Mahendra was opening the foreign exchange shop early in the morning, which was very helpful to me since I was in a hurry to get to the airport for a flight. Also they give small bills, which is helpful for buying at small shops. Having small bill, like 20 rupees, is convenient for buying chai and street food. This is a good shop for people to use when transiting the airport and staying in hotels in the area.

Had a very nice experience. The person is very helpful and offers very competitive rates, usually profitable than other vendors. Highly recommend to buy/ sell forex to him. Trustworthy.

The guys there were friendly and the rate was decent although I didn't look around the area to see if there was something better. The owner was nice enough to give me smaller 200 rupee notes as opposed to the 2000 notes which are really difficult to use throughout the country. The booth is a bit in the open so be aware if you're like me and feel uncomfortable with large stacks of cash in the open for all to see. Finally, if you need some spare parts for your autorickshaw, this is your man to come to. ;)
