Toni Daa Dhaba

Service and ambience was good. Maybe because we reached at off peak hours around 3 in the afternoon. It was empty. Food was ok. Nothing to write home about but the price includes the experience I think. Overall ok. Once in a while it fine to visit.

The waiters at Tony Da Dhaba Vadgaon Maval are very arrogant and they act as if they are too busy and do not understand the arranged menu when asked. And if some things are not serviced, they try to hide that thing. Also the ambiance is not the same as the first one. The food quality is good and the rates are high accordingly. Which is no longer serviced as the dhaba was in 1996-97.

It have proper parking place, kids play area, washrooms. If you are non vegetarian you must try Kadaknath Chicken in kala rassa. They we give you half sukka and half curry. You will love it. In dessert you can try Jalebi Rabdi.

This is one of the best restaurants on Mumbai Pune old highway. Their service is very quick, the staff is humble and they have great food quality.

I've been visiting this place since childhood. Its a dhaba on the old Mumbai Pune Highway. They serve delicious Punjabi food which is lip-smacking and very heavily loaded with rich aromatics and butters. They also serve kadaknath chicken which is black in colour variety different than our regular chicken. They also serve Emu meat. And they breed their own birds right next to the dhaba. It has a nostalgic vibe for me as I visit here since long. But do give it a try if you're travelling within Pune and Mumbai. It is a lot expensive for a dhaba. They also have a live counter for jalebi and rabdi which is also a must try.

Worst food ever. Chicken was stale and was tasting wierd.we had out tummy upset almost immediately.there were plastic parts in chicken curry.
Rotis were not cooked properly. Staff was not professional.

Not the greatest dhaba I've been to but the name is famous so we go many a times as it is a short drive on mumbai pune highway. Food was average though jalebi is amazing.

It is a little over priced but the taste is worth it. This is probably the last good restaurant you would get before you hit Pune City limits while coming from Mumbai on the old Mumbai-Pune highway.

Oldest dhaba on Old Mumbai Pune Highway. Serving Veg as well as Non Veg Food. The Food quality is really good but too expensive.

NAAM BADE aur DARSHAN CHOTE
Absolute worst service. They don't even pay attention when taking the order and take absolute eternity to bring to the table. They also serve you stones sometimes in your gravy. The cold coffee has no coffee inside. The rice comes uncooked. And when you go and complain about the service, they show you some attitude too. Also shamelessly ask for a tip after all this.

A lil expensive.jalebi was not upto d mark.gulab jam was also ok ok.rabri was good.but pricing is a bit high.

Food taste was good. But they insist on having their rumali khakra instead of masala papad which don't taste as good as they say. Chicken tastes good. But prices are really really high.

Went as it is famous for non veg. We ordered chicken seekh kabab n tandori surmai. Seekh kabab were not nice, fish was ok. Food quantity was good. Service was fast. Manager was good, as he accepted our request to return katori papad and bring normal papad (as that katori one is not dal papad).
Overall you can visit once for long drive, and show kids ducks and ostriches.

I will say food was good Service was good too.
This hotel is in highway and people expect for good hygienic toilet which I found was missing. The toilet was very unhygienic.

Nice place. Good quality is very nice and the service is good. Loved it. One star deducted just for the washrooms. They were stinking. Could have been better.

Food is good.
Have some time at hand. Crowded during weekends. Order less than you want to avoid wastage since quantity offered is way more than usual.

Worst Experience!
This was my first time at Toni Daa Dhaba, experience was not good, the rotis we were served were not warm enough as if it was coocked since a long time back and in bulk. Dhaba Chicken is not at all good, it was pretty average, Paneer Tikka Masala was also average, in short "Naam Bade aur Darshan Chote", means Toni Daa Dhaba just couldn't live up to the standards.

- Easily accessible from main road
- huge area and quite good space for parking
- big play area for kids to play
- few emus and ducks are kept but look so tired and hungry.not kept well at all and seems so sick
- washrooms were stinking pathetically even in morning at 11 am.
- not very clean or sanitized tables
- Food quality and taste just ok

Overly hyped and not good

I have off late turned vegetarian after having been eating non veg most of my life. I had ordered Veg Nargis, Veg Bhoona and paneer butter masala, and I didn't miss eating non vegetarian food one bit. I was mightily surprised by the food quality and I will be visiting this joint very very frequently now. Cheers!

