The cafe is located at a prime spot. The views are amazing. Especially at night. The food here is average. The staff and service was not so good. We were not allowed to occupy the seat of our choice even when the cafe was not at all crowded.

This lakeside cafe has stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. The menu has a variety of fresh dishes, while the decor has a tasteful beachy vibe. However, the preparation of food may take some time. Despite this, the beautiful scenery and quality of the food make it worth the visit.

My recent visit to this cafe was a lesson in terrible customer service. The waiters were not only rude but also seemed to go out of their way to be inhospitable. It was as if they were trying to discourage us from ever coming back and definitely we are not going back. Also, my taste buds were in shock when I tried the dishes like lasagna. It was not at all delicious. Only the pancakes were yum.

Save yourself the trouble and skip this cafe. The staff isn't outright rude, but their lack of enthusiasm is off-putting. The food is lackluster, and the prices are so steep that it feels like you're being taken advantage of.

This place is out of the world.
It is best place that I have visited in my life for food and scenic views.

This restaurant was terrible. The waiters were really mean and didn't care about the customers. They made us feel unwelcome, and to top it off, they charged me 180 rupees for a can that's supposed to be 50 rupees!

I'd say this place is kinda meh. The staff doesn't exactly roll out the red carpet, and the food is just okay. But when you see the bill, you'll probably raise an eyebrow.

Where do I begin? Located in bylanes you need to climb up 5 floors (quietly). It felt like it worth by looking at the view. It's really nice indeed! However, the happiness was short lived as the waiter was least interested in making us sit (there were 2 empty tables).

After calling a few times the waiter came in and took the order. It took about 30 mins to get Chai and starter which was passable. We also ordered a sandwich which never came. After an hour I inquired, the guy said that he forgot with a straight face. It finally came after a long time (again passable) but we lost the mood to eat. The place really needs to train their staff.

Bhai kis baat ka itna attitude hai? Be humble. You are catering to tourists.

Worst cafe visited ever. No food quality. Staff was so rude. Very much expensive.
They just use syrups in everything. Nothing special just visit for the view and to take pictures.

This place have a good view but you should only visit during sunset. Otherwise you will not like it It is very small place so there is no space in sitting it feel very uncomfortable. Staff is not that good food is good.

Pizza here is a must try, especially Green Herbs.
Lasagne and shakes are good too. With the classic ambience, it will be a nice place to enjoy the sunset.

An amazing lakeside cafe for some drinks and woodfired pizza. Great peaceful ambiance and multi level rooftop and lakeside sitting. Usually crowded but we got a romantic corner lakeside table on a summer weekend. Overall its a decent place to spend time in udaipur old city near lake.

Nice views from the top floor, you may prefer to book in advance. Each table gives a satisfactory view and seatings are comfortable.

The hospitality of the cafe is extremely poor. The staff is very rude and they don't treat you nicely, one the staff members even go to the point where they asked us to clear the table while we were still having the food. Highly disappointed.

The worst place, I have ever visited with my three female friends. The waiters do not have sense how to talk with female customers. Even they have cancelled our order after waiting for 1 hour just for their so called low quality sitting area, Even the manager is taking side of the waiters. They are talking to us rudely and after that they also forced us to leave without taking our meal and even forcing us to pay the bill. And not a single person even their helped us they are just enjoying their meal.

We had blue slush and there was some plastic kind of a thing in that slush and the staff didn't accepted the fact that the slush was not at all drinkable and instead of reviewing the same they asked us to pay whole amount.

Very unpleasant experience -
1. Charged incorrect amount, no bill given. On enquiry about the same, no attention paid until I indicated that the menu shows different prices.
2. Deducted 2300 instead of 230 bill through contactless payment on card, thankfully I checked in time and reversed the transaction.

No doubt food and the view is on ultimate level. However there’s always been issue with payment method. Just yesterday (30/3/22) iv been there and it was the second time I had issue with payment. Way back in January also they denied card payment saying the machine isn’t working and they literally compelled me to go find an atm n withdraw cash n return back to do the payment.
Even yesterday, They only had a card swiping machine and since there was no electricity they blatantly refused even to reveal their upi Id for online payment and expected us to literally go to the atm and withdraw cash and come back and them in cash.
On repeated insist they reluctantly agreed to connect the swiping machine to mobile hotspot (which they could have done earlier too) and do the necessary payment.
The person on the counter probably the manager was very rude and insensible in this matter. He was literally so adamant that we go to the atm withdraw cash n pay in cash only wen they could easily use hotspot to connect the swiping machine n do the payment. On their defence they mentioned that they have clearly mentioned “only cash payment “ tag on the front entrance door. Iv taken the picture of the door n uploaded along with this review. There was no such notice regarding accepting only cash as the payment method on the door.

