my order well and even explained it to me well!

Foods ok. Small place and too many people. Not for conversations. Staff is warm and courteous. Covid measures are weak not as place stays packed during weekends.

Very laid back attitude of waiters, not even giving food plates we had to ask for it. Dishes taking time is ok we were waiting for 15 to 20 mins for our drinks too.pop tates Malad should improve there catering services.

A very great place for a birthday party or a family outing drinks are cheap and food is delicious, worth ever penny, as it is a family restaurant you won't have a dance floor other than that it's amazing and beautiful

The place has the cheapest of the alcohol.

Off late the staff has changed/rotated so can be bit off with food and time of delivery.

But overall a good thumps up.

Pop Tate's is one of my favourite restaurent to visit. Everything over here is just perfect. The vibe is very cool over here. Great staff too. I always enjoy non vegetarian dishes here. The caramel custard is outstanding over here. Must visit. The price range is a bit high though but worth it.

Onion rings could've been better other than that cheese garlic sticks, cheese garlic bread, paneer steak sizzler, sizzling brownie everything was on point.

Good place to hang out. Just that our last visit we experienced the starters quantity was pretty reduced compared to our earlier visits. Else the taste was really good!

I have been here before and used to like the place. But Poptate's at Malad Mit Chawki could not live up to it's expectations any more.
All the food that we ordered, whether it was the Mexican Burger, Pizza or an Appetizer it was all below average in terms of taste.
Music used to be good over here, but now that too has been lowered down and all that we could hear was commotion and loud chatter.
I would not recommend this place to visit anymore
