The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur

Amazing resort and the only reason you should visit Udaipur. While the city itself has nothing much to offer, Udaipur Udaivilas does more than its share to compensate. Truly world-class services and a very humble, accomodating attitude of the staff. We went for my wife's birthday and there were so many surprises I can't count. From food to room to services - everything was perfect. Definitely recommended.

The stay was perfect and the aura was aesthetically mind blowing. The best thing about the hotel was the staff. Never seen such humble staff anywhere in india or even internationally. A hotel colleague are the best person you could get they welcomes you with open heart and gives you the best of everything you have never imagined. A hotel staff does an amazing job when you’re at the table they offers and guide everything worth eating and it actually turns out to be the best, you’ll get tired of eating but they won’t stop offering you delicious things. Food and breakfast served is very good and tasty, Ambience and location is very good, Rooms are very nice and comfortable, Mornings are very good having a walk at lake Pichhola, Best stay one can ever imagine and even the hospitality, Special thanks to Mr. Krishna Raj Dodia, a front desk manger and Mr Manav Mathur for their courtesy and thanks to all the staff, Excellent in every way.

A fantastic view, magnificent fine dining and great people that will make your meal worth your time and money. A kaleidoscopic reflection of the rich Mewari heritage oozes through the construction of the hotel with a host of activities in and around the hotel. The staff is very welcoming and it's a fantastic place if you want to be spoiled. Just go eat out instead, the food needs help, there are better restaurants that will offer you better food at a significantly better price.

Absolute gorgeous place with regal settings and excellent amenities. Feel like royalties. The views of the lake from the many pools and lawns is bewitching. Spas are fabulous. There are inhouse activities which keep you well entertained!

First let me start by saying that the city of Udaipur is an oasis within India, lush with numerous lakes. The Udaivilas resort is beautifully located on the famous Lake Pichola with breathtaking views of the City Palace across the lake. This building was designed with an ambiance of grandeur with awe inspiring features keeping you in the present moment and fully taking in your experience of India.
The room is spacious and elegantly designed accented with hand crafted artwork and furniture famous of this city. When you enter the room you see a large sitting area and next to it a king sized bed looking out to the view of the lake. The bathroom is made of marble with a free standing bath tub that was filled with rose petals when we arrived! It’s the details like this made our stay exceptional. Out the bathroom door, you walk into your private courtyard that leads to the pool. This would be the room to select for a couple, but more people you would want to book to one of the suites. This hotel fits in perfectly with the nature around it. While exploring the grounds you see how massive it is with lush with gardens & fountains, peacocks, a herd of white spotted deer, and an unbelievable amount of different kinds of birds chirp their songs above you throughout the day. At sunset, the lake belongs to love birds taking a romantic boat rides as the sun goes down and the city lights up with a pinkish glow.

Had a great time, I was there for drinks, I ordered Fire on the Ice which was great, and chocolate shake was really good. The best thing was scrumptious Crispy Pita Hummus Platter. Overall a ravishing place. The place makes you feel at comfort as soon as you enter. The staff is very courteous and smiling all the time.

The property is beautiful. Attended a wedding event there. Food was delicious. But the staff needs to be efficient & anticipatory. Time lags & disorganised service seriously brings down the whole experience.

Stayed here for 2 Nights on 16 th and 17 Nov.
This can be considered as the finest and most memorable "Experience of a lifetime". From grand welcome by red flowers the level of hospitality shown by the staff is unmatchable. It is a destination in itself. Would definitely recommend anyone visiting udaipur for a luxorious stay.

Customer service by the booking staff is horrendous. Especially Aneela. I have paid 100k for doing a prewedding here. They are asking for another 25000 rupees just to take photos in a dining area. Correspondence with staff was rude and not professional. My booking is not for another week still but I would never book again.

It is so dreamy! If you want to experience royalty, you should visit here. Unlike other top rated properties, the food here is delicious. Courteous staff, amazing views and a must visit place in Udaipur (if you can afford to stay here, go for lunch or dinner)

One of the most amazing hotel in Udaipur Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. Everything is unique and handpicked. Gold plated domes and royal paintings. Lake is on there shore and they have utilised it on there best.
