Quite familiar to people who travel Mumbai-Pune a lot. There are frequent buses available going to Pune. We prefer AC buses from comfort point of view. This bus stand is at walkable distance (approx 5-10 mins) from Dadar railway station at East side.
The bus stand ia right below the flyover bridge on the main road, which is quite a great idea to utilize space and not waste open land, which is hard to find in the middle of Dadar and nearby main road.
Really nice and quick working staff. You just need to go towards the ticket counter on the right, tell them your destination (I took a bus to Pune here) and they'll quickly give you a ticket and most probably the bus is already standing there, just get in and within 5-10 minutes you'd have departed for your destination.
Due to construction of the road near the bus stand, bus stop for state travel (except shivneri buses) and private buses is shifted at khodadad circle bus stop
Best place of MSRTC. INITIALLY well maintained and clean but now a days not maintained well. That's why people now prefer other commute preferences than Shivneri.
सिद्धिविनायक गणपतीमंदिर पासुन अगदी जवळ एअरपोर्ट पासुन साधारण एका तासाच्या अंतरावर आहे. एअरपोर्ट बाहेरुन टॅक्सी संघटना पाचशे रुपये तासाला या प्रमाणे रिसिट नी गाडी नंबर देते ड्रायव्हरला ठिकाण व आपल्या संदर्भ मेसेज जातो संघटनेची पोलिसांची लोकेशनवर करडी नजर आपल्या ड्रायव्हरवर असते. प्रवास तो सुरक्षित दादर बस स्टेशन पर्यंत झाला की बस रांगेत उभ्या असतात. बाजुला प्लॅटफाॅर्मवरुन पुढे एक केबिन आहे खाकी अधिकारी तुमचं तिकिट देतात तेच बस नंबर व सीट नंबर देतात तुमचं बोलणं ऐकतात परंतु सीट नशिबात येईल ती देतात एकटी महिलेला तिकिट आधुनिक बस प्रवासाच्या नियमांना लक्षात घेऊनच देतात बाजु सीट रिकामी असते नाहितर दुसरी महिलेला देतात. ड्रायव्हर कमालीचे ॲक्टिव्ह नी हुशार आहेत हे प्रवाशांच भाग्य गोष्ट अशी एका ड्रायव्हर ला मी विचारले अर्धातास झाला माझी गाडी येत नाही तर त्याने बस नंबर दाखवा सांगितले मी कागद दिला तो म्हणाला कोणा मुर्खाने हा नंबर दिला चला विचारतो नी त्याने सांगितला या नंबरची बसच नाही त्याने अधिकार्यांना झापलं चुक लक्षात येताच त्यांनी नंबर बदलुन दिला माझी बस रांगेत सर्वात पुढे उभी होती मला या गोष्टीच राहुन आश्चर्य वाटत व ते इथे नमुद कराव वाटत की हजारो बसेस मधे त्यांचा चारपाच नंबरी नंबर सुरुवात ९४ सारख्या एका नऊ मधिल विशिष्ट नंबर ने सुरु होत असताना माझा नंबर तसाच सिरिज मधे असुन त्या नंबरची बस नाही हे पटकन त्या बस ड्रायव्हर ने कसे ओळखले असेल? ग्रेट सैल्युट! हजरजबाबी ड्रायव्हर असावा हे महाराष्ट्र परिवहन मंडळाच सौभाग्यच! बस स्टॅंडच्या (रोड हाच स्टॅंड आहे) विरुद्ध बाजुलाच वाॅशरुम बाॅक्स लाकडी आहे पाणी भरपुर आहे टाॅयलेट इंडियन पद्धतीचे प्रशस्त स्वच्छ आहे आपल आपण पाणी ओतुन वैगरे मगच आत जावे कारण महिला पुरुष ना काॅमन असावे स्वच्छता छान आहे रक्षक बसलेला असतो जय महाराष्ट्र
This place has been revamped and now looks much better than it use to They have separated Ac and Non-Ac bus lanes You will find a lot of travel agency around this place to go to various places
I feel very sad to share that shivneri service have dropped down. Bus drivers are very arrogant, rough n rash in driving. Moreover they insist on halting at centre point lonavala which is the filthiest stop i have ever been. Ladies washrooms out of 6 3 are broken, 2 are always non functional so everyone has to go in the last one, n how can we go as it leakes frm top. Disgusting
Very convenient place to take bus from Mumbai to various places, they polite and helpful staff and they accept credit card also. Don't forget to collect your copy of newspaper and water bottle at the booking counter.
