New Kakatua Restaurant / Hotel Nilachal

They say that the outlet serves no onion garlic, pure Jain food; but what we found in our Thali was a whole leg of cockroach. My family insisted not to take a photo or create any fuss, so we walked out after pointing out the issue to the server. Unfortunately by the time we washed our hands and walked out no supervisor/ manager came and apologized to us.
I would certainly ask everyone reading this to not to eat at this place You don't know what way your food might be contaminated.

This place serves Pure Veg food without onion and Garlic. This place is located in the market area. They provide good tasting food at average prices. Toilets are available, parking is not available.

The service is horrible, the behaviour of the staff is very unprofessional and rude. The taste of the food is also not that good. They are changing 150 for a veg thali but as per price the food was not enough

Bad ambience and a very bad food quality. Dust and dirt evey inch of restaurent. Not recommended at all.

A metallic substance was found inside the curry. Noodles was present inside dal. So disgusting. Late service. No taste. No hygiene.

First of all the Thali system is a waste of money. Same expenses You can get 13 Parvan hotel near swarga dwar hotel. Other items are also a waste of money. For my opinion don't go to this hotel.

Service and food both are bad. They charge a lot of extra money they also don't tell u the exact bill

They are served pure veg food (pure veg means no onion, no garlic), so, don't afraid who are not eat no garlic and onion food. Good atmosphere, child friendly, staffs are so friendly, quality of food is good. But you waited for half an hour or an hour for your order take place in your hand because a huge crowd is took dine in this restaurant. Clean, hygienic place. Ideal place for

North Indians plz don't go there, they do not make good rotis, south dishes are good here like paneer Hyderabadi etc

Good for vegetarians, who even don't eat onion garlic.if you are searching spicy food with prompt service then this restaurant will not do Best preparation is vegetarian chowmin.

Order veg thali which is good in taste but the veg items are little spicy. Wait time is little more to get your meal. As mentioned there is no onion and garlic used in the food which can be considered good option for vegetarians.

The food quality has deteroriated.
We had to wait for quite sometime to get a seat. People were still having their meal and we kept waiting beside them.
On drawing their attention they didn't even pay any heed to my word's, suggested them to engage someone to manage queue/ and help guests to have a proper table. Sad state of affairs!

This is the a pure vegitarian resturant in Puri with a wide range of vegitarian options. We took a take away on first day Butter daal fry, roti and Gobi masala. The taste was awesome. Next day, we tried the thali and chilli Paneer with fried rice. Thali option was not that good and quite simple.chilli paneer and fried rice was ok ok. Still, I would recommend this resturant if someone is looking for veg option without onion and garlic.

The price of thali is overpriced and the food is not at all good. The staffs behaviour is also not good it took about 20 mins to get their attention for placing order. And after that got food after 20 mins not of our choice but theirs. Very bad experience I had with my family. I never write reviews but because of very bad experience I had to write this review. Not at all recommend.

Want to tell all tourist place avoid this restora. Food quality and teste is very bad. There are many veg restora but kakatua restora is most bad.
HATE KAKATUA VEG RESTORA.

Have you ever met a person who hates you for absolute no reason at all but will still talk to you invite you for hangouts.probably this is that type of restaurant.you will go over there because of the name kakatua.but you will find it difficult to actually find the restaurant because the owner thinks people should know their restaurant by birth.second of all you need to request the waiter if there is any to give you the menu.next don't waste time in finding the food you want to eat.see what the next person is eating and order it quickly.probably that's the only food available. OKAY SO YOU HAVE ORDERED. Now find some games or watch a episode of Netflix because you will easily finish stranger things while you get the food.so you see the surroundings by mistake while watching Netflix.u might find a museum of items from a historical building or monument.next about food.honestly they were out of stock of sugar but who cares u still can make food right.okay out of time give some uncooked food.if everything seems right till now.u might want to pay for the food u had out of self respect but wait you have a long queue and you have to request or butter the owner to take your money.but don't worry the good owner will give you 5 percent discount.because he won't give you a GST bill. HOPEFULLY EVERYTHING LOOKS RIGHT SO GO AND HAVE AN EXCELLENT FOOD EXPERIENCE IN PURI.

Food was good and tasty. That was the only hotel we had. Bcoz that was vegetarian hotel. You have to wait there for your food for atleast 40 minuts. Bcoz of the crowd over there.

Food was good. But very delayed service. Waited for an hour to get one and a half plate biryani and 15 mins more to pay the bill. So if you are visiting make sure you have enough time

One of the famous vegetarian restaurant in Puri. They do not use Onions and Gerlic. All types of the foods i.e Breakfast Lunch Dinner available.

Tastes are awesome (considering the same as Vegetarian). Different Chinese vegetarian food are also available like Chowmin, Veg Fried rice etc.

The prices are higher side which is the drawback of them.

If you are visiting you are recommended to taste atleast for once.

Worst, not higenic, totally unprofessional family business for short-term profit making.

The ambience and location of the restaurant is quite good. However, needless to say, food is very ordinary. The staff are also very slow in their service. Price is also a bit on the higher side. Overall, not a very good experience.

Worst restaurant, Owner is sitting for looting. Dont make digital payment at this place as they will say payment not received inspite of doing the payment.

Pure veg restaurant without onion and spicy food which I liked. The taste is also good. But you have to wait at least 15 min to 30 min max.

The food quality has deteriorated drastically over last few years. Still nostalgia took me there. Better to avoid this there are many options around.

Most third Class Restaurant in Puri. Managers and all Staff behaviour are very hateful. Food quality very cheap but price so high. After order they take to served food minimum forty-five minutes. Food quality and prolonged timings not questionable. Sorry to say Please avoid this place next time if you go to Puri.

This a Full Jain Vegetarian Restaurant without any use of Onion or Garlic. It offers quite good food but a little spicy. The Veg Thali is perfect at Rs 120 if you're looking for something to eat. Moreover, the prices are also quite less.

Horrible experience. Bad manners. Shame on U. Bad quality of food, khaja etc. Please stay out of it.

Too much crowds. Taste of the food is not bad. If you have lots of time in your hand then no problem.

Prices are so high, foods quality was not good, they focused more on Bengali folks there got only Bengali dishes, overall not good place
