Had an appointment last week. Very helpful and polite staff. Smooth functioning. Just one thing is that the first desk that checks documents is very slow as there is only one person. The rest is very upto the mark and clean office. Very well managed.

Fast service, staff helpful and guides throughout the process, easy collection for passport

The service is good at vfs and people of vfs are also good, some part of the building is under construction. Don't carry ur laptop else you have to pay extra money for locker.

My sister paid for the bronze package to complete her application process as soon as soon. But still she was told to wait for 30 mins, as she arrived 30 mins earlier than scheduled.

Service was fast. Even if I was late for the appointment they accepted my application. And the process was very smooth.

So the guards were keeping people standing on road.then it started raining so people were allowed to be in the portico. There is not much benefit if you reach early. Security would let you go inside 15 mins prior to schedule.

Then ground & first floor there where they have offices. Staffs of VFS were fine and welcoming.

Security guard won't let you stand near main gate if you are waiting for cab.

Prompt service. They have lots of personnel to guide you through the centre. A waiting area outside the centre would be really helpful.

We went for UK visa at the BKC VFS office. Firstly they make people stand outside on the road (which thanks to the rain was very muddy) instead of making them wait inside the complex. The guy at the entry counter blatantly lie about the waiting time (we were told 1.5 hours waiting before our turn) to lure people to go for the premium process and pay 3750 rupees extra. There was absolutely no waiting line in the standard process and we were done with the whole thing in 15 mins. Unnecessarily give you a mask which is not mandatory to be worn but we were just told “take it even if you don’t want to wear it”; absolute wastage.

Visa processing by VFS Global is streamlined, systematic, disciplined, organised and highly professional with courteous staff to get things done quickly, efficiently and effectively. Kudos Team VFS Global.

You aren't allowed to enter the building premises until it's time for your appointment & there is absolutely no place to que or wait outside, specifically for senior citizens; moreover parking is also not allowed outside the premises so waiting in your car is also not an option.

Very bad because one person is allowed other person can't enter near the building no waiting hall two person comming from other state one person is allowed other person to be on the road side no waiting hall better to improve

Only problem with this place is the absence of parking either paid or free. Right across, there are cars parked invariably with the chauffeurs inside, as it's a no parking zone.
So if you don't have a driver, keep your car at home and use Ola/Uber/ regular cab or auto rickshaw to visit.

Priority visa should arrive in 3-5 working days but it's been over 15 days and my sister's UK study visa still hasn't arrived. She had to cancel her flight ticket and and miss her classes. There's no communication from the visa centre and no update at all. This isn't expected after paying extra charges for priority visa.

Very good service. Check for privileged lounge service if you can afford it.also as i understand the Visa office has now started a service where they collect the documents from your house.kindly verify this information as it was not available 3 months ago, when i had applied for Visa

Visa processing staff is excellent
The VFS security staff seem confused and unaware of what needs to be x-rayed or size/type of bag permitted.
The collection counter staff is distracted by external activity rather than his computer.

Ensure face mask is present, avoid a bag if possible, else there is a locker facility with a charge.

Process: -
At entrance show letter of appointment to gate security, keep mask available.
Walk to lift on straight/right side
Go to 1st Floor
Que in line
Show appointment, visa form and match it on passport.
Go thru x ray metal detector
Go thru door on left at appointment time

At counter show your documents, avoid staplers, ensure only A4 zize, staff will arrange papers for you and give you a token number.

Go to seating area, when token announced audio/screen go to the counter, they will scan your documents, take payment and return documents back.

Passport will be put with form in sealed file and handed back.
When token number announced again, goto biometric room, give 4fingers, then thumb scan, digital signature, look in cctv cam and announce name, click photo, collect receipt and exit vfs.

The security staff are new and confused.

Well its on other side of BKC.on SCLR end. Better to go from SCLR if coming from Suburb/vashi/thane. Well parking is big question. Just for that one star less.
Neverthless if one can afford 3500/- opt for private lounge. One can relax and do visa formality, else wait in queue.

Everything was best but wanting outside the gate for entry in sunny was little bad

Straightforward processing. After 2 security checks and baggage scan, they let you inside. Mobiles are allowed. Laptops are NOT allowed. They have a locker facility which is ₹200 for 2 hours.

