Very nice room that smelled like mold. Had a hair in our food and the cook actually argued with us that it was corn husk - the zoom lense on my phone showed otherwise - gross.
I will say they have an excellent concierge.

Nice ambience. Good behavior by staff. Visited the hotel for 2 hours to meet my friend. Overall good experience. Of course, it's 5 star hotel of Mumbai so is little expensive but price is worth the service and quality.
Had been to an event at Leela. Service was very good. The event management company had a bad attitude, which might not be from Leela. Just mentioned, in case they were part of Leela. The venue of the event was good, but required lot of maintenance. We could see the paints not proper and the rusting of metal coverings in many places. Hope Leela takes notice of this on a positive side.
It’s a delightful experience to stay in The Leela, Mumbai. Been there a couple of times and it’s been wonderful. Surely recommendable as a place to stay if you are in for a short visit to Mumbai as it’s close to the airport
I would like to start that I do this in fair reciprocity; life has taught a small gesture means sometimes life change to others. I have been multiple times to Leela Hotel. Many locals think there are better, newer properties in the city, and that it looks a bit vintage, but I really love it. No massification, customised attention, trained and experienced staff, servicing in every small action, and some quietness in a bustling city. One of my favourite hotels in Mumbai, a heaven pace to me where I can feel closer to home after a busy business day
The hotel is beautiful the staff of the hotel are very helpful, knowledgeable and gentle. Only the thing I don’t like are insects, when i woke up this morning I found some ants around the corner and a small fly. Please look after this issue. Thanks for housekeeping staff for helping me to clear all this.
Excellent property which is very near to Mumbai airport, but disappointed with the staff behaviour at the Citrus restaurant. Food is also below par especially during lunch hours.
From my experience in staying in 657 room for 4 nights, I am happy with the hospitality and behaviour of all service persons in this hotel including front desk, operators, mess guys and management. Excellent service. This was my first experience with leela and am glad that it was perfect.
Great ambiance, excellent customer service, very close to the international airport. Aiport transfers available. The Spa services are exquisite. Will definitely book again.
The room was really nice, the staff in general was nice, however they had breakfast at the restaurant in the main lobby and the service was awful. It seemed that the staff was not at all interested in service. It was a buffet and there were a few instances where the food items placed there were missing spoons, when I requested spoons from the chef there by the counter, I was told to ask "that other person". During Covid times, this is a big red flag.
There was another situation where I was told, go give this request to someone else. Come on guys, I am probably paying 5 times or even more for the food compared other places and I expect the differentiating factor to be service.
I don't think I will ever visit another Leela location anywhere. You lost already 2 customers today.

Attended a wedding reception yesterday and was quite disappointed with the quality of the food. Standards have definitely dropped for sure. Only saving grace was the ras malai which was outstanding.
The hotel is well I would say up to date the stay was pleasant. The staff is well trained and presentable the only draw back was morning breakfast, the management lacks in that particular area refilling was not properly done, too much crowded, plates were not available, bowls were unavailable people had to wait for 5 min 10 min other than that everything was great
Went for lunch. Was always fascinated about visiting this place as I always crossed it on the way to Airport. The lobby and the interiors were nice and clean. The food at Citrus - the lunch buffet was average and could do with more variety and prompt staff.
It destroyed my expectations, The room was too small and we took the pool view room but the pool was looking like a haunted place without water and waste inside the pool and at night there is nothing such as a view, There was no shaving set, dental kit and comb available until and unless I asked for it. The breakfast was the only good thing happened there
It was wonderful stay with delicious food. The room was neat and welcoming. Best part is you can listen music while showing or relaxing in the bathtub. Lighting in the room is cozy. It's a calm place amid busiest place of Mumbai. The staff here are helpful and attentive. Surrounding of this place is calm not to forget it's hot & humid outside the moment you step out. Overall this place is wonderful to stay for vacation. Love it.

