It’s a pure veg restaurant and the Special thali is amazing. In Pune, this is the best veg thali one can have:) The phulkas (tawa chapati) are yum and the chaas (butter milk) is a must have. Paneer Green Garlic starter was also great! Veg Hakka Noodles we’re just fine. You can get it a lot better at other places. Location: Camp, Pune
One of the finest Veg restaurant in Pune. Previously known as 'Bhagat Tarachand' now known as Sahana. Food quality and taste is just awesome. All veg dishes are with unique taste you won't find anywhere. Must try items - Papad Chura, Paneer Angara, Veg Dehati, Buttermilk, Desi ghee chapati and all desserts. Veg lovers must try and non veg lovers will surely fell in love with this place in first try only.
Food is awesome, tried biriyani and it was great. General is very poor had to order a bottle of water. Paid parking is available outside and there is no free parking.
It is a amazing place for family dinner or lunch. Do order there butter chapati and there a secret menu sabji (veg Aalishaan) Good service and friendly staff
The place is ideally set in the market fun and interesting and love the ambience and service the food was really yummy. Coming to the place with a big family with varied taste and all liking it is something else.
Very decent place for families and catching up with friends. Good service. Portion size is big. We ordered Tomato soup, Paneer hilltop and Veg Biryani - amounted to 889. Great taste and great experience.

I recently visited the Sahana Veg Restaurant in Pune, and I can confidently say that it is the best food I have ever had! From the incredibly flavorful curries to the freshly-baked naan, every bite was a delight. The restaurant has an extensive menu with an array of vegetarian options, so there was something for everyone. The restaurant also offers excellent customer service. The wait staff were more than happy to guide us through the menu and suggest dishes that we would enjoy. Overall, my experience at Sahana Veg Restaurant was top-notch! If you're looking for delicious vegetarian food in Pune, this is definitely the place to go!
Awesome ambience with superb quality hygiene foods with courteous staffs. Nice place to visit. I recommend my friends to visit at once to see the quality
Sahana is really good choice for vegetarians. I visited East Street, Camp. One has to do parking on road and it's paid one. But once you reach Sahana, you will exprience good ambience, hygine and ample of siting is available. Butter Chapati (Roti) is their USP, it will cost you Rs. 49 per piece, but it is so soft if you put in your mouth it will melt like a ice cream. In the food they have good variety, let it be starters or main course. I found their preparations are different and differentiate them from others. I tried Veg Crispy and one paneer starter, two Punjabi sabji. Every item was tasty. Dal makhani needs improvement. Service is quick. Rates are little on higher side, but worth to pay. Do visit once.
Absolutely useless. Manager staff is very rude. I think success has gone into her head. Wherein original Bhagat Tarachand was very good. Should not visit
Amazing taste and Quality We ordered the Thali (wanted to try Dal bhati thali but it's only available on weekends) Each dish in the thali was good.the Ghee chapathi were just excellent Then we ordered chana masala and more chapatis.very satisfied with the food.will definitely visit again
The ambience and food was very good here and the service by staff is quick and responsive. The food options are quite a lot and even for jain there are many options
We went there as a group of 10 people. The ambience is good and the quantity of food is also good. Overall food taste is average, it's more hyped. Though you must try the chapatis there!
The taste was good, prices were justified, ambience was very good and decent. Especially try their: •Kicha Chulli •Double tadka daal (or some similar name) •Paneer Angaara •Crushed Butter Chapati
Would've given a 5 star only but they took a little more time in serving, and there was no option of 4.5 otherwise it would've been that.
