Hotel staff not good behaviour on normal public for outsiders public and using the bad words and take an action of hotel staff for parvinder Singh gate man of store this guy using the bad words language
The best hotel l' ve ever been privileged enough to stay at a Gorgeous building and a iconic address @ gateway of India. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing and very hospitable. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I will highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown I had a wonderful experience. Every staff member I encountered was very hospitable, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! They were extremely accommodating and allowed us smooth check in. I have stayed a dozen of hotels, this tops the list of best stays/experiences ever.
"Wow " The Palace is very beautiful and unique one. It is a luxury and best hotel in Asia content. We Just had two nights stay on our 30th Anniversary at TAj Mahal it was an absolute bliss. Very pleased with the total experience. Start from check in to check out every movement of truth touch our heart. Hygiene and cleanliness was top notch! Room are marvelous. The buffet break fast at Shamiana was awesome. Two night set meal dinner at masala Craft was devine. I work at vivanta by Taj President for fourty years but never dream that one day i will spend two nights stay at Taj Mahal it was dream come true. Courtesy our both daughter studying abroad. Staff is extremely courteous and helpful. The hotel has extraordinary ambience, texture, the heritage touch. Very much recommended the TAJ MAHAL PALACE!
My wife and I went to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary at the Taj towers Mumbai. We had heard a lot about Taj group's legendary hospitality but honestly what we experienced was nothing short of magical. At check in, Mr Anup Dey at the reception gave us a lovely room much before the actual check in time and topped it of with a surprise choclate cake when we got back in the evening. During our stay, all staff members, without any exception went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cater to all our requests but I have to specially mention the names of Anselm at the breakfast restaraunt, Satish (concierge) and Sandeep Suvarna (room service) who really took some extra trouble to give us a fantastic time. From conjuring a divine, baked yoghurt for breakfast to arranging a RT PCR test at short notice - compulsory for passengers going to Bengaluru from Mumbai - nothing was beyond their prowess. Now that we are back home in Bengaluru, all we can say is "Thank you Taj".
No doubt stay at Taj is unique. Everyone who stayed here will give positive review because the fact is that the rooms, facilities, amenties, food etc are perfect. My review is not on above parameters. The one thing that i found disgusting n bad which needs to be changed is ' Ji Hozoor' slave kind of gesture.namaste, folding hands by the staff.this is not required. BE NORMAL, Show geniune POLITENESS, HAVE MUTUAL RESPECT with your guests.thats it. We all are human beings. One star less is for above highlighted point. Thanks.
Taj mahal tower is the same hotel which is connect with taj mahal palace. Many people think it's diffrent than palace. Palace wing has been connected internally with tower wing. And and these two has it own charm.
Any one staying in taj tower or palace can explore other side also.
There are more than 7 restaurants in taj And major restaurant are in tower wing and it's ground floor there are only 2 restaurant in palace Wing. I would suggest go for tower rather than palace due to the great view.
Awesome Experience In Mumbai with Taj mahal 5 star Hotel.
Unique Dining. The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, has some of the most renowned fine-dining restaurants in India. A combination of lite bites such as local favorites, far east delights, indian, and Japanese finger licking items. The traditional and contemporary design elements highlight the dynamic menu which showcases a wide array of cuisines and dishes. From Bengali favorites to sandwiches and burgers, from classic grills to signatures, the menu reflects the rich legacy of the Taj.
Taj Hotel is a pride of Mumbai, amazing experience, good food, friendly staff, room service and house keeping staff great.we enjoyed my wife's birthday for 3 days regards Mr. James Almeida vasai
The view from the Superior Sea view room is awesome. The hospitality is great. However don't go for corner room as they are smaller than the rest of the rooms. Also, if you want a heritage feel, book Taj Mahal Palace instead of Taj Mahal Tower. There is a lot of difference in the interiors of both the hotels.
One of the best experience of Taj hotel is the view of Gateway of India which one should not miss. When in Mumbai person should visit atleast once this place. Loved the ambience, best hospitality. We visited masala kraft restaurant amazing food
Words cannot do justice to the beauty and charm of this place. What got me the most is the beauty and simplicity. Staying in a place with so much legacy and history is amazing.
This is an only one time experience place. Didn't feel like I was staying in Taj, was just like some other ordinary hotel. Cleanliness & hygiene were 10/10 Very good staff 8/10 Good clean rooms 10/10 Ambience 8/10
Whatever you do this guys are gonna make you wait. They just took 2 hrs for our Check-In like no value for time. This is a place where you get charged Rs. 450 for like 20-30pcs of ice-cubes. You can get a big slab of ice from which you & your friends can do ice bucket challenge. Any who, do visit once.
