Food quality is not value for money. The waiters are unprofessional. They ask u to take things by yourself rather than serving at table. Interior & ambience is very good. Good for experience.

This is a royal establishment located inside the Amber fort in Jaipur. This is located inside the former dining hall used by the Royal family of Jaipur. It’s a heritage property so you will see some antique decorations and period correct artifacts too. The food is excellent and is presented in a royal way. Overall a must visit for dinner if you are visiting the fort in the evening.

Great place for experiencing royal meal. They serve in silverware. Makes you feel like a royal family. It's costlier than other luxury restaurants, but keeping the location its all worth it

Well situated restaurant at Amber fort, good choice of food, great ambiance bit slow service.

This restaurant is promoting their business through fake reviews. Someone called me claiming to be representative of Firebelly and asking to give fake reviews for ₹150.

Absolutely stunning interiors with a feel of a haunted ambience because it's really far from the city in a huge fort. Well, we were the only guests in the restaurant at 9.10pm.then 2 tables joined but that's it.

This place can make you feel lonely and not worth a celebration even though the interiors are just amazing. We were there for my mom's bday and they dint even offer a congratulations or a piece of cake!

Food was okay.nothing amazing but not bad too! They don't have a liquor license so alcohol serving is limited with NO cocktail menu.

Price is fine too if you are going that extra mile for a dinner and service was not bad too with a tabla player and a singer for dinner.

But! I not returning back. Being the only table in a restaurant is uncomfortable for me if we have driven out of the city for 30 min.

Getting an uber post dinner is pretty tough so carry your own reserved driver or car.

1135 AD in Jaipur is a fantastic place for fine dining. I recently visited and was blown away by the amazing food - every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. We Just left 1135AD after a Family Dinner.
The FOOD QUALITY is NOTas they claim.
Neither the Ambience nor the Service is what one looks for. They just had Two Person in the Entire Resturant to Take order and Serve.
They overcharged almost 50% as what the Menu card depicts on Eazy diner.
Even Local Dhabas serve better quality of food as they do.
It's a SHEER WASTEof Time, Money and effort to visit such a Place

The restaurant is located inside the palace itself. Do not follow the maps if you are inside the palace and looking to go this restaurant it will redirect you to a longer route. Better to ask a local or at the ticket counter.
The restaurant is just too expensive, taste is okayish and if you are specifically looking to have traditional Rajasthani food you can go for it, but there are many places far better than this in terms of experience, taste, ambience etc. The service was good with rocket high prices. I didn't find it worth. But yes, If you are looking to get a feeling of royalty you'll surely get a touch of it. (I am still in doubt though)

Most royal place where one can get food. Inside amer fort. Beautifully maintained. Very polite staff. Though the prices are high but it's inside a fort which justifies it.

Royalty. Inside and out.
We had thaal-e-jodha with veggie varieties. Dal and paneer were real good. It also included Potato, ker sangri, gatte. One paneer tikka piece.
In Desserts we had kheer and gulab jamun. Yup, they were tasty.
And yes it's pricey. But hello people! It's Amer!

Environment is beautiful but don't order the Rs 2500 non veg Thali. The food arrived lukewarm and the dhal was so cold I asked it be reheated and of course it arrived overheated when returned. The other surprise was how little was on the silver trays. It consisted of three moderate cubes of the famed lal mas and one chicken thigh. That was it for the meat. Nothing had any form of garnishing and the veg was one kofta ball, spinach and corn, a very ordinary cauliflower curry and the dhal. All of which were in no way better than any standard North Indian restaurant. The various breads were all excellent. Now came the dessert, and it was the worst I have ever had. A watery concoction of ground rice, barely sweet with the mildest hint of saffron. Yuk, couldn't take more than a bite. My friend had a good mutton curry and throw in a couple of sodas and it's just under 60 usd. Dreadful.

We ordered Tandoori bateyr and found not only one but 5-6 hair on it and when we told the staff about it, they did not even get any replacement and the service was way too slow, considering that we were the only guest in their restaurant.

