Ordered pav bhaji, aloo parantha and sweets.
Everything was really good but the aloo parantha which they call famous was not as tasty as aloo parantha does. I don’t recommend at all and if you are ordering pav bhaji then tell them to serve hot otherwise you will not get the real taste of it. And the atmosphere was good and it’s worth the visit this place.

Amazing place, we ordered chole bhatura and pizza, both were of good quality. The ambience is awesome.

It’s has very amazing vibes. You can also go to there library, it has amazing film movies that you would find easily.

Best place with best people. The atmosphere here is too quiet and calm. The food tasted too good and the price was also less. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone

The ambience and food was very good no doubt.all problem goes to the staff and service especially that man (in 30s I guess) who manages orders with an old mobile or tab or whatever that is.he is was very rude and weren't listening to us or anyone there properly.but guess what.the moment some hot chicks come in.he's all over them and trying to arrange everything for them at priority (no those girls didn't had any kinda reserved seat)
The manger should fire him immediately!
But in any case if you have good amount of free time you must go to enjoy food and the environment there as it's really good

Catered by prithvi theater, Prithvi cafe is must visit, kinda Boho vibe cafe. They served sandwich in disposable dried leaves plate which was something I liked personally. It has amazing vibe, It is not only aesthetic but quite functional as well, its an outdoor cafe that you must visit if you happen to be in vicinity or if you plan to visit prithvi theater.

This is a open air café and a very casual space. The menu offered is basic and reasonably priced. With the Prithvi theater right next door, the clientele is a mix of theater goers and students looking for a filling meal at affordable price. The service is pretty slow and seating limited.

Edit: Went to this place again after 4 years and looking back at my previous review, I must say that what I said back then was accurate. The service is still slow and the seating limited.

Very vibrant and cozy atmosphere. Food is great. They have a QR code at the entry, you need to scan the code, fill all the details and wait for your turn. They will message you, once a table is free for you.

One showcase window to know that you are in the city of dreams. The Mumbai theatre culture with ambition in every eye. The energy is very very very high and the place is bustling with activity and sumptuous food

The place is good, calm and soothing, the staff is also co-operative. There is also a small library within the premises. Next to it is Prithvi Theatre. It is a good place to hangout and have a gala time.

Go to this place only if you have all the time in this world. They take 45 minutes to serve 1 dish. And moreover the waiter says "itna time to Lagta hi hai na"

Also, the waiter justifies saying that "as we have started online system to take orders, it's taking too long". Who in this world adapts technology to cause delay in service? It should infact reduce the service time!

Now.after exactly 45 mins when the food comes, it seems to be some other dish and the manager starts justifying that they have changed the brand of cheese that's why the dish looks different!

Pathetic to the extremes! Highly overrated

We tried cheese kulcha and egg bhurji pav which were very good. Service is fine. Ambiance is decent.

The place is really peaceful and friendly, you get to meet new people a lot and hang out with them. And the food is different from usual cafés and there's more variety

Too crowded always

Prithvi Cafe apart from being an icon of Mumbai and it's culture, has been a hub of people's memories, including mine.
Been here since I was a college kid, pocket friendly experiences over chai and Parathas (Still miss their Thai curry Maggi!). And now, 8 years on I still return, it gives a sense of home.
Always on top of my list for when I am showing Mumbai to outsiders.

Mumbai ka classic institution. Plays are rare these days with pandemic. But cafe food is great. Love sitting outside and savouring delicious food. Coffee is a must try. Falafels are awesome.

We can't begin to tell you how beautiful Prithvi Cafe is. You probably already have it all figured out. But we cannot stop ourselves from feeling overwhelmed every time we visit this dreamy place. Prithvi cafe and theatre is a place where the artists are celebrated, apart from serving some delicious food, kadak cutting chai and its famous Irish coffee

If you're wondering what to gorge on, we're giving you a plethora of options because choosing just one was difficult for us too.

Had heard so much about the ever famous Prithvi Cafe, and just had to ensure I visited here when I was at Bombay. Prithvi Cafe, about a kilometre away from Juhu Beach, is a sight for sore eyes. It is beautiful, with wooden tables, and fine lighting and colorful strips of cloth used for decor. It was extremely packed when we went for lunch, and had to wait for around 30 mins to get our table. Since it is attached to the theatre, we spent some time looking at the stalls, and the events they had going on then. When we finally got our table, we were starving and ordered quite a bit! The nachos for starters, the pasta, hummus salad, pav bhjai, and kokkum coolers for the table. The service was a little slow, despite the use of ipads for taking orders. The pasta was very average.but the hummus salad - yummy, and the pav bhaji, tastier. The nachos were good starters, but the talk of the hour were the kokum coolers, that were extremely refreshing, and healthy, and the perfect solution for a hot afternoon at Juhu. We wanted to end out meal with the ever famous vertigo cake, but it was out of stock. So we had to settle for thewaffles, that were a slight disappointment. Overall, the food was great and lumpsum in quantity as well. The prices were extremely reasonable, and definitely worth the wait. Wish the service could improve a little, but otherwise, cant wait to go back to Mumbai to visit Prithvi Cafe, and try their smokey hot Aloo Parathas.