The food was amazing, the view of the sea is awesome, the hotel was busy even during weekdays. Emphasis was on wearing mask and they provided with safety kits which had mask and gloves. The staff attended us pretty well
The construction of the hotel was commissioned by Tata. Its doors opened to guests on 16 December 1903. An oft-repeated story concerning the reasoning behind the construction of the hotel was Jamsetji Tata's refusal into the Watson's Hotel due to it being reserved for Europeans, but the validity of this has been challenged by writer Charles Allen, who wrote that Tata was unlikely to care about such a slight to the extent that he would construct a new hotel. Instead, Allen writes, the Taj was built at the urging of editor of The Times of India who felt a hotel "worthy of Bombay" was needed and as a "gift to the city he loved" by Tata. The original Indian architects were Sitaram Khanderao Vaidya and D. N. Mirza, and the project was completed by an English engineer, W. A. Chambers. The builder was Khansaheb Sorabji Ruttonji Contractor who also designed and built its famous central floating staircase. The cost of construction was £250,000 (£127 million in 2008 prices).
It is hard to understate how amazing a hotel this is. The service, attention to detail, and history are unmatched. The intersection of new and old is organic. It is a raft of calm in a sea of chaos.
Taj, nam hi kafi hai. Wonderful stay with variety cuisine of breakfast, lunch and dinner at Shamiyana else Indian cuisine at Masala. Yummy and tasty food. You have choices of Sea facing or City view rooms. Awesome stay at Taj Mahal Tower sea facing room with a view of Gateway of India.
Fantastic Hotel with the best hospitality that one can experience. Booked the Apollo Suite in the Tower wing (there is a Palace wing as well). Got a great package including bfast, lunch and dinner. They are providing multiple options for the meals and we can choose from a set 3 course meal at Masala Kraft or Shamiana or opt for a buffet spread in the Palace wing. It provides a complete experience of both the hotel's since they are both iconic in their own way. Room has a balcony and an amazing sea view which really adds to the overall experience. It is located on a higher floor as well. Staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Also, everyone is following proper sanitization guidelines (including disinfecting luggage upon arrival and my car before parking) and sanitizers are kept at regular intervals within the Hotel. Special thanks to Toral from the team who handled our queries pre and post arrival!
If at all I'd have ratings more than a 5 star, I'd have been glad to spare that to this place. This place is no less than a "Mahal" as they have named it. Service here is par to the best. Still I have to nitpick, they do not have a private parking space for their guests. Though they provide the best valet service, this the only thing that bothered me for the price that I've paid for the booking.
Amazing place for a staycation. You can feel the Royal Experience right from entering the hotel. The sea view rooms are beautiful and you can see the sunrise from your room. It's a place not to be missed when in Mumbai.
Awesome loved it Rooms are pretty comfy and beautiful The view is awesome The food is also just amazing The ambience is also great Also with utmost care and sanitization Loved the stay
Staycation in Taj Tower, Colaba, Mumbai was a good. But house keeping management was slightly disappointing because they went into my room without my permission.
Staycation with family at Taj Mahal Tower. Beauty at it's best, elegant and grace echoes this magnificent structure. Must stay for everyone who comes to and stays in Mumbai
Top class hotel. Great view from sea facing rooms. Mix of traditional and modern flairs. Staff is friendly. Limited services active currently due to Covid
Visited this area with family and wanted to have some juices and coffee in Shamiana restaurant, at the entrance security guard h stop me to enter, and said need table booking proof.
Taj is a history and a pride of India worth staying and experience the hospitality by Taj team which js'at different level. A 5 star is just not giving basic facilities but really making ambience and giving extra ordinary facilities
Lovely hotel. Inside there is a huge lounge. There are many photo spots also. An iconic building in Mumbai, Colaba. A landmark place. Arabian sea and Gateway of India are right in front of the hotel. That make the place a tourist spot and and must visit place in Mumbai.
Awesome. Great place to check in. Superb amenities, comfort, Location view and the class apart. Even though I have not been inside but I wish one day I will. Its one of the grandest hotel suit of Taj Group.
Awesome hotel. The Taj Mahal Palace opened in Mumbai, then Bombay, in 1903, giving birth to the country’s first harbour landmark. These cozy rooms located in the historic Palace Wing are the gateway to a memorable experience.
Just can anyone dare to imagine that after attending a function attended by the president of India and chief minister while attending the dinner the waiter whisked away our water glasses and refuse to provide us with water or any other. Alternative as we are tea totaller. The rude staff went farther to add that this policy is advised by our senior management.
Just couldn't believe what we were hearing.
The icing on the cake is, if you post an adverse comment on the website page of the hotel, they will remove it without even contacting you, as was my case