Worse food for vegetarian people. Manager told me sabji included paneer and all veggies and they served us tomato gravy and said everything is grated in it. Roasted papad 60, sabji 340 which is gravy only and nan 150. Too expensive and wastage of money.

Very good dhaba.
Especially hot jalebi and rabdi.
Onion pakodas and tea also good to try.

Had an amazing Punjabi good in Long time. I am going to this place for years now. Lot of things changed like menu, ambience, food, what has not changed is Washrooms. They seriously need to keep those clean. It is huge turnoff. The food is good, service is good. Everything else is good.

Ambience is good. We got feedback from our friends that, food is good.
But, when we visited, we found food is on average level with very high rates and small quantity.
I would propose Sunny Dhaba is far better in taste.

There is too much name of this place n I found it very ordinary. From ambiance to food, service to staffs.
Hardly anything extraordinary.just a simple dhaba with some rare meat like emu meat etc.

It is like naam bade darshan chote, taste is not good even service is pathetic they provide fingers bowl if you ask.

When I visited crowd was low, so service should be on time. But there is too much delay in service.

Starter took 15 to 20 min to serve and it was not good, even though I asked for one roti and I waited almost 7 to 8 min to get it on plate after complaining couple of times.

Waste of money. No maintenance, lack of cleanliness. No taste to food as it was earlier. Limited dishes and too costly. Not worth paying it. Please check for reviews as stated as those are right review, do not ignore the reviews, as we did that mistake and wasted our money

Food is good. Quick service but some of the staff are quite impolite. Otherwise 4.5 rating is worth it

It was a best place to enjoy food and drink with your friends. But it's a little bit expensive.

Stale food served. Even pudina chatni served with kabab had bubbles into it. Pathetic food. Rates are too high. We also ordered rabadi in desert which was ok. Will never recommend to anyone.

Lovely place.with hyginic food.if you want to enjoy more noon is the time to go. Do not forget to order the speciality rumali khakra.if you are a vegeterian paneer is yumm here.

I have no idea why this place is so hyped up. I had visited Tony Da Dhaba few years back at the time the taste was really good. When I visited this hotel recently I just felt that the prices were too high the quantity was too less and the Ambience was totally done. Very disappointed. I ordered their sweet lassi which would be around a litre of lassi but I don't get why it is priced so much.

I had a terrible experience.we went to this place on a Sunday lunch with family.the food served to us was without salt almost.we sat on khat and chair combination.the fan was not working and it was very hot inside.
Food quality was pathetic.not recommended at all.

It was the first time for me visiting the place.
FOOD IS WAY MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE QUALITY THE SERVE. I used to hear a lot about the Dhaba of serving one of best food and variety of meat on pune Lonavala highway. Sadly that claim fell flat on its face today. The only thing which tasted good was salt and pepper veg kebab otherwise every other dish was like nail to the coffin. I always use to hear they serve Emu and Turkey on their menu and to my amazement these guys keep Emu and Turkey in their garden yard in cage. I don't think with the surrounding they are in you would want to eat them. Never visiting again.

Worst experience we had the manager is worst her behaviour is just ridiculous. Will NEVER visit here again.no manners and etiquette to the staff they are behaving in such a way as if they don't need customers for their dhabba.

Third class dhaba. Smelly food (Spoiled One) and lady at counter argued when complained. Stay Away for safety of your body. Not hygienic at all, dirty kitchen. I think popular just because its old dhaba when Mumbai pune express highway was not there. People who used to commute between 2 cities may carry some memory. Otherwise useless place to visit.

Nice place, has opened up to customers but currently allowing only 50% capacity people to dine. The food is okay not typical dhaba feel though but has play area for kids and seperate set-up for Khat style dine too.

Over hyped place. Visited in the afternoon for lunch. Staff was as if they havent eaten for days.no energy. No smile. Very robotic. And very unwelcoming. Ambience was a bit gloomy. Dint order thier very famous chura papad but a masala papad which was guven as if it was some kind of charity.uncooked. 5 packets of oul. No masala. And super shityy. Butter chicken was ok. Portion too less.
Overall. Over rated. Will never visit again.