I have been to Prithvi Cafe a few times now which is located in Juhu. The ambiance is pretty good, but it only has an outdoor seating which makes this cafe more unique. It's cosy, and has a brilliant atmosphere. If you're planning to visit Prithvi Cafe, it is advisable to pre-book your table as the cafe is quite busy especially during the evening and night time. So to avoid long queues, pre-book your table if you wish to go for quick bites or dinner. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Let's talk about the food now! The food at Prithvi Cafe is so scrumptious, one can choose from North Indian or Italian or fast food. They also have amazing starters like garlic bread, nachos, etc. Order Amritsari aloo kulcha or chilli cheese paratha to experience the North Indian flavour. Pizzas don't have many options for vegetarians but Veggie delight is one of my favourites here. Order a Virgin mojito or the best can be a Beer bottle chaas which is damn tasty! The cafe is budget friendly as well. So what are you waiting for? Call up your friends and make an impromptu plan and eat your heart out at this beautiful cafe!

Must Book your Table before visiting as this place crowded. Reasonably lower rates in comparison to other Cafe. Their Paratha's were delicious and palatable.

Great place with a decent vide and typing crowd everywhere with amazing ambience. This place is full of writers and poets and directors. Always will you find some or the other actor wandering around. If u go don't forget to have Irish Coffee they serve. Yes getting down there on a weekend may let u wait for hours but a pleasant evening won a weekend with your friends having a sip of coffee and some random talk will make your day cheerful in that place. Do watch some plays also if u are fond of them.

You have to try the chai and chilly cheese Parathas here. The place has a cozy ambience and the staff is polite. If you are planning to visit the theatre, keep an extra hour to enjoy a cherishing meal here. Try to visit on weekdays or early evenings to avoid unnecessary waiting time!

It's an amazing place. I really love the ambience and food is delicious too. I would love to visit this place always. Just an update that it has too much rush in holidays and weekends so please ensure to reserve your table in advance. If not then be ready to visit the beautiful beach in the waiting time.

After a quick walk at the Juhu beach, I was looking out for an option to spend some quality time with my friend. I had heard a lot about this place, known as the Prithvi Café. This place is a gem when it comes to having the perfect ambience. Open air settings with artistic decorations and live music playing by, This is not a place to be missed when on a date. Just near to the Juhu area this place is always crowded by a lot of youth people and the food served here is also good. I did not found many Jain options there but was lucky to hog on a pizza and had some Mocktails. I would not say that the taste is great, it was worth eating but the ambience made it up for all and is worth visiting when you need a mood set up.

Best place to hangout with friends or to spend some Me time with books. Love the ambience, great food & drinks options. Love the Chai, Mojito and Aloo Paratha. They also offer some great desert options. Must visit

The Food Was Good, No Doubt, The Ambience Was Great, Great Place To Hangout, But What Turned Me Off Was The Delay In Service, The Customer Service Was Very Poor. First They Didn't Inform That What I Ordered Was Unavailable I Had To wait for half hour to only know in the end that it was unavailable. Also The Starters Came last With Half Hour Delay. So Food Was Delicious But There Is No Point ain Having Good Food If You Can't Enjoy It Properly, And It Killed My Whole Mood And Had To Go Through Inconvenience For Payment After They Cancelled My Order Even Without Informing Me And There I Was Waiting For Food. My Day Was Very Tiring And Had Empty Stomach And I Go There And Experience This It Killed My Mood And Plus My Partners Mood Also. So Overall My Experience Was 1 Star. If I Could Give -1 i would give that, I Hope They Look Into This And Make Sure This Does Not Happen To Anyone Else

Staff is courteous. The penne pasta in pink sauce was fabulous. I liked the Aloo kulchha too. I would not recommend the pav bhajii as there was no tinch of spice.

Prithvi Cafe is quintessential Mumbai experience! Its chilled out and amazingly crowded with people of all ages throughout the day. Its not so small but its too cosy and comfortable. Its easy on the pocket and just amazing for the palette. Their stuffed kulcha, pizza, Chaas, sulemani chai, Irish coffee and brownies are just legendary.
And it adapted amazingly well to the pandemic with an end to end digital experience. You just have to scan to get your place in the queue. Similarly you can order and pay via the QR code on the table. You just don't need to talk to any waiter!
It has this charm which makes you visit again and again for ever.

Prithivi Cafe is perhaps easily one of the most lovely places to hangout. It certainly is a place for the young at heart - age no bar.

The food and beverages menus is good too. I like the Irish Coffee here. But what's really special about the place is the open air and the ambience (check out my pics and video) which elevates the vibe over here to a different level.

One of the most iconic places in Mumbai.a must visit for every Mumbaikar and also for the ones visiting Mumbai. The ambience gives you a nostalgic feel of the old Bombay and the food is worth every penny. A cafe just beside the theatre, it's amazing.

Good place to relax alone or chill with bunch of friends. Open sitting arrangements with beautiful arranged seats. They had wide variety of snacks like puffs, tea, coffee, croissants, rolls and sandwiches. Being in prithvi theatre premises is plus point as you can see one of the iconic theatre in the city and munch on together.
