Pune University Main Building

There's a korean art special exhibition going on with 30 Korean artists and their artworks. It was a beautiful show, with tremendous enthusiasm for art and tradition. Must visit.

Pune university a renowned University all over the country, student from each part of the world pursing their academic in the university. The knowledge center is well preserved by the committee. The main is such a great architecture that gives us idea about British era. The university is spread over 440 acres having 40+ different departments and my one of the favourite IUCCA research center. There is lot of greenary in the campus along with statues of the great personalities.
The place is just full of calm and peace without having any disturbence. A great university.

Awsome experience. The monument is maintained very well. We were lucky to meet Mr. Sagar Naik who is doing his PHD in cricket and decolonisation with sp.referance to India and West Indies. He took us through the entire University building.

From a student point of view, their tasks related to students are very punctual. Many people are commenting on their exteriors like building and environment but they don't know the truth of their interior things. Get the experience by staying here for 3 years of graduation. One of the main attractive places on the university SPPU campus is the main building. Main tourist attractions in pune. Center of all activities initially, now under care and control. Garden in and around with statue of Punyasloke Savitribai Phule adds to the beauty of the building. Lawns with unique tree of kailashpati are too good

सावित्रीबाई फुले पुणे विद्यापीठाची मेन प्रशासकीय इमारत ही परीक्षा भवनाच्या शेजारी आहे गेटमधून आत आल्यानंतर साधारण दीड किलोमीटर पर्यंत इमारत आहे अतिशय चांगल्या स्थितीत बांधलेली या इमारतीमध्ये ऐकू येसी परीक्षा भवन आणि इतर विभाग आहेत बँक ऑफ महाराष्ट्र बँक ऑफ महाराष्ट्र चे एटीएम सुद्धा शेजारीच आहे.

One of the oldest structure in pune. Need more proper preservation and care. Beautiful stone structure with huge garden.
Respect the place and try to maintain decorum of the monument. Open for all at 15 August every year.

The SPPU administrative building bore a very interesting lighting display on the occasion of India's 75th Independence Day.

This building in Ganeshkhind used to be the monsoon residence of the Governor of Bombay during the British Raj. The basalt architecture has been surprisingly well preserved.

The hall is often used for performances. Several notable artists have held concerts here. The massive, low-hanging chandeliers add an old charm to the hall.

In honour of Savitribai Phule, the institute has placed her statue in front of the edifice. In my opinion, it is a wholesome reclamation of the site. A reminder of colonial power has been repurposed to honour a pioneer of education in Maharashtra.

Pune university is the peaceful place, everywhere are big trees n the campus is spread in kilometers, so u cant hear any noice of vehicles.

One of the best university. The area is aprox 20-27 acre whole. There consist all the educational faculties like arts, commerce, science, and all. There consist a main building which is well developed old building which is from British empire to till. Consist parking, canteen, ground, garden. If you to see the university then you must a bike. You cannot see this all things by walking. Nice place, peaceful, nature and environment. Garden and all things are well maintained.

Place is so quite nice, specially thing to notice is there is huge cannonball tree in front of main building. Overall it's good and nicely maintain place

Great place with education and cultural heritage. The main building is a Symbol of old yet strong cultural heritage. The campus is pretty large and huge. You will find all kinds of facilities and even toilets at frequent distances from one another.

University of Pune now known as Savitribai Phule Pune University.very nice place to visit and to have a walk with family and friends on weekends.nice green grass and trees around the main building.entry inside the main building is restricted, but the surrounding is beautiful.

Really walking around. Good place to chat around and hangout. Is opened to All. Mostly post grad. Courses are here and wide variety of courses are present. Hostel facilities and canteen facilities are also present

Pune University is one of the oldest University in Pune, India. The University offers mostly every courses available from engineering to medical or normal graduations. The education and the faculty are very good, they are providing the best knowledge to the students, Placement services are also very good.