The name itself suggests dignity well I would like to say "not so much" I believe over time it has degraded, the food is a disaster and the staff behavior I felt was like OYO rooms. I order 4 meals and had 1 buffet none of that satisfied me to the standards of its name. I can cook better and I mean it. The staff in the counter were people who looked like they are just doing their jobs no greet no smile and no soft skill. I asked for a cheese omelet in the morning buffet and it arrived 25 late, which sadly I couldn't enjoy whole because I had to leave for work. The omelet was clearly instructed to be PLAIN but I found bits of vegetables in it. I do eat it so it didn't matter to me but yet UNPROFESSIONAL & ABSENT MINDED.
The Leela connoisseur club membership is a scam. They sell that membership saying you will get 3 complimentry night stay plus 3 nights at half price, but everytime you try to make a booking they say its not available. Out of 170 rooms at their property they only make 5 rooms available for members. It is absolutely impossible to be lucky enough to get a booking. Firstly if you say you are a member they will not let you avail the complimentry room nights. Secondly, if you ask for a room at cost they driectly quote a price of 12k for a room whereas a standard room is only for 6k. I became a victim of this harassment at The Leela Mumbai. The staff at the connoisseur club is also very rude. Inspite of having valid vouchers of complimentry room nights they did not allow me to use those and asked me to pay 12k rs to book a room and the standard room available at the reception was 6k! They harassed me to an extend that when I named the staff members (which luckily I remembered) who gave me this information they blatantly refused. I am highly disappointed with the kind of treatment this prestigious hospitality company is giving. To add to everything they said they are doing me a favour by giving booking for a day and cannot give more. They must know this is not a favour but I paid a hamdsome amount to purchase this memebership!
The stay at Leela was up to the mark. Everything was on time without any delays. The staff here are very humble and courageous. We were welcomed by a welcome drink along with a cake for our anniversary. The buffet was quite delicious. All thanks to Mr. Prathmesh the Duty manager who never said no to any of our requests and made sure we had a seamless stay. Also Ms. Sima who welcomed us with a cheerful smile. Would love to visit again.
The meet and greet staff was very professional, reception was co operative. House keeping guys very humble and co operative. The room was quite good neat and clean. I was under quaratine for my stay the services offered were upto the mark. The reason for not giving 5 star is the food, the quarantine food was horrible, in dining ala carte didnt match my expectation. Had some issue with the private dining staff
Oh my oh my.how things could go so wrong with the Leela Mumbai! Once the epitome of luxury in Mumbai, my stay at the Leela was a mixed bag of sorts. We had booked a stay at the hotel earlier this month. Greeted warmly, staffs were pleasant and courteous. Check in was breeze and we were upgraded to their club rooms, which had a good view of the pool. It didn't matter though as the pool was closed for public, so no water. Our room was on the seventh floor. The lobby, entrance and the room were all neat and tidy. Sanitizer stands were kept at most places which was a real good sign of the safety precautions undertaken by the management. We double checked at the time of check-in with regards to the hygiene and safety protocols followed by the hotel and was informed in detail about the whole process including the sanitisation of rooms. The room was decent, spacious and clean. The in-room bar was empty and the menu was displayed as QR code on the tv screen which can be scanned using our mobile. The food menu was limited with a mix from the Indian, Continental and Oriental cuisine. Good selection of wines and spirits comprised the bar menu. Prices were a bit steep compared to similar properties in the same segment. Now for the mixed bag stuffs. We ordered food which were mostly a let down. Ordered Murgh Tikka and Sichuan Chilli Chicken for appetizers. Murg Tikka was good and flavorful, Chilli Chicken was a bit oily, but ok. Next was Tandoori Chicken Pizza which had a thin crust with good toppings of grilled chicken. Next we wanted to try Grilled Mumbai Toasties, so ordered one in Lamb and another in Chicken. And I must say it was an absolute disappointment. If this is their take on the Mumbaiya local fare, they need some major revision in menu. The toasties were just slices of bread with stuffing served with ketchup and zero presentation. There was no accompaniment that usually comes with items of loaf. We had to order french fries separately. The kind of prices that they are charging for toasties and what you are served is incomparable. The lobby has a lounge, a pub- Citrus, and a restaurant- Jamavar that serves buffet along with ala carte. The oriental restaurant, The Great Wall was not open for some reason. Regular guests are allowed in the restaurants till 4.30 pm in the evening during weekdays. No such restrictions for in room guests. The lobby lounge is cozy and dimly lit with candles. Citrus is a decent pub with vibrant interiors and that's where we decided to hit for the later part of the evening. Apart from us only one other table was occupied. Ordered a couple of pints of beer, and while waiting for the drinks to arrive, we had an unannounced visitor.a rat! Yes, a rat.zoomed just past us. We were absolutely aghast with all this.sub par food was one thing but a rodent in a 5 star pub is absolutely no no. After our drinks we decided to have dinner in the room itself to avoid further misadventures. Dinner was Mutton seekh Kabab which was yummy and Butter chicken with rotis. While ordering the food we had specifically requested that the appetizer be served before the main course. But everything was bought in together. By the time we finished with the appetizer, roti had got cold. Butter chicken flavour was good, but found the chicken pieces somewhat uncooked. Later ordered gulab jamun for dessert which was thankfully a delight. Breakfast buffet was average with most of the usual suspects. South Indian fare of medu vadas and upma, oily puris served with bhaji, sausages were almost raw. Made to order dosas and omlette were decent and fortunately sambar wasn't of the sweet kind. We also observed not much social distancing was followed in the restaurant. Some of the guests weren't even wearing masks. I fail to understand why during a pandemic, the 'educated lot' can be so casual with respect to their own safety as well as safety of others. Overall we had an below par stay experience at the hotel.
This was my first time at this hotel. Staff was cooperative and helpful especially the front desk guys. In room dining needs to improve as meals were sometimes delivered late. Cleanliness and hygiene is good. Rooms can be above average to good fepwndi g upon which one you opt for. As a whole the hotel gives you above average service in these times of covid.