You then go for document verification. If you have already uploaded all documents, they verify it and process your application. If you have not uploaded it, they will upload it and charge you accordingly.
SMS charges for update on application is ₹150. Call+SMS is ₹200. If you want them to courier your passport after the process, that has additional charges as well. After document verification, you have biometrics and photograph taken. There are agencies offering Credit cards, travel cards and travel insurance outside.

It is a pathetic excuse in name of security by building management as the guards are super rude and they think they can even heckle a genuine applicant, they want prints or appointment letter, even after showing them digital copy on email.

It doesn't end there the customer service is way below standards and when choosing to apply for Visa processing there should be other alternatives as this is monopoly practice due to which they don't allow you to upload files in PDF format and let you be they want you to pay 750 bucks for scanning documents and 650 bucks for courier, which blue dart does in 200-250 bucks. So much from profiteering as a middle man. No ethics and responsibility to provide 5 star services with 5 star charges.

Seriously, if there was a direct option to submit to embassy people would Highly appreciate it

There's no number on which u can call and check the status. No mail. Nothing at all. I opted for fast track. Today's the 5th working day. Still waiting. And after having paid a bomb.

I reached an hour before my scheduled time and was allowed to go through the process, everything was carried out very smoothly and the people at the Visa office were also helpful. It's a long process, takes time but was handled very well.

Reach the visa office just 10 mins before your appointment time, its enough. Take an early morning appointment to avoid rush. Staff is very courteous and helpful.

Quick and efficient procedures. You will be through in 45 minutes to an hour. Clean and well designed office. Only problem is the lack of parking nearby.

Make sure you leave for visa appointment early than usual. Looking at the traffic coming to Bandra BKC you are tend to miss the appointment.

No solution for UK travelling people parking problem locality not so good Indian government should give them a good location near acb office worli or income tax office bkc and reaching at UK visa office presently not comfortable

Autos don't prefer to come to the visa office and charge between 120 to 150 from kurla station. Best option is travel by 310 if you have time

With VFS, when it works, it works great. But when something goes wrong, the customer suffers badly. You can not even phone and check. The phone numbers given on their website do not even exist. Why such horrible customer service helpline?

Worst service.i would suggest to go for another Visa center in Mumbai. They only know how to fetch money from their customers in different ways and don't bother to provide services in return.

The VFS UK Visa office has only one problem it's location. There is no parking available nearby and with construction work ongoing, the accessibility to transport options be it a taxi or public transport is severely restricted. In addition, the VFS UK website to book appointments, at the time I visited, was badly designed and barely functional

Not the best experience. Bad queue management, not very friendly. Doesn’t mention that Laptops aren’t allowed. So have to go out of the office to deposit it for a charge.

Pretty quick. The time spent at the application centre was not too long. However it took comparatively longer when I went to collect the passport as the staff doss not have a system in place to keep the passports received from the consulate, they literally search the entire lot every time, could be more organized. Calling for the passport via courier would be a better option.

I went for the UK & Schengen Visa in bkc. I am sharing my experience. No sun-shade or seating facility outside the gate, specially if you come at afternoon time you have to stand in a row outside in extreme heat. Parking also outside the building. It is too difficult when you have kids and senior citizen with you. They don't have extra special arrangements for the senior citizen, handicapped people, kids, new born babies with mother. Passport offices do have this system. Now they have scanning facility for every document. First you have to stand in row outside the gate to enter than for entering the visa room, than token line, than wait for the visa scanning line, than they have announcement & tv screen for token.you can wait for token number announcement and than biometric system. Just like adhar card. They should have extra arrangements for specially disabled. They take our passports with them. After 15 days you have to come to collect your passport, they also have courier service for same, charges Rs. 500/-. Sms facility Rs. 100/-.

UK process is very simple.
Note: First don't take laptop and and pendrive in your bag.

Only visa documents.
1) first check your appointment letter and passport.
2) take a passport courrior and sms form, visa form.only fill the courrior with SMS form
And tokan take.

3) tokan number is come after all documents given to counter people and pay the your passport courrior charge and SMS.approx 1000rs
4) after same tokan number next step your biometric data given people after he given to you visa paid receipt for courrior working 15days come after show receipt to courrior boy.
Approx 30min work.
