Ample varieties of starters/appetizers! Not disappointed with any dish. I couldn't taste any of the main course dishes. (Will update in next visit). Suggestion to add seasonal/festival desserts.
There is nothing great about this place. Food is not at all tasty as per normal restaurants also. Taste is below average, sweets are not sweet like pastries and modak, grills are very limited no variety's offered, ice cream are of local company's. Price is too high. They cheat you on rewards and bonus points and make you pay full price on the last moment. Better don't go to such places and waste your time and money.
If you like enjoying buffet-style service then this is your go to place in Thane. It gives you that Barbeque nation type vibes yet it has its own vibe. The ambience and atmosphere here was good. We have an occasion to celebrate and it was very amazing and we had a great time over here. The food here is good and the service they offer is quick and approachable. There are different rates for lunch and dinner for different days, make sure you check before you visit this place. I really liked the strawberry cheese cake in the dessert section (my most favourite part of the buffet). Overall not over-priced or bad in terms of food quality and services. Have a wonderful time.
I recently dined at The Caravan Menu in Thane, Navi Mumbai, and my experience was somewhat mixed. The restaurant's ambiance and decor are pleasant, offering a cozy atmosphere for a meal.
However, the food left a bit to be desired. While the menu had a variety of options, the taste and presentation of the dishes I ordered were average at best. It felt like there was room for improvement in terms of flavor and freshness.
Service-wise, the staff was friendly but seemed a bit overwhelmed during my visit, leading to longer waiting times. It would be great if they could work on their efficiency to enhance the overall dining experience.
On the positive side, the pricing was reasonable, making it a decent option for a casual meal out.
In conclusion, The Caravan Menu has potential, but there is room for improvement in terms of food quality and service efficiency. It's an okay choice for a quick meal, but not necessarily a top dining destination in the area.
Please visit this place when u what to eat worst food of your life They started with stinky chicken leg pieces all spicy starters and service is worst including the manager and owner they don’t accept the quality of food is bad even repeating so many time they started shouting on us So think 100times before you visit this place
Good place for big groups get together and family functions. Food is amazing.lots of varieties for both VEGETARIANS and NON-VEGETARIANS. Desserts are good. Service is also up to mark. Waiters and managers are very friendly. Ambience is perfect.
We had booked a table for 12, although we were confirmed rooftop seating, they were kind enough to accommodate us in the AC hall (it was probably because we reached 15mins early then the allotted time). For reservation I would give 4/5.
The overall ambiance was good, but since it was a Sunday night the hall got completely packed up by 8.00pm. For Ambiance: 3/5
In the beginning the servers are very enthusiastic and served us well but after the 2nd round, they were all very slow and lethargic. We had to wait for long long time to be served again. Since we were hosting the party we felt a bit disappointed as all our guest had to wait with no food in their plates. Couple of items were served only when we asked for it (especially mutton seek kabab; we were served that after reminding them twice / thrice). Since we had booked for non veg food (& expected that we will be served veg as well) but was never served veg until we asked for. For service: 2/5
Now coming to food, the food was completely awesome. The chefs had done a great job! Kudos to their hard work! We started with mocktails and liked Electric Shock and Peach Mint mojito the best out the 7 that we ordered.
Then came the starter, we liked fish, prawns, chicken tangadi, pineapple, sweet potato, cajun potato. Average: Chicken kabab, pizza, chicken/veg moms, paneer (it was dipped in cream and felt raw and uncooked). Not served: tandoori aloo, barbeque watermelon, veg falafel, Mexican mushroom, mutton mint seek kabab, sev puri.
Main course was good, namely chicken dum biryani, veg hongkong noodles, chilli garlic fried rice, chicken kadai, mutton vandaloo.
Desserts: All was excellent, specially angoori gulab jabun, angoori rasgulla & jalebi.
Although there were little ups and downs but still I would like to give 5/5 for the food.
Since I have earlier been to BBQ Nation, Bombay BBQ and Lords of BBQ, I would definitely say that the choices or the variety of food is far too less as compared to them but still keeping away the service part I would still like to visit them again (& try the remaining things which i was not served)
Overall I would rate my experience as 3.5/ 5 for The Caravan Menu
I think this place has already beaten Barbeque nation with its spread of dishes and taste. The place serves awesome grill kebabs in fish and Chicken. Great vegetarian options too. Valet parking available. Staff observes all safety practices and wear masks all the times. Kindly book your table before heading here. The staff is very co-operative, fast and courteous. Wheelchair access available. Lift available as the place is on 1st floor.