We booked a room for one night. The room was badly maintained. Door knobs falling off, a weird smell inside the room, the ac was not working. We did not get proper sleep due to it. Next morning for breakfast, the manager at the citrus cafe was not at all welcoming and was giving an attitude look. All in all avoid at all costs.

I called the hotel at 1: 03 on August 7 regarding reservation and my call was forwarded to the reservation department. The wait time was too long but I understand that and it is totally acceptable. But what is not acceptable is that a lady received my call. And just when I spoke 2 words out of my mouth, she disconnected the call. I was really looking forward but now I am highly disappointed. The waiting time is already long and to top it off you disconnect my call like that. That's highly unprofessional.
Covid Safe! Best place for staycation️ had such a pleasant time, staff is curteous and very helpful. Food was amazing. They are maintaining all the guidelines for safety. We were upgraded from city facing room to pool facing with views overlooking the greenery.
Tucked inside the hustling bustling city is a cosy resort. It takes you to a different space, it transports you partially to a peaceful enviorment if not completely!
Was not feeling well to travel so asked them to cancel and refund me. They cancelled my booking but without refunding me. They didn’t tell me that they wouldn’t refund me when they cancelled otherwise I would have sent other family members on my behalf. They escalated to different managers but none of them were understanding. £100 down the drain and nothing to show for it. Avoid!

Glorious view of the surroundings and very nearby to the Airport. They have amazing banquet halls and conference rooms for parties, get together, weddings and for Corporate meetings and conferences.
I liked the food. I was there for a very short period of time. Ambiance is good. Inside small water fall that I liked in particular. They have multiple places inside for food as per your need.
Due to covid it's mostly empty as of now. Over all its good place to be for a short or medium period of time.

Nice ambience, hospitality is amazing, staff is friendly, if we look for rooms and compare with the brand name the rooms are good but hotel staff and there hospitality increase the experience to next level. Breakfast buffet spread is good. Try to avoid stay on 2nd floor if ur non smoker.
This is a great hotel. Rooms have all the necessities and best to stay overnight. They have a good swimming pool too. Its a bit cheaper compared to other 5-star hotels nearby and this one is better in quality too.
I've been traveling the world but always preferred other hotel chains, this was the first time i stayed with the leela Mumbai. One of the best property I've stayed in India, caring about every minute thing for the customer. Wonderful property, fantastic ambience and very curtious staff. Keep up the good work team the leela.
The Leela Hotel is near to airport. One of the best hotels around airport. Quality food and bery good ambience. Amazing entry with valet service for cars. Then the lobby with Christmas decoration. Enjoyed my partu in the hotel with good food and drinks
Staying at The Leela Mumbai was a big disappointment for us. I had previously stayed at the Delhi location and that was much better. Here, the rooms were very cramped. There are not enough charging points, some rooms will arbitrarily have a couch missing, breakfast buffet lacked any North Indian food options and otherwise also wasn't upto the mark. There is no complimentary internet. I stayed at multiple hotels during my India trip, this was the first hotel to charge me for internet. They had airport pick up service but no drop off.
The only good thing was the service and friendliness of the staff + the decor of the common areas but I wouldn't stay here again.

Honestly I wasn't too pleased with the service here, they try to make money off everything, they do not even provide a dental kit or complementary Wi-Fi which even a regular 3 star hotel provides, the complementary breakfast is great on Saturday but pretty mediocre on the other days, of course the rooms were great but I am not sure whether I would want to stay here again.

Lovely hotel with wonderful staff. The rooms were nice and clean but for the price, name, and number of stars I was expecting a bit more. The room decoration was dull and is in dire need of a refresh. The best part of this hotel is the staff. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Also we really enjoyed the Club Royal level which includes access to their Club Royal lounge. It’s open 24 hours with light breakfast, small bites for lunch, afternoon tea, cocktail hour, and nightcap. That itself is worth the extra money paid for the Club Level Room. Also, I believe their breakfast buffet at Citrus is also included which is really worth the price. My only issue as they ever mentioned any of these amenities at check in. We would have taken more use of it had we known.
