Turf Club House Restaurant

Has the vibe of a typical colonial era club or an armed forces club. Excellent venue and good food and service.

Excellent food as always.
The Chicken a la Kiev is to die for and so was the Roast Chicken and also the Hot Ginger pudding with honey.
But there was a downer
Yelling and screaming children continuously running around our table and their parents conveniently turning a deaf ear to that. The parents ought to teach them manners and how to behave in public and if they can't, then the Club should have a policy that "No Children allowed after 7 pm" or else designate a seperate space where they can yell their lungs out.

I always fall in love with this place. Especially I love the chilli vodka u serve. I love the ambience and food of this place.

Peaceful place to stay, rooms are excellent thanks to one member who has personally funded the renovation. Kudos Mr. Yohann Poonawala!

Food at the restaurant is decent, I guess 3.5/5. Breakfast needs massive improvement.

Waiters are all hopeless. They are now a little too cozy with their safe job.

Worst service, very rude staff, there was hair in food but still they were adamant and did not admit their fault. Food was cold, specially nonveg food was old and stinking. Water was served in old plastic bottles.

The club House restaurant has a very calm ambiance and the food is surprisingly good. Great coffee and ginger tea.

Lovely laid back ambience where you'd like to sip your beer in peace over a leisurely lunch. The cheese toast, fish fingers with tartare sauce and caramel custard are a must try!

Many foreign leaders, business tycoons, political personalities have visited this place.
Turf club had legacy of wide range of great chairman just like Vijaypat Singhania, Sirus Poonawala etc.
It's must visit place in Pune City.

Very poor service. So poor as if it's a Govt club. I would never like to go again. And very expensive. Waiters are absolutely useless.

It's situated near race course. Banquet halls are not too big. Banquet hall available indoor as well as outdoor.parking area is not too big.

It is a quiet and relaxing place. One can visit with family and friends. Mung dal pakoda were yummy.

Its overlooking the race course, has the old world British look and feel to the place; food and drinks are of course reasonably priced. Service needs to be quicker, you got to be in a relaxed mood to enjoy this place.

Nice ambience at entrance and inside this club house, existing from the British era. Food is both Indian and English. Service is reasonably quick with polite waiters. Good place to dine out. It is open to members and their guests only. Not open to public. It is attached ti the Pune horse race course which holds racing competitions in the monsoon season.

Great food and service! The arrangements made for the wedding reception were on point. Very helpful waiters and food counter operators. Very clean and well maintained rooms.

I had gone for a marriage reception. It was a small lawn for a small function. It was nice place. Parking was outside in the lane.

It's only for the members so if you have a friend or relative who is a member only then an entry is allowed. It's very serene, classy people and good food. One might get a bit buzzed off with buzzing flies but there is no control as its in nature though they have a fly repellent but flies outnumber it's capacity. Lovely food lovely biryani though their galoti kebab was a bit disappointing

Calm and serene place.
Lucky for members. Not a place with access for all. But needless to say an amazing place.
The service is good and staff is friendly.
Food quality is nice.not too fancy, Like the place.
The club overlooks a part of the race course and as I learnt it also has another part along with the race course stand.
They have a very well stocked amazing Bar.
So cheers on that.

And I thank our family friends for taking us out to such a great place.
Sometimes it's not just the food, the place, it's ambience, but everything together that makes it an evening to remember.

Overall I would visit it again, if I could.

It has always been a LOVELY place to stay whenever I came to Artificial Limb Center for fitting my limbs.
This time I had booked a Suite on First Floor in January 2018.
I had spoken to the staff 3 days back from Allahabad & was informed that I would be adjusted for 2 days in newly furnished Suite 5 on First Floor of the Club House.
On arrival, to my horror, I was given Dd7 - a room compared with my Servant QuaryeQ.
On my insistence, I was shifted to Cottage; bearable but ill furnished.
Hope management adheres to First Come principle of allotment.

The restaurant and the entire club needs a thorogh upgradation. It has badly clad waiters with bad service, but the food was not that bad. The rooms are jaded and old fashioned, with no updates as per today's times. The price, though reasonable, but still.considering the kind of stay and service a customer gets, its probably a better idea to pay a bit more and stay elsewhere, where food, service and lodging is bettter.

It's a very nice club at Pune. I celebrated New year there with family.it's having a decent crowd and good variety of food as per the occassion. I even compared at the party which was a real fun.it's the most affordable party where one can really enjoy and celebrate.will be looking up for many subsequent celebration at the venue.

This is a "members only" (Yes, in inverted commas) place, so I don't know how much this review will help.
However, if you know a member who's invited you for a lunch or dinner, do go. Lovely ambience and good food. Especially in the monsoon, overlooking the verdant race course and a views of the Empress Garden area, you won't have a more satisfying meal.

The first thing you should know about this place is that it's MEMBERS ONLY. Unless you do not have the membership, you cannot dine here. I've been to this place with a member, they serve great food and their menu is neatly designed. The view of the racecourse is great addition. Try and visit the place in race season and obviously with the club member.

Best club in india. Must visit for those who love art n culture. More than 100 year old. An heritage property.

My favourite family club! The quiet and old world charm brings me back repeatedly. And so does the food!
I gorge on their appetizers, some which are exclusive, like the cheese & cherry, served on ice, and onion rings that stay crisp till the last bite! The pakodas are a mixed surprise!

Good place. You need a membership or a card of someone who has a membership here. Plus you pay extra for visitor fee. Food is superb and inexpensive. Fish and chips is awesome. Service is a little slow. So take out time and have a peaceful time with friends and family there.

An excellent place but it is for members only unless a member takes you as a guest. It has accommodation where rooms are spacious and comfortable.