On 5th March 2022, we had a booking at this restaurant for dinner … unfortunately we found no one ready to receive us / get us a menu card at least until the next 20 minutes.when requested a table for two, the table wasn’t ready.we were asked to sit on a table for 6 pax, with half the cutlery missing … after the starter arrived, we had to ask for a napkin at least three times, until we received paper serviettes …. If this is the service we come to receive at such a high quality restaurant, its highly disappointing…
Next time before you come, do think twice.

Horribly overrated and overhyped.
Simple restaurant type food passed as royal dining experience with exorbitant prices.
Food is ok and nothing great.
We got Punjabi dishes (we got paneer lababdar Palak lasooni and dal makhani) as a part of authentic Rajasthani thali!
Extremely lethargic, unclean and unprofessional staff!
Only thing good was the ambience but we were made to sit in a small room which made us feel intensely claustrophobic.
Whole experience took 5 good years of our life and simply sucked away the delight we were experiencing in this Jaipur trip!

A very peaceful and quiet place with a very royal seating aesthetic.
It's hard to get a cab once you're up here so make sure you book one beforehand!

Veg Biryani which had that kewda flavour was authentic. The layered Roti was just too light n soft to eat Just one flaw that service was not upto the mark. But overall the experience was wonderful n awesome

Was visiting india after a long time and was fascinated with Jaipur and its details and food. Wanted to visit this place as it combined both- good food and its intricate details of the interiors. Food was good but the interiors of the restaurant was the star!

So much potential this place as, but so dissapointing what they have done with it.

Yes its inside Amer fort, yes the decor is chic, yes a lot of celebrities have eaten here in the past.

BUT!

- Place is hard to find as the roads are narrow and once you enter the fort area you dont know where exactly to park. A few signboards could help people
- the food is mediocre.
- the waiters just come and leave the food on the table and dont bother serving it.
- the washrooms smelled so bad I went through hell for the 30-40 seconds i spent there freshening up.

IN SHORT DONT WASTE YOUR TIME TRYING TO FIND THIS PLACE CLIMBING ALL THE WAY UP TO JUST EAT OK OK FOOD.

This probably is the worst restaurant I've been. People here doesn't know how to serve. Everything is overpriced and tastes below average. My entire gang got food poison after eating here. And the toilet reeks from outside. Never go here

Worst place for dinner. No cool ambiance to enjoy. Worst service. Although plates are not properly washed. Don't waste your money and time to visit this place.parking is also big issue.

The place is fine. The great thing about this place is location and views.
However, the food is average. It's not the royal food that you will pay for. Or the menu will make you believe.
Please note the food is not bad. It's good, but it's the regular restaurant food that you can get anywhere in city.

The place is undoubtedly the best one if you wish to experience royal Jaipur vibes. The staff is courteous and the food is also amazing. I would say the menu is quite limited and that is quite common at such places. The quantity was a little less we felt, and one thing that should be mentioned is that the Shahi Tukda for dessert is something that everyone might not relish as it is not at all sweet and feels bland in taste.

Very royal experience and highly recommend a dinner here if you are staying in jaipur even for one night. I had Laal Maas here which as delicious and the best goat meat i ever had. Subz Biryani was little on Blend side and i wont recommend it. Badam shorba was Very tasty. I still Dream about the Laal maas and rumali roti combination. Service was good.the food was served to us within 10 minutes. The billing took a bit longer than expected. We had to ask the waiter a couple of times before he gave us the bill and we didnt wanna be late to catch our flight. Interiors are very royal. Truly felt like a king having dinner inside the fort.

If you want to have royal experience of dining then this is one of the best places in Jaipur. 1135 Ad, restaurant inside Amber fort not only provides you with royal experience, but also provides you delicious food. The food is a bit pricey and the quantity of food was also less. The ambience was too good and one can also see Maharani Gayatri Devi's private room above it. Overall great experience and one should visit at least once if in Jaipur.

Adjectives like regal, elegant, ornate and royal, fall short of describing the magnificence of its interiors. Among the best places to eat in Jaipur, this one is just perfection! Transport yourself back in time and bask in the glorious Rajasthani culture and dine like the Maharajas while losing yourself in the live music that compliments the appetizing food served hot and regal!