Undeniably dining at this place is a beautiful experience but if the owner can look into the hospitality of the staff the manager especially and adopt various payment Methods so that the customers don’t have to face such humiliating experience as I hv experienced yesterday.

Asked us to vacate while we were dining. Staff always misses to get the right bill and is insistent that we leave while we hadn’t done dining.

Their staff is very rude. The beautiful location is the only thing that adds to the experience, but god forbid if you decide to stay for a little extra time after having your coffee and food. They don’t know how to treat people properly which is sad.

It's a beautiful cozy cafe by the Pichola lake with good food but a rude and cold operator. Straight away lied on my face about having wifi when I asked them for the password because the connection was showing on my phone.

Usually a very busy place, their food is strictly okay and I found that the staff is careless. In my view there is unnecessary hype created about this place.

The cafe has a good lake view, people wait to sit on the rooftop for the view, but it is equally beautiful down as well. The place is bit expensive if compared to normal cafe's, but there is no compromise with the taste, it's really good! Worth going atleast once!

Loved the view from the roof. The cafe at the ground floor was also good but the view from the roof is better.

Too much waiting time, they do not let you to open your laptop in case you have something urgent to do.

I ordered Sizzler and Spaghetti. Spaghetti tasted good but Sizzler on the other hand was horrible. It was all cheese and curry. I felt uneasy the same day I had the food and a few days later, I started experiencing Stomach cramps which led to Food poisioning ultimately.

Well it’s a good cafe and they serve good food and coffee. What I disliked the most and perhaps biggest turn off was the location of this cafe and the route to reach their. It is within the old city, where no car can reach. Only way is through auto rickshaw!
It is beside some lake which is smelly and not worth looking at!

Worst Experience ever! The food has become pathetic now I agree it used to be great when the cafe was just new but now it's quite the opposite. Not to mention the place is very congested. Trust me this place used to be my go-to two years back. They don't even let you sit there after you've just finished your meal. This happened with me and my friends as well. They ask you very rudely to pay the bill and just go. No manners or respect for the customers whatsoever. I'm really disappointed with my recent experiences. Let's talk about the food now. It doesn't taste nice at all, Their pizza and Oreo shake used to be my absolute favourite but The food tastes so bad idk if they changed their chef or what. I hope they take this constructive criticism a bit seriously and Improve these aspects.

Food is good. We eat harmony pizza which is so good. But the service is really bad. The staff is very rude. While we finished eating they suddenly put the bill and said pay the bill ma'am the people are waiting. If we are coming to restaurant for enjoyment and peace we need time to chill and sit but they just treat very rudely and like untrained staff.

What an amazing cafe! Brilliant food, excellent location and mind blowing view of the lake. We ordered wood fire margarita pizza, falafel wrap and chocolate pie. All were super delicious and the best I've had.

This coffee Bar is amazing it has possession of something that no one else can give you a sight for your eyes better than the 'Jheel Ginger coffee bar'. Food quality is good to offer a variety of coffee.

It could have been 5star, but staff is not trained for hospitality, rather would say rude. Apart from that rest all is good food, taste and views. Cleanliness can be better. Avoid guests stopping on stairs, can be dangerous as they ar quit narrow if u wanna go on higher floors. Better reach on foot or two wheelers, car can not reach there.

It's a nice little cafe literally on Pichola Lake itself. The outdoor seating touches the pichola lake. Food is also nice, not extraordinary, but good. Prices are little bit higher, but the experience is worth.

Place need a staff replacement, they are so annoying that you get uncomfortable eating your own food that you've paid for, ridiculous!

Pathetic experience - First, the options on their menu are so limited such that i can list them here - sandwich, pizza, pasta and coffee.
Second, they expect you to eat the food very quickly and just leave the place immediately. We ordered coffee that took awfully long to arrive (around 50 mins). And in between that they kept us pestering to order more. We finished the coffee in 10 mins and left this place.

P. S. - We went to sun n moon rooftop after leaving here which is nearby and they served us fantastically. Chirag cafe nearby is also a nice option.

The staff is completely illiterate and does not no anything about hospitality, they are always on the head of customers and they do not feel joy in serving the customers, it feels like they are forced to do this or just doing for doing's sake.

Cute cafe with fantastic food, though a little expensive. We went in for brunch and they have multiple floors to get the lake pichhola view. The view is fantastic, even if the lake is not as maintained as expected. The lanes to reach the whole area is narrow, so suggest to take a 2 wheeler on rent rather than driving any car. The staff was also courteous and polite and service was decent, faster than other places.

