Beautifully maintained garden and open air restaurant, starters are average, main course is so- so. It's just the beautiful ambience of the place that makes up for everything. Staff is very cordial.
Beautiful place with picturesque views. Food was above average not wow! Ait is outside city so it's best to have your own car. Other modes are decently expensive.
Great heritage vibes with okayish food, covid measures being taken care of for exploring the other parts of the property you need to get a written statement from the reception else the guards will not allow you to roam freely
We had kebabs which were amazing. They ensured each table had a bonfire since it was cold. Dhirender ji who was our waiter was polite. The GM - Mr. Jitendra Shekhawat was courteous and made us feel like part of their family. Must visit.
Forget Taj Jodhpur, if you have not been to this place, you have not seen the real heritage of jodhpur. Stay at here, eat the great food. Enjoy lake, garden, lavish hundreds of years old culture. Its a historical place where the time has stop. For you. Go enjoy.
Beautiful ambience & great service! Menu included known rajasthani delicacies that were cooked to perfection. The best part of the place is the soothing live music played by artists. We enjoyed a lot! Cheers
This place is extremely beautiful and charming in its own sweet way. With continuous melodious sarangi being played in the background of tranquility and bonfire and candle is one such experience one just cannot miss.
The kebab platter, lal maans and dessert are the most loved items on their menu. Their cheese naans with black lentils is another delicious serving to order.
Considering the ambience, gentry and the quality of food and service they offer, price charged looks so appropriate. Would recommend everyone to give this place a try on some fine evening.
Excellent place to work in. I'm a chef at Balsamand Lake Palace Jodhpur, and the greenery inside the hotel is insane. Around 80 % of the vegetables are grown here and at present, trust me, it's heaven for those who like to eat naturally grown vegetables without any pesticides or injections. And Kebab Korner, the open restaurant, is one of the best restaurants in all Rajasthan. So if u wanna experience the true royalness and freshness of food with nature by your side, with romantic candle light diner, there is no other better place to go than this. You will love it because I'm too picky and that means that whatever i like is either rare or absolutely mindblowing.
Property is good and huge, but out on the city, food is very expensive, service is ok. But morning Breakfast is good and services also. But hospitality is not up to the mark.
Bal samand is a beautiful resort type hotel with a huge garden and villa type resort rooms. Mornings can be very pleasant if anyone decides to take a walk. We can see peacocks, birds, rabbits horse drawn carriages etc. There is also a pool and nice buffet breakfast.
Amazing place that has really great ambience. Bonfires to keep you warm. Nice and quiet because everyone sits far away from each other. Their tikkas and Dal are really good and it's worth a visit if you have the the and money
We stayed two nights in the garden rooms of this 60+ acre summer palace. Lake, peacocks, Marwali horses, monkeys, and a hunting lodge (now the suites) - this hotel had it all. The garden rooms were remodeled from old stables, we understand - now comfortable but a little age-worn. Breakfast was excellent with a wide assortment, while garden dinner by candlelight was a treat with bonfires throughout- to note, the brownies with ice-cream was truly delicious. Service was impeccable. All in all - a most unusual stay
An awesome place to spend your holiday. The deluxe room price starts from 3K for 2 people. The resort is enormous! They have lake side view, you'll find out different species of birds flying around you. A large number of peacocks murmuring around. I personally spotted a cute baby Owl, lots of peacock and some flying parrots.
They have a restaurant where you can visit, irrespective of the stay though you're not allowed to roam in their campus. The food tastes really good but quite expensive.
Polite staff, great food, provides live music, a terrace and tables lit by candles at night. Although I found the prices a little higher than the food deserved but then the calm and peaceful place it is, pays up for it.
It's a nice place. You must reach there by time and the beautiful sunset from the top of balsamand lake. It has a limited menu but a good one. Must try the dal makhani here. Also the tandoor are very good. The staff is also very helpful. Although this time I went with an argument with the manager. But that happens. Nit a big deal.a bit more costlier So overall must visit
