Awesome food. Very quick service.
Staff is very polite.
Surmayi fish is amazingly delicious.must must try. And pomfret is also mouth watering.

Food quality is very good Atmosphere is not fine no parking for this hotel my suggestion is Hotel like Sanman need to move big place so as to more people will take test nice quality of sea food.

We took 2 surmai thali and pomfret fry. The surmai thali was awesome in taste and was prepared in coconut oil, even the kokam and coconut milk based pink coloured desert type dish was delicious. Nice AC and non Ac vibe available. Parking a bit problem but it is near to beach just 600m from alibag beach, you can just walk n reach. Waiters are customer friendly and service is fast. Hygienic and clean place. We didnt find waiting queue during this corona time.

Excellent fish served. Check for the local variety of Jitada/Chanak other than the usual Pomfret, King fish, Prawns. Solkadhi (an appetizer of Coconut milk and mangosteen ~ kokum/amsul) is tasty.

Being vegetarian, I'm highly disappointed by the food. Veg thali was average. My friends who had sea food, liked it a lot. This rating is for non-vegetarians.

This is one of the best places in Alibaug for seafood. I have tried almost all types of fish dishes here, and they are amazing. They even serve lobster (however, it is in curry form), which is mind-blowing. If you are die hard fan of seafood then I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Please do not waste your money here. Based on online review I visited this place with family. The food taste is just not upto the mark, fish curry, mutton, Chicken everything was tasteless. Only the pomfret fry was good.

One of the best place for fresh, Delicious n mouthwatering seafood in Alibag. Mostly crowded on weekend, but its worth waiting. Im visiting this place from my childhood, they have maintained there quality n taste till d date. Do visit whenever you r in alibag.

Earlier this joint didn't have AC area but recently (2 years), they opened up AC facility and that's gathering more crowd. The food is excellent, can't say that it's cheap - but then it's proportionate with the quality of food. People are good, the service is fast enough. You will have to wait on the weekends, - lots of crowd here.
If you are going to visit Alibag, you have to visit Sanmaan.

Awesome food. Not only non veg but even veg. If you are seafood enthusiast then so for fish thali. Fish fry are real good.

Ok good one for sea food lovers but others are equally good. Cost and service wise is also good. One should visit this for both lunch and dinner

Very famous restaurant for sea food in Alibag. All other food also delicious. This hotel is more than 40 years old. People from Mumbai, Thane, Pune are frequently visited only for gomantak food. Owner Mr Mangesh ji himself preparing masala for daily food. In sea food, Tisarya, kalav, Jitada are the famous attraction for tourist.

Great food but sadly you can't say the same for the restaurant's service. Took them quite long just to get us the menu card and even longer to take our order. Fortunately for this place the food here is worth every rupee. Their fried prawns are exceptionally tasty.

Location: It is very easy to identify and reach to the place.

Parking: There is little problem for parking car but bike can be easily parked.

Restaurant staff: I went there in simple clothes, so they underestimated me and it take little time for adjusting there with waiter after some time I managed to have control over waiter.
Service staff was polite and coordinated and was good by nature. It is old hotel

Test: if you are planning to visit this hotel must try non veg. Because non veg is awesome. After one month I am remembering the test of food. Fish food are also awesome.

Price: well it's little costly but quality is awesome.

There are few food item to sell there in corner which u can buy.

One of my favourites in Alibaug. By far this the best gomantak sea food place I have visited.
I love their Bombil Fry, Prawns Masala and Solkadhi.

Sea food is worth eating here. If you order extras other than thali it would be expensive. I would recommend to go only for fish.

Based on the ratings and popularity, we thought of giving Sanman restaurant a try and were satisfied with our dining experience. We tried the pomfret and surmai thali and were impressed with their preparation. The prawns masala was pretty tasty. Even the vegetarian food was equally good. They have both AC and non AC section, but there might be waiting time over the weekend as the restaurant gets really busy. It's located in a lane, but they still arrange for a parking space for your car.
Compared to Mumbai seafood restaurants, the prices are reasonable but I won't say that the preparation are better. But when in Alibaug, I would recommend you to try out this restaurant.

The place was not at a good location. Food was okay. And if u r a Sol Khadi lover, I don't recommend it to you. It was too salty. But Pomfret Rice Plate was good.

This is a must try restaurant for Sea food speciality. Their thali are well priced and sufficient. Just a caution their vade are a bit on the heavy side. Prawns masala was amazing.

If you are looking for good konkani sea food then this is the place to visit. The restaurant is clean and the food served is tasty and well prepared. I would surely go here again on my next visit to Alibaug. The only negative point is that all items mentioned on the menu are not always available.

Thali system is offered, fish thali can be surmai or pomfret thali, includes pomfret fry, small prawns curry, pomfret curry, solkadi, rice, roti or bhakri and salad

Side dish mutton sukka, prawn fry, crab masala are also good, value for money
Place is really crowded on weekends, go early if you don't want to wait for a table

Don't expect a great ambience, or fine n dine experience

Sea food lover if you in Alibaug and look for a better place for your stomach do visit. Nice sea food served. Can say 8/10 for the food and service. One must try when in the city of Alibaug. A good food served at a better price.

Food tastes too good.price is reasonable too.but the catch is portions are less.but I would recommend everyone to go here atleast once.

Fish fish and fish that all u get here.
For chicken lovers or veggies there is only one or two options.
But fish preparation are simply awesome

A very nice place in the heart of town of Alibaug to have seafood and other non veg items. The thalis are pretty cool and covers almost everything. Good place for family as well.

Very good option for non-veg lovers. You can also get fresh seafood here. Good quality is good and tasty too. No recommended for veggies as no enough options except rice place.
