Jhumar Restaurant (Online Food Order/Best Lakeside/Veg /Non Veg/ Home Delivery/Udaipur)

Had an amazing time at this restaurant! The scenery is beautiful and the food is delicious. The staff was very helpful and made extra efforts to make us comfortable We would especially like to thank Amar who was very enthusiastic and friendly. We would recommend everyone to visit this restaurant when in Udaipur.

We came here on our last day and the food and our server Aman was great! They even had live music. You also can’t beat the view
We tried the Jungli Mass which was unique to Udaipur. We highly recommend.

Food is very good. It is just located beside Fateh Sagar Lake so view is great. Service is also good

This is a nice restaurant and have visited everytime in our visit to Udaipur. It's opp Fateh Sagar Lake and has a good view. Food is always good. Punjabi food as well as Daal - Bati is also available. Staff is also cooperative and cordial. A bit high on price but worth visiting. Parking is bit of a problem.

It is one of the best places to dine, with the view of the Fatehsagar lake. Food is absolutely great, and so is the ambience. There are two levels, better to go on the higher roof top.

This lake facing restaurant serves good Rajasthani Food.their Rajasthani vegetarian meal and mutton lalmas were good. Service at this place was reasonably quick, and staff members, courteous.

I visited this place noon time around 11 am. I asked for a veg thali for Rs 550 and for a masala soda.
I was served stale paneer curry with daal and grated salad. The masala soda was canned nimbooz. Not sure if this place used to be good but due to off season they are not what they used to be and have started swindling customers. Horrible experience.

Ambience is good and the view is 5/5 though.

The Location of this restaurant is perfect if you want to enjoy the view and beauty of the fateh sagar lake. Food was good I ordered Dum Aloo and vegetable makhani. Dum Aloo's gravy was too yummy and spicy I loved it.

One of the best locations with a view of Fateh Sagar Lake. The ambiance is basic, but the cuisine is excellent. Daal Bati, Churms, Gatta, Kel Sangri, and an assortment of Bakeri, Jawari, and Missi rotis were served with the Rajasthani Thali. All of the dishes were delicious and met my desire for Rajasthani cuisine. Above all, they serve authentic Jain cuisine without compromising on any aspect.

Jhumar is located aptly, as it gives the lake (Fatehsagar) view. Soothing ambience, one can feel calmness here. We tried Daal Bati Churma here and it turned out to be delectable. Service is nice. Note- One plate of Daal Bati Churma can be enough for two people. Just loved it.

One is gonna love the location. It's right besides the FatehSagar Lake and offers awesome views. You can just sit by and chill.

But the ambience is not good. They have done a very basic decor and there is no feel good factor about the place except of course the lake.

Food is average. Nothing great. We ordered Dal Makhni and it was nowhere near the real taste. But their Garlic Naan is good.

All in all - it was a decent experience.

What we read in the reviews before going there and what we ate was totally different. Very bad taste of food n not a good service. Average food, delayed and bad service.

Wasn't upto the mark. We went after looking at the ratings but let down by food quality and service. Though the location and view is amazing but afterall it's food and service.

We went there and the attitude of the security guard was rude and bad. If security guard is behaving like this we can imagine how the other people will behave. We left the place immediately and we went to Fateh restaurant and that was amazing.

The best hotel in udaipur i stayed for four day i had my lunch or dinner there every day its awesome

The restaurant is on a prime and serene location near to Fatehsagar lake. They do provide lake view and roof top options. My observations -
1. When you go to a restaurant you want your taste buds to feel nice and that too as quick as possible. The non vegetarian option is good but the veg option is average say you are paying ₹ 275 for Zafrani Kofta and ₹250 for hakka noodles but on the other hand the Laal maans will cost you ₹375. They do cover it well. 4/5

3. The service is reasonable, not so many waiters available. 3/5
4. Drinks available. Not rating it though. Cocktails and mocktails both.
5. Car parking is available. Someone is always there to greet you. Be sure on weekends to book your table in advance.
6. The hospitality is quite warm.

Good food but destroyed the whole experience due to miser behaviour of the owner. Couldn't
provide few grams of mint as complementary against a bill of 4000 INR.

Ummm the place is okay, the food is okay. But that don't matter much here, because. The View! OMG what a view! What a view! A vast horizon with a beautiful lake. Good for a lazy afternoon, evening chill-out with food, snacks & drinks- reflective solitude or with friends!

Service of the restaurant is not good, the manager is also the owner of the restaurant and he is too boastful and full of attitude person.if you are visiting this place be careful with bad service experience

The restaurant's Location is very beautiful. You can see the Lake from the front of the restaurant. Rajasthani food was too Delicious, Churma and Laddu was amazing. Restaurant service is also good.

This is normal restaurant with lake view. Food quality is really not good at all. Even basic food items are not good. Prices are so high in this restaurant. Food is not upto the mark.

The manager told us that we'll be charged for lemon which is to be given complementary.the staff told us that they can not give ice for water.when we approached the manager, he asked us to pay INR 125/- for ice and lemon.the restaurant was unhygienic and the insects could easily be seen falling in the plates.

First time I saw and thought hotel is not good.but after going inside and tastes the food. It was awesome.

We searched for top restaurants in Udaipur and found this one. When visited we found that the staff was good but not the food. Restaurant didn't have good ambience either. Price of food is average. I think for two veg people the bill would be around 600-800.

Great place to visit with your family and friends. Awesome view of Fateh Sagar from restaurant. Good customer service. Good hygiene maintain. I have ordered laal mans, tandoori chicken, pineapple raita, butter chicken, paneer tikka and breads. All are good in taste. Evening view of Fateh Sagar is awesome. Sufficient place for parking. Place for private party is also available.

Pathetic food only 2 waiter and chef is definitely changed after covid complete disaster bill amount was 2000 value of money is 10% hari chutney badhiya thi khali raw uncooked food

Located near Fateh Sagar lake and view is totally mesmerizing. Quality of food 4/5. One of the beat non veg restaurants in Udaipur. Quantity is one thing where they lack else no other issues. Manager was very good. Welcomed us with Papad Salad and ended with Gulab Jamun and both were complimentary with no extra costs.

Overrated. Food is good but at high pricing than usual or decent. The view is the plus point of the place. Roof top is a better place to seat. Servicing is good. Although the restaurant have a good staff.

I booked a table on valentine's day looking at the high ratings, but my experience was terrible. Extremely unhygienic restuarant I have ever witnessed. The smell of the toilet was reaching upto 2-3 tables and the washrooms were so dirty and stinky that people dining could smell it. I felt disgusting because they ruin my valentine's day and I left in 5-10 mins without having food. There are many better restuarants in Udaipur with great service and hospitality.

Never try chicken khara masala curry. Laal Maas and fish tandoori was good.

Nothing great about it. Poor food taste and poorer service which is due to shortage of manpower. There were only 3 guys to attend around 10 tables. Won't recommend