An amazingly​ memorable experience, with great ambience, incredible service and a very private tour of a part of the fort! Would recommend people to have dinner here, but come a little early when there's still light and watch them slowing illuminate the restaurant and the fort! It's a breathtaking view and also buy a Rs. 100 ticket to view the fort lit, great way to pass time while waiting for your food and drinks!
Note: They serve only beer and wine in alcohols and carry cash, just in case as their system doesn't receive signal, at times.

Ambience was Royal. Infact accidentally tumbled upon it as i was looking place to keep my bags ;) In the end they kept my bag till i roamed around the fort.

Well, for all the hype on the internet, this turned out to be a typical restaurant going by fine dining concept - that is, charge more and give less! Food quality was quite ok though obviously they do not understand the simple request to put less chillies! Service was quite efficient until one asks for the bill, which takes a long, long time. Their internet connection is patchy, so credit card payments take a long time. Ambience is quite good though one wishes there were a few less photos of the royal family peering at you trying to enjoy a quiet meal. Do go at least once, not many people do, but for a single experience it is quite ok. The menu reads Jodhpur but rest assured, it is in Amer Fort only.

This place was absolutely awesome! Gave a glimpse of how royalty dined. Luxurious experience! Silver furniture, Belgium lamps, pictures of the who's who of the world who have dined in this beautiful place. The owner of this beautiful restaurant was present to make sure all was working smoothly and even informed that he himself makes 2 signature dishes from the royal recipe treasure everyday so that they are always evolving and learning. Great place and a must visit if you travel to Amber fort, Jaipur!

The food wasn't that upto the mark the ambience and the aura was good but the food was not worth it at all

The location is beautiful, we really enjoyed the food (order the Thall-e plate) and our waiter Manuj took excellent care of us!

Tried the non veg platter, because to wanted to try all varieties. Everything taste was good. But quantity for price is Not worth. 2000rs. So end up buying biriyani. It was flavourful

Went all the way to the place from airport hungry since morning (no breakfast) due to so much of name, reviews. Checkd on Zomato, tripadvisor, facebook page and no prior reservation was needed. On reaching the place at around 2 pm we were informed that the place was closed for customers today beacause of some party in evening. We requested that have travelled very long to enjoy the food over there, but the person in charge (old guy) was very rude. The old man was not even ready to listen to customers and instead was blaming that we should have called and reserved first.

So not sure about the food as were not able to get any there but customer service was definitely poor than a road side vendor. Not sure if people in this line are required to be reminded values of customer service.

If I was only reviewing food I would give this a 2.5 rating but the service really brought the rating to a one star. I've never experienced such disinterested, rude staff in my life. They decided to seat us after harassing us about not having a reservation and then proceeded to treat us poorly while we were dining. We had to ask for everything including water and it seemed as if they wanted us to leave the whole time. All the other tables were given a full menu to look through and were informed of all menu items in a kind manner! We noticed that many tables were empty so there clearly were not reservations. Seems like they judge you by your Race/how you look to decide whether the place is "reserved" or not. I don't like that attitude especially when we are paying an exorbitant price for mediocre food.

My wife and I came for dinner here. We originally had a table on the terrace booked, but had to move indoors because of rain and wind. Nonetheless, this did not take away from the exceptional level of service we received from Rajpal Singh and Navratan Singh. These guys were super friendly and welcoming and we made conversations easily. They looked after us like I haven’t experienced anywhere before. The food was great. Flavor was on point. The ambiance of this place very royal so be dressy when you show up here. We left with our bellies full and would come back here. Keep in mind you will have to pay an entrance fee for the palace to get to this restaurant.

Worst place ever. Avoid if you dont want to get sick. They serve stale food. Kitchen is highly unhygienic with insects. The company owning the place has gone bankrupt and owe lakhs of rupees to their vendors.

3 stars only for the ambient and location. Else food is pathetic and service sucks. Super late service. Doesn't care for customer.