Overpriced, Stale Food, Pathetic Customer Service. You need medical insurance mandatory after having their food!

I strictly urge food inspection department to have a check on this dhaba and take strict action against them. If restaurant owner is not aware of this practice at their business they are going be in trouble very soon.

One of the worst Dhaba on town. Pathetic taste. All food were stale. Ultra expensive a naan costed me 155 rs.that too it was hard. I mean pathetic experience. It is just hyped for no reason. Monopoly around the place. Should ban this place. They purposefully forced the kadai khakra saying it's there speciality and it too tasted pathetic. I mean just carrying around walkie talkies and showing off they are extremely busy was all a useless thing when they can't even serve there customer well. We asked to change the dishes instead what they did was just reheat it and served again. I wasted 2100 rs and completely wasted my family outing. The next day we all had Stomach Upset. I have been reviewing restaurants and this is by far the worst! Do not visit this place.

Food is good as usual. Less crowd than usual due to pandemic, we travelled on Friday. May be the earlier charm is missing. I sincerely hope old days will be back here and everywhere.

The dhaba amenities are fine, and staff also, the. But dont like the price range which's not worth for food. Is the best taste and quality I would recommend to you visit rupali restro bar which 15 km from Toni da Dhaba. It's just way to dehuroad.

The place was so crowded that we had to wait for 45 mins outside. After finally getting a seat the food took another 40 mins to arrive. The taste was below average! Veg crispy was just pieces of capsicum and chillies fried in batter.

Cheap quality food served. Dal makhani has some kind of smell when complained. Lady over there started arguing.

Bakawasa taste wise now.so much food colouring.taste has gone to lowest level.not an hygienic place now.all goes to covid.may be their cooks have changed and money crunch at the place to maintain it properly.

Had been to this place on a Monday the 9th August 2021. Specially invited a friend there and had created a hype of how nice the food was as I had been there around 12-13 years ago. I personally feel ki "Uncle was better running the hotel than his daughter" Stale chicken was used for Chicken Rara, they price butter roti for 30 and butter Naan for 155, who in the world is dumb enough not to understand the math here and order a Naan. Also ordered a biryani as the gravy was full of stale chicken. Was served with Chicken Pulav and not biryani. As there was no biryani gravy served along with it as well as the rice was overcooked for the biryani, cooked in oil and not ghee, no fried onion in it and no saffron. Having so many Handi varieties and just 2 biryani varieties. PATHETIC PLACE, DONT EVER VISIT AGAIN. Complete tasteless food and not worth buying any of it.

The food was awesome. We had ordered chicken handi and chicken handi and chicken Kolhapuri. I an single dish 2 ppl can eat properly. Also butter naan and biryani were cherry on the cake. I would say the quality of the food is great no doubt in that, just based on the capacity of the people just take care of the quantity when you are going in group.

Food tastes were good but the rates were on Higher side too. Ambience is OK OK and the service were fast.
Tried Paneer Paratha @120 Rs and Veg Manchurian Soup @130 Rs with 12% GST on 27-Dec-2018. Totally we paid 268 Rs.

A nice cozy place with very good and responsive staff. If you happen to go by the old Mumbai highway, I would definitely recommend this place. They have made very good use of the available space, you don't feel cramped or uncomfortable during the time you spend there.

Went there for the much hyped Kadak Nath. The drive was great, so was there service. Food was good. The price is blown out of proportions and that was my biggest let down.

This dhaba just made because many people travel in weekend to lohgad fort and while returning people used to eat hear. The ambiance is good and spacious. Here food rate are very high not worth as food test is ok not that level. According my experience here rates are almost double.

Horrible! The food is half cooked.the balls in Veg Maratha were half cooked. (kaccha besan). Taste is also not up to the mark. Rates of the food in comparison to the quality is quite high! Very High rates!
I'm not going to visit this again.

Don't know what happened with TDD. I went there with high expectations based on my previous experiences. But I was very disappointed today. Very low standard food.

The food is amazing. Some serious punjabi stuff. A must visit this place, atleast once. And I am sure you will fall in love with it. The rabdi is out of the world. Delicious to the core. So is Jalebi, and butter chicken. Superb food.

If you are non-veg lover, try this place for duck and other speciality food vareities. Nice ambience with ample parking space.