Must visit for a sumptuous meaty affair. A Paradise for non-vegetarians.
Better than any other buffet restaurants at present. Starters, Main course at last deserts simply delicious. Only suggestion instead of free local packaged water keep a charge for Mineral water.
The experience was good i can say as we took the unlimited food for which its famous for. I would prefer people who have nice apetite should go for it as the menu has a lot of dishes. I particularly liked the veg barbeque that we had. Drinks were not included in it we ordered it seperately. The staff kind of kept eye on us as if we were doing any thing hahaha. We sat around till the restaurant was going to close. I will rate it 7 at the scale of 10. Thank you.
Everything was fine until I saw the bill. The sprite 750ml bottle with mrp of 40 INR was at 175 INR. I think they are charging more than 4 times because it takes too much effort to buy bottle from shop and place in your restaurant. 2 times is fine but charging more than 4 times is a solid proof that we have no regulation and control when it comes to looting people.
Fantastic Experience. Food was super delicious, chat menu esp dahi puri was super yummy. As it was tuesday our veg day so had to go for veg menu but I must say it was worth visiting, food was super delicious. For starters its 5/5 stars. For Main course I would like to suggest for more variety of dishes (esp fried rice would hve been much better) For dessert also lovely gulab jamun and pastries, brownies and so many other varieties. It was birthday and I must say it was worth the visit. Ambience, staff were taking care of everything. And they were so respectful towards everything. I loved the place and will be surely a regular visitor here. Fantastic job. My best wishes.
The food was good but staff behaviour was not polite. We hav to wait for food and hv to call them again and again.and than also they was least interested.they did some cheap things like cross checked my 3 year old daughter age just to confirm it. No welcoming drink and on askin there was always a rude answer. And drinks we order wer not up to mark. Virgin mojito was totally useless.
This place is located in Luis wadi which previously had barbecue nation. Food quality is very good and staff is very polite. Cost per person is less as compared to other food joints. Nov veg starters like kebabs momos and prawns are delicious. There are many options for vegetarians. Skip main course and must try the dessert and sweets available.
The non veg starters are good. The veg starters don't really have much of a flavour. Most of them are pretty bland. The main course is good. The noodles though didn't have enough flavour. The desserts are good. I loved the Korean prawns, crispy corn and chicken leg. It costed us around 3800 for 5 people.
The range of barbecue items is limited, there is no new items compared to what is served in similar restaurant Taste is average. The buffet close time was 4: 30p.m. And to pushed people already seated they had turned the air conditioner off
All you can eat barbeque buffet at a Louiswadi, Eastern Exp highway, Thane. Varieties of veg n non veg starters, main course and desserts. Has a well stocked bar too, Vast AC indoor and outdoor terrace seating too.
Average place for BBQ. 1. Options are good, but average taste 2. Parking space is very limited on a very small road, hard to find one 3. Ambience is good
Great food quality, taste, variety and service, just the quality of skewers could be improved because on such a beautiful table of food the skewers looks pretty old and overall quality can be improved for skewers
Menu is superb with good choice of food and the best buffet unlimited food Rest in Thane with good interior inside as well outside with good parking. But management need to compromise with private parties so they have more crowd & Event.
Food quality is great. Ample of space. Good sitting arrangement. Staff is very supportive. They brought the other food items like pani puri etc directly to the table which I appreciated. Small kids enjoying a lot. Only one think that there is Some issues with dine app as they didn't accepted dine app payment.
Amazing place. Great ambience. Food was heavenly yummy. Really cool place to hangout with family as well as friends. Non veg was finger licking Veg was on another level Brownie points for Free cake on B'Days
Use discount applications to get discount around 100-200 rupees, in that sense one can say it is worth to go there and without it also it's worth bcz this won't be your go to place every day so anniversary, hungry and your bhukkad girlfriend can have plenty of food and won't complaint and it would be heaven for foodies
The food was very good with lot of items in Veg. I like paneer, pineapple, watermelon, mushroom, crispy corn and aloo tikki in barbeque. The food was also good. It was first barbeque nation now it's called caravan menu. It has huge item outside to sit as well where they have their desserts.
They asked me to submit my Child's Aadhar Card if I wanted to cut his Birthday cake, There were 2 Female Customers sitting close to my Table one of them had her Birth date on a Future Date, I overheard them while planning for the Complimentary Cake order (However they served her Cake unconditionally) I paid higher then them (3 pax) but was not Treated Good.
Water - If you ask for Normal water they serve via USED plastic bottles which are recommended to be non Reusable.
