The quality has gone down also the prices are very inflated they are selling a 20 rs water bottle at 50 rs

I had been yesterday to this Shalimar branch. Went for street shopping was damn hungry ordered chicken Afghani, mutton curry, roti n chicken biryani. I can’t explain via words about the food. One of the best food I have ever had till date. It’s delectable and mouth watering. Didn’t take any pics as was so hungry and just attacked the food. I would recommend everyone to surely have food here

Amazing delicious food, very clean and comfortable seating with AC and nice decor. Extensive choice of items on the menu. Biryani was delicious, also tried the chilli chicken and veg manchurian.

An Indian restaurant on Muhammad Ali Street. The restaurant consists of two floors, the ground floor is without air conditioning and the first floor is with air conditioning. Its atmosphere is good and is useful for families. Their service is very excellent, especially the employee Irfan, who is very helpful and knows how to speak Arabic.

Shalimar will never disappoint you. Ordered Afghani Chicken with rumali roti, it was super tasty.

It's very expensive agar aap 300 ki sandwich lete ho to usme aapko 50gm chicken bhi nahi milta hai.kya bakwas hai

Tried the Basket Chat, Tandoori Chicken Sandwich and Cheesy Tandoori Chicken the best cheesy chicken i ever had. Also tried the Wonton Momos

Nice & clean hotel. Especially suitable for nonveg lovers. But the prices is on higher side.

One of the oldest places at mohs ali road for mughal and othe cuisines. Biriyani is the star dish here which is a must have. The kebabs are excellent too along with many of the mughlai gravy dishes. Avoid the falooda out here it's the worst.

This restaurant is having all types of and varieties of dishes and noce for the family's.

The starter was amazing but I am not happy with the main course and desserts.

The atmosphere is fine. Service is a bit slow. Overall 3.5-4 out of 5.

Great Ambience Great Interior Relaxing and Beautiful.
Food it's a bit expensive not very much but you get the quality and Taste for the money.

Very nice experience at Shalimar Restaurant. The restaurant has a very large seating capacity. The quality of the food was awesome as well as the taste.

This is the worst restaurant ever. I ordered one item and it took so long. It definitely took 2 hours or more than that. The delivery time is very very worst. Please focus on the delivery!

Very Famous Hotels to have Lunch/Dinner with Family. Very quick service. Food Portion was good. Kebabs/Biryani are must Try here.

One of the worst restaurant. When we got our table after waiting for half and hour the table was not cleaned by the staff and when we asked to clean the guy was cleaning it from his hand. Somehow we got settled down then we have ordered butter naan which was very cold. There was a hair in my plate. We have asked to chenge the naan and bring the fresh and hot butter naan and again we found lots of hair in naan. We were very hungry and then i asked to bring roti and again they gave us cold roti and this was not happened with us only there were 2 other families who were facing such problems again and again. We have ordered veg hot pot and the waiters brought non veg hot pot. Glasses were not clean.

One of the best restaurant in Mumbai to try if you are a foodie. You should try mutton dishes and mutton soup for sure. Chicken dishes are also very good and tasty.

Restaurant opens at 8.30AM and closes near 12AM. You'll get room near the restaurant for normal rates. Public transport is also available to reach the hotel.

We reached the restaurant at evening and had dinner from there. And tried mutton soup, mutton biriyani and mutton hungama sizzlers, mutton brain dishes and some drinks like falooda and pepsi.

The restaurant is in located in very crowdy market and you have to park outside the restaurant This is one disadvantage of this place. So of you sre planning to visit the restaurant, try to avoid private cars and better park them on any other places.

One of the best restaurant for family. Located in prime location and very easy to access. Limited parking place available when you in night times specially on weekends. Dastarkhan system is available and it is very comfortable. Food is awesome. You will find many varieties in moghlai, chinese and sizzlers. Specialized for Raan items. Also the choice for falooda.

The taste for price was too high you can get the same or better food in low price n quality of food was ok n rude staff.

I ordered crispy chicken and chicken brinay both are very bad test i don't even eat all brinay. Only thing is good is name of this restaurant and behavior of those people who serves.

We always come here for their very famous faluda and they never let us down.
The staff is really friendly and helpful. The place is kept clean and the service is fast.
Do try to taste their faluda's if you ever have the chance, they're reallyyy good.

Very bad experience with shalimar food and service was really bad they are very dominating even the floor manager the wearing kurta pyajama with glass doesn’t how to treat with customer make sure you will mention in your menu card waiting charge instead of asking customer unnecessarily make sure the higher management should consider and look at this.
You are in competitive world where there are mana restaurants available who care for the customer satification

Motton Do pyaza was tasteless and only 3 pieces of Motton with bones only.
Paneer masala is also tasteless and very much oily. Please don't buy.
Chicken shezwan fried Rice Rs275 and quantity is not enough for 2 servings.much less. Taste was also not good only smoky flavour I feel.

Food is average. I felt it is over rated. They must look into it. Falooda is no doubt outstanding but other moglai dishes were not as expected.

A very very huge restaurant. From outside it doesn't looks so huge but once you enter inside one will literally get lost inside. There are lots of dining rooms and party halls as well. Can't guess correctly but approximately 300 people can accommodate inside at same time. Food quality is best, tandoor and chinese is best. Prices are bit high. But the ambience and comfort is next level.