The rooftop restaurant is an ideal place to experience the sunset with mouth watering italian delicacies with an obvious indian touch.located adjacent to the lake, the staff is extremely polite and accomodating and you can witness the warmth in their demeanour.the quality and portions along with the hygeine were duly maintained and worth their price tags.a must visit

The staff is very rude, All the restaurants are rooftop in udaipur, all of them are overpriced like this one. Just go to any of them. I do not going to a cafe whose staff is rude. I entered and asked them for a table, no response. I asked can we search on rooftop, they said it's full and didn't tell us if we should wait for it to clear, will they tell us when it will have a spot or not.

The staff that we talked to was not that busy that they couldn't answer us this one simple thing

Food is good but staff is unbelievable, I want the owner to read this that i have really bad experience for the last three times, ive been a regular customer for about 4 years now and past experiences force me to never visit the cafe again, your staff's behavior is so rude and they need to be taught some hospitality otherwise you will keep losing your cliental, me and my friends have decided to never visit again and for sure i will never recommend anyone else to visit it either.

Beyond words ambience of the lake side area on ground floor. Best lemon ginger honey tea. Great pastas and pizzas. Rooftop ambience is also nice.

Best place in udaipur to hangout with your friends in weekends. I have been to this place thrice and totally loved it.
The food, the view, the vibe everything is amazing there.
Best time to visit this place is right before sunset so that you can enjoy your tasty meal watching sunset near lake pichola.

Very Nice Lake side cafe near Lake Pichola. Nice spread of food, good ambience and a spectacular lake and city view from this place. One of the problems with the cafe is that if you want to go to resturants on the 4th and 5th floor, there is no life. However, the ground floor resturant offers a better view with good food! Overall a must have experience!

They entertained only foreginers. The tables were not booked but they put reservation on every good table so that only foreginers can have the view. Good Ambience and food. But a price is at a higher end. Probably cause of the ambience created by the foreigners coming there. It offers a good, but not unique view of Pichola Lake as there are many other restraunts offering a similar view, giving food at a more reasonable price.

The food is customised as per the taste of foreign Nationals and no spices at all. Options are so limited that you may end up ordering a stupid sandwich.

One of the most famous cafes in Udaipur. Its by the lake side and has amazing lake views. I would recommend takinga seat either on the ground floor, by the lake or at the top floor. It is a small building (area wise) and has a few floors to compensate that.
The staff is pretty friendly and responsive.

We had a great breakfast at this place which has sitting on the ground floor, at a lounge on the lake and on the rooftop. We choose the rooftop despite the many stairs to climb.

I visited this place few days back and i was suggested to go there by some local person of udaipur. I went there evening and it has beautiful ambience and lake veiw. Food is very tasty and staff service is very good. Service is also quick. I must suggest before going keep seat reservation before going as it is always crowded. I was staying on other end of Udaipur and came here twice just for the food and view.
Food is just the best here plus the lake view makes this cafe more enjoyable. I had an exotica Pizza and Oreo shake. Trust me I am from Delhi and never had such amazing Oreo shake.

An amazing rooftop cafe in Chandpole with a killer view of Lake Pichola. Had a beautiful and the most peaceful candlelight dinner with some childhood friends and we lived some of the best memories over that meal.

Veg Wood fired Pizzas extremely thin crust and loaded with veggies. Super awesome.

Veg Lasagna in Alfredo Sauce - go for it only if you have a huuuuuge appetite for Cheese. Must try for Cheese Addicts.

Grilled Veg Sandwiches - not a dinner item but we tried and weren't dissapointed.

Watermelon and Green Apple Mojitos - had to repeat these drinks. They were that good!

Jheel is very highly rated on Zomato and deserves all the hype that it gets.

Service is flawless. Full points.

Lovely little water front cafe, but you might need to fight for the good seats. Real espresso (no instant here), the paneer sandwich was tasty, and I was happy with the muesli and yogurt (be prepared that it's probably not the muesli one would expect in other countries, but it was a good way to start the day). Service wasn't super fast, but the food reached us eventually.

Nice view from the top floor. Wish they wouldn't allow smoking there! All the dishes we ordered very very good & the frappes were excellent. Highlight was the pastry in the end. Very friendly staff. Quick service.

Poor service. Rude staff specially Pushpendra. Ordered egg supreme sandwich which mentioned lettuce, honey mustard and Mayo. When they didn’t have honey mustard, they themselves put the mustard instead which turned the taste upside down. That too a lot of it that the taste was overpowered by mustard. There was no mention of to tomatoes anywhere yet the sandwich was completely filled with it. Strange to me that they do not follow at all what is written on their menu. Please be double curious while ordering and confirm with waiter twice thrice becuSe they seem to be unapologetic about it.

Getting here was a bit tricky but at the end it is always worth it.

We ate lunch on the top level. Great views. Sandwiches are tasty, and the sauteed vegetables was a healthy and delicious meal for anyone craving their daily serve of veggies
