I ordered the speacial mix earlier and it had a case. Then I ordered sabudana vada also had a case in it. I told the waiter that I will tell your Sheth to which the waiter shamelessly said that tell me without compromise.
Everyone is requested to look carefully while eating the food here. Very disappointed with the food. Very bad experience.
Authentic & pocket-friendly Maharashtrian dishes. Tomato-potato curry and Usal/Misal is a must to order. Its been oldest in the vicinity, maybe since 20+ years and one of the cleanest place to have food.
The place is hygienic not very expensive though the prices are higher compared to a roadside stall which is pretty normal considering the locality and the cleanliness.
I was so desperate to have misal pav as it was a Maharashtrian hotel all around non maharastrian area but I was so unhappy after I took a first 'bite as it was sugar added misal pav means hope u understand
Toasted sandwiches were served clod. We ordered 5 of them not even a single was warm or hot. Piyush was out of stock so cannot review it. Lassi had an authentic taste and the 2 stars are just for lassi. With that kothimbir wadi was also good. Rest dishes we tried had an average taste.
Vinay health home is one of the oldest Maharashtrian eating outlets. You will get one of the best authentic Maharashtrian dishes, to satisfy the test buds. Must try Piyush, misal pav, kothimbir vadi and many more, the outlet is clean and hygienic.
Dine is not available at the moment. However takehome shop is open and the service is quiet fast at the moment which is the best part as it is always crowded. Quantity is bit less then dine in. However quality is still maintained and packaging is also well organized. So overall good experience.
Good Maharashtrian food. Try the misal, vada pav etc. But my only complaint is that it is a tad sweet, perhaps to suit the palates of the changing demography in this locality.
"Vinay health home" is an award winning restaurant. It's a pure veg restaurant with great cleanliness measures. The ambience is unique and interesting. They also have separate AC room. Talking about the food we ordered Special Misal paav and then Dahi wada plate. The taste is just awesome. You will experience the true taste of misal. Dahi Wada was also delicious. The staff is extremely co-operative and they also suggest the dishes to try. The table service is also very good. Overall excellent place for traditional Maharashtrian cuisine. Please do visit this place for some fabulous food.
Situated in the narrow lanes near bhuleshwar, this place is really famous for its Maharashtrian style eatery and trust me this place doesn't disappoint be it any item you order them from their Menu.
Always crowded with those food hoggers who are here for their excellent dishes. I myself have been enjoying their food since I was a kid and after all these years the food here is damn tasty.
Much recommended if you're at bhuleshwar (dont miss the place)
Wada wow.a very trendy name to Mumbai Cha wadapav.clean n hygienic place to have qada paav.churma wadapav is 2nd in mumbai After kirti collage.tastes superb.
No Social distancing been followed. Quality as well as quantity is declining. If you plan to have batata wada as a parcel then Pls be prepared for 30-45 minutes.
Absolutely love this place! Extremely low prices, I had a kotimbir vadi, Dahi misal, Piyush (a special thandai drink) and onion bhaji, it's one of the best places for misal in Mumbai. Worth a try
Excellen marathi food. Authentic taste and clean place to enjoy some good maharashtrian delicacies. Have visited this place twice and the service has been excellent. The food quality is absolutely fantastic and even if there is a wait for 10-15 mins, its totally worth the wait.
Delicious introduction to the food of Maharashtra. Kothimbir Wadi, Sweet pea pattis and misel pav were delicious. Really efficient and friendly service too. Mango lassi was the best we've had in our whole month here.
It has a good variety of Maharashtrian cuisine like misal pav, kothambir wadi, sahudana wada, piyus, thalipeth, etcand must try special misalpav very kind and thoughtful staff they don't change staff often
WINTER SUNDAYS are not meant only to doze off till noon
Rather step out early in the morning, travel by the Mumbai’s heartline - The Local
Hire a bicycle, ride through Marine Drive and endure the refreshing sea breeze & hog onto Maharashtrian breakfast
The service is pretty decent they dont take much time to place the order and the waiters are dressed in authentic Maharashtrian clothing with Gandhi topi as a headgear
Vinay Health Home is a must go for relinquishing on some Local Maharashtrian cuisine
Now this place is amazing! It is just can't be the taste and simplicity, it is the third generation legacy running this pure vegetarian restaurant. Be it is kind hearted, joking owner, typical dressing of the serving people or the menu, this place is epic! Must be on your charts if you are a good lover and like to try every vegetarian authentic dishes of this area. Misal can be a bit spicy. We tried Sabudana Vada which was great. Coffee was strong and I loved it. A MUST GO!
Extremely clean and well managed. I have been eating at this restaurant for about 15 years, and the place has maintained highest quality food at affordable prices.
Absolute must-haves: Misal pav Sabudana wada Kothimbir wadi
The misal is too hyped. Its sweet in taste. Even the usal ordered had a sweet taste. The farsan they give for misal is also sweet. Lassi is good, Sabudana wada, thalipith have authentic taste.
If you want some tasty maharashtrian dishes, visit Vinay. Being a die-hard dadarkar, I believed good marathi delicacies can be found nowhere else out of Dadar. But here's an exception. Good misal, sabudana vada, thalipith, guava ice cream, the best being kharvas; akin to pudding but better.
One of the famous restaurant from south mumbai. This is very busy place. This is famous for its superb and yummy misal pav and others snacks. Here you will get only finger liking snacks.
Everyone had written about the snacks available here. As they have all mentioned, very tasty snacks are available here. One should definitely try special chai here. You will enjoy till the last drop. Their chai is comparable to the likes of Sharmaji in Kolkata. While this place is a feast for your stomach, there is a very famous Balaji temple close by which is a feast for your eyes!
It’s a very popular place amongst locals for maharashtrian snacks. Famous for iconic dishes like Puneri misal, Usal, Wada, Piyush & Sabudana dishes etc. It’s always full with regular crowd pouring in. It’s well connected with public transport with BEST bus as well as taxi. It’s a delight joint for morning jogger’s and fasting people.