Good that it is taken under the bridge to avoid traffic. Irritating is the part for the customer who is travelling end to end on both sides. The bus makes frequent stops before reaching the end on both sides, which causes the bus to take service roads, off main roads and therefore signals and traffic. Now as I consider time as money, spending rs 440 for this leaves me irritated and tired at the end of the trip
A place of great help. Was returning from the airport at night. Had to go to pune. Boarded a Ashwamedh bus at 11.45 pm. I was happy to see a good bus service also available at midnight
Was expecting it tool be clean but embarrassed visiting the place. Buses are also dirty.you will feel like it’s you are sitting in garbage box. Hope they will soon renew it
Yes, it's literally a bus stand and not a bus terminus though it could well have been one. It's under the flyover and hardly any to none (no) sitting place. What one can and must give credit to Shivneri is that there are sever space constraints and in spite of that it runs on time and that's been so for over a decade or more. Buses are comfortable and they serve a small bottle of mineral water.
To Mumbai from Pune by Shivneri Bus Shivneri is a fort 90kms from Pune and is famous as the birthplace of Shivaji Maharaj. It is after this that the MSRTC has named its buses plying between Pune and Mumbai. There are 12 buses running daily and it has the reputation of good services. We boarded the bus to Mumbai on the 2nd of February 2019 at 6.00 a.m. At Pune Station Bus terminus which is adjacent to Pune railway station. The bus started at 6.30 a.m. And drove across the Sahyadri ranges crossing five tunnels and stopping at Lonavala for a break. At Lonavala we bought different kinds of chikkis to take home. We reached Maitri Park our destination at 9.30 a.m. From Maitri Park we took an auto to our relative's house in Chembur. The same evening we left Mumbai by Shivneri bus from Dadar. Though we were booked by a later bus the staff let us travel by an earlier bus. This time though our bus crossed by several suburbs and also the evening traffic was chaotic. We reached Pune station our destination in 4 and half hours. We recommend Shivneri services which are decent.
You can get air conditioned luxery bus to Pune run by state transport undertaking. One can go to Pune on and charged on seat basis.you can resetyor just walk-in.ost are walk-in customers. The frequency is very good. Every 15 minutes there is bus to Pune.
Good service.buses are also always on time generally.there are buses at almost every 15 - 20 mins.bit now they have made it too costly.it has become very expensive now.like prices of other bus services are much lesser than this.but service is good
Shivneri Service is Good but All Conductors & MSRTC is looting people they will directly give the tickets of the last stop (Swargate/Railway Station) but not the one where you want to get down, In this way they earn around 50-60rs on each ticket.
Very good 4 waiting halls including ac or fan. Charging points. Good wash rooms. Good staff. They give one news paper & a bottle of drinking water for Pune travel
Government Bus Services for Mumbai - Pune - Mumbai bus Journey. The buses are Scania Multi-Axle, and you have an AC slot to charge your electronics. Wait time is about 20-25mins max. The ticket cost varies from Rs480-Rs520. Private services like NEETA charge Rs300-400. The bus they have is Bharat Benz, again multi-axle. They also have AC slots for charging electronics.
NO punctual for timing ;always late, Very Vey Rude staff and Drivers, Nothing Care about Passenger's time, Very worse Service comparatively fair is very high (Rs. 540/-)
Present in congested space. Prices are on higher side. It can be readuced for more customers. As not many ppl traveling by it due to price as private buses charges far less than them
I am a big fan of the Shivneri, Shivshahi and Ashwamegh line of buses operated by Maharashtra State government. I have travelled via these buses frm Dadar TT bus stand many times. There are separte ticket windows based on your location to pune. They also give water bottle along with ticket booking. Overall good customer service and the frequency if the buses is also very good.
Very convenient. Well organized and buses leave right on schedule. The frequency of buses is quite good too. Shivneri buses are clean and comfortable and you get a bottle of water along with your ticket which is an excellent initiative
Good place for Mumbai to Pune travel or local Panvel, Uran travel.has a stop for other buses originating from Mumbai central or Parel to go to other places
Busy bus terminus adjoining Pune railway station. All-India connections depending on your budget. Serves the red buses of the State Transport, the semi-luxury 'Asiad' buses, and the air-conditioned Shiv Shahi and Shivneri buses. Also inter-state buses like Kadamba connecting to Goa, etc. Good frequency. However, wish the staff were more helpful and courteous. No restaurant available, not even sandwiches or samosas. You need to eat at the substandard restaurants outside the terminus. And the toilets stink!
