Oldest and Yummiest Breakfast Place! Authetic rajasthani kachauries and dhokla. Must try The chutney's here! Rice balls are Amazing. Its very pocket friendly so try one of each thing in the menu!
One of the oldest shops in Udaipur selling sweets and snacks. Went there for a quick bite but ended up having their famous Kachori, Dal Kachori & Samosa. I preferred Dal Kachori over the normal one.
Also, really liked Kaju Patisa from JMB which I also took back home.
Good food.bad service. It was our first experience of dal baati.but they didnt serve it properly.with my collected knowledge.i knew the dal should be hot and topped with ghee.but we got to ask for everything.i feel when a tourist eat a local food the restaurant people should be give you a pleasant experience.dont Rajasthan invite and welcome tourist. "padhaaro mare desh"
P.s. Guess many more Dal baati to taste for the authentic experience
Not good Food* the touring auto's will take you there as they may be commission bound. I had mirchi vada, khaman, all were worst in taste Note*-Taste is subjective
Me and another friend who is also a woman went to this place just a day before holi around 8: 45 pm. We asked for 2 plates of rasmalai. Not a single guy offered to serve us as they bypassed us to pack sweets for male customers for quite some time. There was not a single female customer. When I went to speak to the man at the counter then he also hardly looked at me so I shouted out and said.please keep some women workers in your shop who will listen and serve women with respect. Then disgusted I left. It was disgusting to see such misogyny since Udaipur majorly thrives on tourist. Since it was late, we should have been served first but only regressive men are employed here who are not used to serving Indian women.
Awesome place to try authentic rajsthani dishes. Every tourist must visit this place. Staff is welcoming and courteous and always encourages to try out new dishes Kaju soan papdi is a must
Good variety of sweets but 4 stars for their local snacks variety. They serve almost all kinds of local snacks. Easily accessible but sometimes gets crowded.
