Sarovar Portico, Lonavala

If thier was minus star i would love to give that but thier no so atleast 1 star i hav to give never ever will recommend to my friends n family my worst experience in life dont go for this hotel to bad means very bad

Small congested place. Avoid it if you want to relax. Breakfast has limited options.
Services are not prompt. Swimming pool is only for kids.
No greenery. Small rooms.

Wall has patches and holes.

The conference room is outside hotel and you have go walk there, outside the hotel in another building. The swimming pool is useful only for kids under 5-6 years.

Food too was not that good and had to eat salad most of the times.

No place for walk or play inside the hotel. I have visited many Sarovar Portico hotels and had good experiences but this one was the worst.

Parking space too is limited. Should be avoided if you can get a better place in the Same budget.
Hoping they would work on improving the services.

Good Resort, Good Food, Good Rooms.mids of city in Lonavala, swiming pool is very very small (looks like kids pool). Conference room is away from Hotel permises. Not sure good for vacation. Many of Photo posted at Google is not matching with actual site (as on Feb'23), specily Hotel front Landscape, and also conference room.

All good. Only drawback is no lift. Not good for elders as the dinning is in the basement with stairs a bit difficult.

I had a wonderful experience at the Sarovar Portico. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help!

This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway in Lonavala. The downtown area on Main Street is a best kept secret and the sarovar Portico offers everything you need if you don’t feel like venturing out.
That's one cute hotel for an escapade not far away. Unique design and cute walk-around makes this hotel a charming one. Contemporary rooms and a super cute swimming pool add to the charm. Food is good and does justice to the palate. Service is prompt and responsive. Would highly recommend this place.

Nice boutique hotel, tucked away from maddening tourist rush in lonavala, yet very much accessible to main market. Excellent rooms and courteous staff makes it a vallue for money stay. Though there is scope in elaborating on meals spread, as at times people do feel it's limited.

Good hotel. Good food. Only issue is it is far from market and other tourist spot. Transport is big issue here. Situated in some village surrounded by bungalows

Food is good but for room service is not good even during lunch n dinner raw water was served in Bisleri bottles. Many of my colleagues got sick after having it

Nice place but feels very enclosed. The spa wasn't available which would have been a nice to have. Place was very clean and tidy. Rooms very well maintained. In a very quite environment.

Quite and seclude place to enjoy peaceful weekend vacation. Excellent desk and room service. Small but clean and cool swimming pool. Excellent restaurant. Superbly kept rooms with excellent air-conditioning. Clean bathrooms. Best of all it seems most economical especially in offseason times. Highly recommended for small families.

Not good when compared with the other portico hotels. Very small property. Food spread was very limited for the cost of the buffet.

The place seen in the pics looks quite spacious, it's not the case.
Room service was very poor. Telephone in the room was not working even after complaining about it many times they didn't bother to fix it. We had to go to till the reception to ask for services.
Extra bedding provided by them is not very good.
We had booked this hotel as it's a sarovar group of hotels but the quality is not as per the brand name.

Friendly staff, hotel location is good and accessible both by road and rail, food quality was good but was little expensive, lots of good options in breakfast, rooms was nice and clean, main market is near from hotel hardly 5 min by bike.

Cozy place in interior of Lonavala. But still apporacheble from old Mumbai Pune highway. Staff shows willingness to serve. Good food. Small but clean room. Ideal for one night stay or if you want to have some silence time for self.

A short description (knowing many other properties of this chain) would be - A tiny hotel. With only children's pool (that's what I would call it, why even they have pool, the bath and wash area of pool was found dirty with dead roaches which scared my daughter to go and take batch before and after using pool) and really small Bathroom (separated bath area, but it end up splashing entire bathroom floor).

Otherwise Room was as per standard. We liked the nicely done furtintures. Bed and pillows were soft.

Parking wasn't sufficiently available keeping in mind a lot of people come to this place driving from Pune and Mumbai.

Having stayed here, wouldn't come back.

Pool is small as well as the play area but otherwise it's a lovely property and the staff is very polite and very humble.food and service is excellent.rooms size is quite big.

The rooms are good and cosy but the room was not ready when we arrived. Even though the check in time is 1 pm and we arrived more than hour late the room was still not ready. Breakfast is not included either. There are better options half the price of this one. Food menu isn't that great either. Very limited options.overall a below average experience.

Being a chain it maintains certain values, amenities and hygiene which is good. Its a good mid range property with basic amenities and a small pool, parking place, decent size of room. It is located in the inner road and not on main road. Jus 5 mins from main road in car. If one has a planning to roam around lonavala and khandala then you can opt for this property.

Doesn't have liquor license till now. Otherwise room service and restaurant serving very fast. One more thing they are bit costiler after considering rooms ambience compare to same price hotels here in lonavala.

Definitely one of the best location for you to stay at if you visit lonavala, I personally found it well kept with good staff and good hotel experience, the staff is good and so is the ambience with a open fish pond in the front of the hotel, it also has a small open temple in the small lawn, very lovely atmosphere for a family, must recommend places

We had been their for New year celebrations. Located in a peacful yet homely environment, the staff and GM Mr. Samik makes you feel comfortable in their best ways. The food is awesome they may keep some more buffet options in their breakfast menu. We would love to visit again. Thanks.

While the rooms are cosy the service isn't that great. Restaurant timings are not good but the food is yummy. Pool is very small.

The rooms were spacious and service prompt and caring. Can do with a better dining menu and amenities of a larger pool. The noise of the kitchen exhaust is disturbing otherwise rest is good
