It's just a small park with trees n some toys for kids to play on. Nothing special, but it forms the part of a trip to the sunset points. We clicked some nice pictures here and enjoyed the trip. But nothing unique or exemplary.
Once a Botanical garden, during the years of service of an English officer ‘Mr. Rye’, has now been converted into a park frequented by picnickers. Lounging over 25 acres of manicured land, the park provides extensive green lawns, that are equipped with swings where the children can play and have fun. Hence it is an ideal visiting spot for the tourists as well as for the local people, to sit on the clean wooden benches, stroll around the tall trees and relax with the near and dear once. Apart from the varieties of trees and flowering plants, the park also has an old Shiva Temple within its premises. When I visited in the December month there was some reconstruction were in place. So didn't saw full garden but it's very nice and pleasant
Quite place near the railway station. Instead of Waiting at railway platform for train its better wait at this place just 10 mins walk from railway station
It's also called as Shivaji Park. The park was completely muddy.may be because of recent rain. However the greenery is good. Bt there could be better cleanliness. The playground for kids was spooky looking. All the seating benches were crooked. May be its better to go during summer season. Including us three there were only a group of 4 people.
Small but densy garden. Best for family ND kids. Couples will not get much privacy here. Some benches are broken and somewhere chain smoker and drukers had leave their marks. Otherwise good
It's a nice cool place in the heart of lonavla. Some of the play equipments are broken, but it's still fun. Trees are tall with big shadows and are maintained nicely. There is an environment friendly compost pit also built. Overall is a good place to spend of you have some buffer time at your hand before check-in or after check out from hotel
A good place where a person can find silence and peace of mind Good to hangout with friends Nature's beauty at its best, there is one big swing naturally build by the nature and good to swing A big temple is there in the park If you all wanna have fun and relax try out this place really you'll get a good experience and want to visit the place again!
Chilled out place even at the temperature of 35 Degrees plus. Feels like a fresh breath of oxygen reviving your body and mind. Huge trees every where but alas not looked after I'll maintained lots of trash strewn around. Kids playing area is really pathetic with broken slides and swings Wish they look after this place well It's an oxygen chamber
Small garden in locals with a small children's play area. Went on a weekday so no one was here. Play equipments need to be maintained else will rust and will be unusable. Entry to the Place is not very prominent. But lots of trees make the place atleast a couple of degrees cooler than surroundings.
Best place to take sharing vehicle for tiger hills and lion point at lonavala. Small garden near lonavala station. Rain season is the best time to spend in lonavala
Don’t visit it! There is nothing to see here! Normal municipal garden with no facilities. Don’t count it for local site scene! Your tour guide or Texi driver will try to sell it
