Needs a lot of improvement towards preperation of authentic Rajasthani food and cleanliness aspects

Taste was ok ok may be rajasthani peoples like it. But we are from mp we know the actual taste

Awesome taste in just Rs. 350. There is so much to eat. Quality and service is awesome. Must visit if you are in Udaipur or Ahmedabad.

Just one type of Churma and only one type of batti for 350 was unreasonable. Gatta sabji was also not fresh. Churma was made with gur and that was unique but count not find a single dry fruits in that. You can find better dal bati churma even at any road side restaurants. Perfect example of not keeping us the same standard once you have brand name in market.

One of the best place in udaipur to test dal bati. Placed near Gulab bag and vintage car musium. Food quality is best. Unlimited food. Very nice service. What i like the most is, the way they serve, specially ghee. Dal se jada to ghee dalte hai. Ambiance is cool.

Best dal Bari restaurant in Udaipur. It was the best dal bati I have ever eaten. I have been to several places so trust me if you are in Udaipur you gotta go there once. It can feel costly because of the rule of per person thali. But the food compensates for it. The price was 350 per thali in November 2021. You can have unlimited everything after paying 350. In conclusion the food was great (above my expectations).

The hotel is not on the main Street, When I reach to restaurant there were not a single customer on Weekend evening. Food was ok ok.

OVERRATED, THE FOOD DOES NOT DO JUSTICE TO THE MONEY.
The food is moderate. The serving style is quite authentic but the charge makes it not worth it. They cost 350 per person with unlimited service but one (even male) can eat only maximum two battis. The charge makes you overwhelmed. The price makes you more full than the food. I have had much better at 170₹. And the counter man is arrogant he starts bickering about how the prices of ghee, dal, etc.has raised. Very unprofessional behaviour.

It was our best experience to have daalbaati at this restaurant. Recommend everyone to eat atleast once at this restaurant.

If you are looking for best Dalbati in Udaipur then you are almost on right place.

DO NOT GO HERE- its overrated.highly overpriced (350₹) and the food is NOT AT ALL worth it. There are other restaurants in the locality which serves dal-bati churma at a better price with a better taste. On enquiring, some locals told us that they charged us (tourists) more than what their actual price was. So dont make the mistake of getting baited by your guide (or taxi driver).

Heard about this a lot so thought of giving it a try and I don't regret it. Each and every item served were damn tasty. Be it dal bati, churma, chutney or chaas everything served in thali was amazing. Would highly recommend this place. Do monitor your weight before entering it surely will increase

It was my first time and I never expect such bad taste. They'll charge you ₹350PP on the name of unlimited and beleive me you won't be able to eat 2 bati because of it's taste. Please look for another options as Udaipur has lots of delicious food options.

One of the best Dal Bati Churma I had in the recent past. It was an unlimited Dal Bati and the rice served alongside with Salad, Mint Chutney, Garlic Chutney, Capsicum dish Gatte ka saag. It was really yummy to have such thali! Travellers who are visiting Udaipur must taste their Dal Bati once without any miss!

You can't go wrong with this place in case you want to taste daal baati while in Udaipur. The taste is quite good (but not out of the worldish) and so is the service.

The ambience could have been better, considering the price one pays.

Another issue is they offer only unlimited thali, so not pocket friendly when have kids or folks who can't eat much - they should offer a fix thali or kid thali.

Over priced as per the taste. Pls be aware from auto walas who insist you for this restraunt if you take ride. I saw many autos to drop the peoples at this restraunt.

Pathetic food, unmannered, uncultured and uneducated person at the counter who does not know how to behave with ladies and senior citizens. Just drop 250 rupees in fatehsagsr lake at Udaipur but don't eat daal bati churma at Kishan daal bati, Udaipur and don't don't spend 250/- per thali at this restaurant. I am a delhite and spent almost 50000/ bugs for my trip to Udaipur and mountabu this Christmas for four members of my family (3 adults and 1 kid). The stupid guy at counter of this restaurant says that we tried to share 2 thalies of daal bati churma among 4. I was so surprised and disappointed to get such attitude from a shopkeeper towards a tourist at Udaipur, everything was a big zero at this restaurant. Please taste daal bati churma somewhere else but not at Kishan daal baati.

We ended up in this small place because a friend recommended it, and how happy we are we made the detour to get here. The place is specialised in the traditional dal bati. And what they do, they do great. The waiter explained us how to eat in a traditional way (mixing and eating with the hands) and after 3 refills our stomachs almost exploded. Manosh, the owner of the place was so kind and helpful and explained us a lot about the food, the culture and his story behind this concept. This restaurant is one of the best experiences in India so far. Thank you so much!

A must visit place for tradational food when you are in Udaipur. Reasonable unlimited thali cost gives you the ultimate delicacy taste.

Overrated place. While you may give a pass to servers, owner of this place is Cheeky at its best. Servers were too busy to pay attention to us, had to ask for same thing more than thrice. Totally unacceptable behaviour for the amount of money you pay.

Oh and the food was just ok. It wasn't bad but it sure wasn't worth the amount of money we paid. Disappointing.

Average food served in a very suffocating environment. No windows and ACs are turned off in winters. The staff in general serves with a smile but owner is rude with preference being to larger groups coz they are going to order more plates.

The place was nice and quite. The food menu was basically a single side of 6 inch card. Consisting mainly what all would be served in an unlimited dish of DAL-BATI. It has Bati, Daal, mint chatni, garlic chatni, ghee, besan mirch chatni (called sambharo in gujarati) and Gatta saag. Costing 250 per dish. No sharing in one dish permitted. Overall the food was good. All the best for your visit.

Not value for money. Paying Rs250 for unlimited dal bhati is exorbitant. We were expecting unlimited rajasthan thali but it turned to be only dal bhati. Even the dal n ghatte curry was not that good. Yesterday we had far better thali from Natraj which was also not excellent but way better than this. The thali here is worth rs100 and not more.

It was my first time in Krishna dal bati. And I can't say anything about its taste. It's beyond good. I don't have words to say for complimenting. I really appreciate Krishna's dal bati.

Good place for tourists to eat Dal Bati.

You get wheat based bati, churma and chaach in the unlimited Thaali for a decent price.

The restaurant is located in the first floor and there is no elevator, so might be inconvenient for some. You can also expect some wait time during peak hours.

Worst Restaurant of my life. I haven't eaten such tatti in my entire lifetime that too for ₹250. Come at Nashik Go to Hotel SM Imperial Try Chicken Alfahm once for 110/- and try any other dish with parotha. Make the bill equivalent to ₹250 now judge what is value for money. This Dal Bati Restaurant is just to loot people's Hard earned money. Food Quality is so bad thr that u will literally vomit. Vomit on plate on hotel on the owner. All kinds of Bad words are even much less to define the restaurant. Again choice is yours.

Visited this on one of my friend's recommendation on a recent visit to Udaipur, they have only one simple option of Unlimited Dal Bati costing 250/-
Worth trying once if you re in Udaipur and want to try Rajasthan's authentic Dal Bati, they serve it with Papad, Chaas, Two Chutneys, Churma etc.