M giving zero start to shalimar hotel the worst hotel i have visited.they sitted us almost 30mins in waiting room than they placed us in dastarkhan we gave order after serving water and masala papad they told us to leave as time is over on the other table they are serving food.the behaviour of the manager is also very harsh.they have no manner to handle the cuustomer.kisiko khate hue plate se uthana kya sahi hai

I loved this place. Its very nice place to have anything you want to eat. The choice of dishes is Fantastic and have wide varieties of dishes. The place is sophisticated, clean and very beautiful. The interiors are amazing. I liked the food especially the dessert. Every dish is amazing. U can order anything you want. In dessert i would suggest you to go for Ferni.

It's the best resturant in South bombay if you are new in bombay you should visit this place And I'm sure you would love the food my favourite Pizza is chicken Alfredo if you are going there just order once chicken Alfredo pizza

The food was below average. We ordered chicken sizzler, chicken cheese kebab and chicken angara. Even average restaurants server better food than what we got here. Very disappointing taste.

This hotel is situated near mohamad ali road.typical muslim hotel. They have big setup they have 2 floors ground and first floor.

If you want to visit this hotel then be careful as they dont have parking space and since the hotel is situated near masjid bandar you cant park anywhewre traffice polic will constatnly come and toe your veihcle.

Hotel is very expesive and food taste is typival muslim cusin taste. They also have special sweet shop in the resturant. Mutton raan, chicken angara, kadhai chicken, rumali roti, falooda, mutton dalcha are must to taste.

The ambience is awesome however the food I ordered was highly disappointing! The tokri chat's tokri was smelly and stale. Also it wasn't assembled as described on the pic displayed. The pizza with extra cheese was lacking flavour.

Extremely Bad Experience. First they served non-veg food instead of veg food and when we informed the restaurant, they didnt even accept mistake. Then we found a pin in naan, which could have been fatal if eaten by mistake.

Good food. Clean place. If you are planning to visit on weekends make sure to have advance booking. Else be ready for long queue.

Worst management, I have ordered veg pizza n they delivered chicken pizza, they spoiled our religious beliefs, even they are saying that it will delivered in 30 mints n they took more then an hour, never order from Shalimar again.

Favourite place since childhood, have always been here to have chicken chilli with tandoori rotis and the falooda in the end.ambience over here is pretty much good and the only issue here is of Car parking but their watchmans do help for the parking.

This two star is only for paya soup awesome taste, but cant give another star because i had ordered tawa chicken, biryani and both dishes was totaly failed, i was searching masala in chicken biryani, having too much oil in tawa chicken.

Too much time to take away orders.almost took 1 hour just for taking 1 hot and sour soup for parcel. Did not expected this much delay. For management 0 star. But taste was brilliant so 2 star.

I ordered chicken biryani. And It's quantity was not enough even for a single person. And it was not authentic chicken biryani. I do not eat mutton but the biryani is mixed chicken and mutton. Staff is always looking for tips even if the food is not satisfying. I would like to shame on the owner he is just looting people and not doing justice in service and quantity. People going here I would suggest them to go Gulshan-e-iran restaurant on Muhammad Ali road. It's taste, quantity and fare much much better than bloody shalimar although it is crowded place but they have air-conditioned rooms upstairs. Please stop making stupid people famous. Like shalimar.

Good quality food and service. But you come here with lots patience and time. The estimated wait time here is around 1 hr excluding the time given for food preparation. There is a usual traffic at the main road outside the restaurant. Sometimes the waiting time exceeds to 2 hr.

Good but not that good it used to be. As a kid my family used to visit Shalimar restaurant a lot and we used to love it's food. On my recent visit, I did miss that taste. I like their chicken chilly but rest of the other dishes are mediocre. Falooda is over rated.

Tawa gosht pulav was awesome.but fruit salad with ice cream very costly n taste not so good.thought of returning it.fruit piei too big and not tasty.

Shamilar Restaurant is Awesome in its own way. Just Have Tried Arabian Raan Khapsa and It was Delicious Also It's Ice cream falooda Is yummy.

This is one of the best restaurant in this area, serving best of Mughlai, Tandoori dishes. It’s an all time favourite. The place is very congested at peak business hours. But the service is prompt. Food quality is excellent. Their Falooda is iconic and must have after any meal.

Pizza was awesome, service was pathetic too much delay in taking orders, bringing order and even for payment. I was pissed with the slow service which spoiled the mood.

Good food. Variety of a menu Different from a normal restaurant. So many different sections! What is admirable is their service in what seems to be a complex setup.

Good place to hang out with both family and friends. This place offers a variety of dishes and is one of the best places to eat in south mumbai. May have to wait at times in the waiting room as its full most of the times, but waiting is worth it. Closest railway station is Sandhurst Rd station. Limited two wheeler parking space around (my advice don't take a car in this place too much traffic to handle).

I came here specially to have mutton khichda because I really love it! I always had the homemade mutton khichda but thought of trying it through restaurant as well! It was creamy n cooked perfectly! The only thing I would say that the quantity was less according to the price charged! Great place for mughlai food!:)
