The taste was below average. We ordered chicken mailai tikka in which there is no malai, soya malai chaap is too sweet, veg platter and paneer lababdar are below average, laas maas was okaish and good compared to other's. The only positive of this restaurant is service was fast and the seating has lake side view.
Didn't feel like what other reviews are. Food was okay, Kabab ordered first was good, the same dish ordered again and was half cooked and felt like bolied chicken.biryani should not be called biryani.service is slow and I think in overall Udaipur they do not serve the food.overall reviews maybe a hype.
All in in total waste of time and money if you are vegetarian. Waited for 2 hours to get the food on the table 1.25 hrs waiting for get the table and next 45 mins to get the food after we ordered it. Very costly restaurant with basic taste.
Awesome place in Udaipur to spent an evening nearby the Lake Pichola. Ambience is 5 star category Food is appetizing. Authentic Rajathani cusine we were served by Mahinder Rathor and his hospitality is really appreciated. Highly recommend
Such a bad experience after one hour of wait.was allotted the most horrible table next to thrash. The table cloth was wet and had to be changed. Mood dampner. The place was pretty.but experience horrible
Beautiful restaurant with great rooftop sittings and views. We had candlelight dinner under full moon night. The food was delicious, and the staff was helpful. Value of money.
Advisable to make prior reservations to avoid waiting and hustle.
Excellent ambience. Welcoming and sensible staff. Vegetarian food is cooked separately not like Delhi restaurants where they use same pan to cook veg and non veg due to 'chalta hai' attitude. Another important point is that the staff never loses eye contact, hence they are always available for your service. Would love to visit this place again.
My first visit to Udaipur and it has been beyond perfect! Loved our dining experience at Khamma Ghani. The food and ambience is so good. Great service and assistance by Pratap Singh! Must visit place if you’re in Udaipur <3
Nice place by the lake. Great ambience. Superb taste. You'll mostly always find it crowded. The menu is quite widespread and service is also upto the mark. Great place overall!
Atmosphere Ok. Food ok but service is bad. They served cold food and gave excuse that the kitchen is far away hence it got cold midway. The views are also not that good. Reservation required
Service was treble. I told them i want this table "specific"however they can't hold on to it while I'm standing in front of him. Walking out, There are numerous restaurants with good service.
I would have given 3 star but i am giving 2 star as it is highly over rated and also over hyped.not worth waiting for hours and then getting a food which doesn't match the expectation. Ambience 3 star Food presentation 4 Food taste 2 staff 3 price 2 ease of getting a table 1
This is a must try evergreen restaurant for all kinds of food lovers. This was my second visit and I love to review it because of the taste and balance of spices in the right amount, and also the service. Apart from all this, the view is heart touching due to the options available as terrace or indoor on the banks of Fateh Sagar Lake. Also there is a separate section for those who want to do their work side by side without any interruption.
We tasted Manchow soup which was fine, Waldorf salad, Paneer starter and chicken starter was amazing in taste. Dal Bati churma is a must try dish here! Overall service is very good and fast. The ambience is amazing as the restaurant is located close to Lake Pichola.
Had a memorable lunch in there and we have been given a corner seat to see the entire lake while having lunch. We ordered dahi ke kabab, lassi, and daal baati churma. If you are in udaipur, this is a must visit. I am forgetting the same of the manager on board who served us, but will edit as i remember him. He must be devender or dilip singh.
Pls keep in mind that you'll always stay on wait list which could take anywhere from 30 mins to 1hr 30 mins for you to get to the table depending upon the day you're at the restaurant.
Once you're on the table the experience is worth the wait. You won't be disappointed. Give it a go.
This is my first time visit to this restaurant and I wanted to share my personal experience with all. The food and location are fine but they lack hospitality, especially for women. I visited with my mom, and from the help desk to the waiter, they are giving more importance and attention to men customers. We are standing at reception and the person at the help desk was busy working and not paying any attention to women customers who are not with men. When we ask repeatedly that seats are available only then he responded. After entering waiters are so disinterested in taking orders. Overall very disrespectful experience. They really need to pay attention towards this thing as it's totally against women empowerment and this kind of cheap behaviour is not accepted from the reputed restaurants. I feel Rajwada bites is better than this restaurant in the case of respecting women.
This was best hotel ever visited in udaipur. Ambiance and food was at best. Try laal maans (mutton) here. Other dishes are also good. Service is bit slow may be due to crowd. We visited 2 days and It was always crowded. Situated at lake and view from restaurant is awesome. It is on walking distance from gangaur ghat or fateh sagar lake.
This is a lakeside located restraunt which is very famous in udaipur and one of the main places which you can visit. Prior booking is recommended as the place is usually quite occupied and happening
Very amazing.the atmosphere was exquisite and elegant with a beautiful view of the lake.the service was excellent despite the rush and so many customers around.the staff was very polite and respectful.the food as well is very good.
We had chicken Banjara which was pretty good in taste.though i think the veg opts are better than the non-veg opts as the daal baati churma we ordered was very delicious and good in quantity.it's 10/10 place and would definitely recommend it for tourists.it's a cozy atmosphere with everything perfect
Ok, let's get down to it. Prepare to be disappointed in terms of: Wait time, behaviour and arrogance of the owner, and the overhyped view - truth be told, there's nothing to "view" Few things that however make you want to come again: Mewari Chicken Dhungaar, Tandoori Roti
Location wise place is good.but service was not that good. We ordered red sauce pasta which was not that good.other food item we ordered was fish starter which was great. Overall nice place to have lunch.
Probably the finest place you can find ar the waterfront Adaipur. Fantastic setting, marvelous food, excellent service. Wonderful for a splendid evening!
Food was so so. Expected much from this location which is known for their word of mouth publicity. Didn't find it worth it.
Location was ok. Although there was table available at roof top, still they said, it's reserved which is not a good move. No great view from the location, just the lake view. There are more good places with better views of lake with ghanghor ghat, lake palace, city palace. They are far better in those terms. Felt overly hyped.
Jagdish kumer Served us very well. From the drinks to the classic Tandoori style chicken. Everything was more than satisfactory. Then you throw in the view, wow.
