Trident Hotel Udaipur

Spacious, particularly in the general areas, but overpriced bar, slow (but friendly and accommodating) service, pool not heated, no sauna/jacuzzi/steam room and the spa could only accommodate three guests per hour, which I think is low for a site of this size.

The management picked up on the review above and responded positively and constructively in the immediate remaining days we were there. Special thanks to Urvi for the steps she took and directed the team to take to both address the concerns and compensate for an experience below the standards expected.

This place is located very close to the lake picchola. This property belongs to the Oberoi trident group.
This hotel is located in a pristine and serene location, the lake front of the property is amazing, from the lake front you can see the Udaipur city palace, this property is also adjacent to the Udai villas palace which is an amazing property.
You can also visit leela palace and Udaipur city palace via boat from the lake front itself by paying some charges, if you are staying at Udai villas palace then you don't have to pay any charges for the boat, it is free for the guests.

Overall, the best experience I have had at a hotel till now! The room could have been a tad bigger, but it was still okay! The amenities were top notch, so no complaints there! The garden, the facilities, and the behaviour of the staff were so heart warming, I was actually proud of my wife to have selected this hotel of all others! I would certainly love to visit again!

Amazing location - well kept gardens, small but well equipped room reasonable pricing. Good spread of vegetarian food in the breakfast including donuts. Major meals were also tasty.

This place is simply awesome.the property is very beautiful.this is a sister property to udaivilas and so it's just adjacent to it.you get a udaivilas tour if you stay in trident.trident has nice pool, the gardens are beautiful, you can spot peacocks if you take a early morning stroll of the property, you also have a cart which can take you around to show the property, it has its own boat service also which will take you on the pichola lake but this is paid.if you don't want to spend on boat ride you can just go to the lake side spot and enjoy the view.the property is a picture perfect place.you can clicks loads of beautiful pictures here, the food is good, staff is good.it has a rooftop dining space.so you can also have dinner under the sky.all in all a luxurious place to visit.

Their food suck. Not even the roti is fresh here. I was a trainee here and i worked in kitchen, they used to give guest food which was made 2-3 days back even the roti is given which is made 3 days back not a single iteam is fresh here. One should never visit this hotel

IF you want to feel royal you must go and must enjoy the food and amazing services of there staff they are giving you the feeling of you are most important person of earth.they are giving there 100 percent to serve you in the return they are expecting a smile from us.must try.

Beautiful place. All the staff were so courteous and accommodating. Checking in was so fast and easy. Rooms were very spacious. The view from the room and dining area was just serene. Breakfast buffet was lavish. Overall a wonderful experience

I had been there on 8th November 2016 for Dinner with my wife and my 4 years old daughter. Guess what person who welcomed was least interested and asked me room number. I said we just came for dinner and we are staying somewhere else. Guess What! He said let me confirm that is there possibility to accommodate you or not. He talked with somebody on phone for a while and came to me and said "Sorry" WOAH! I said that I have tweeted & sent Facebook message to your main ID and same property ID for reservation required if any.but no response from your side.he said we don't follow much social media! Sorry to mention here that now a days even giants like Deltin Group. Taj group etc replies and take cares whats happening with customers & these people are least interested in customer. I read somewhere that Trident CEO written very good thing for customer satisfaction on Trip advisor so we went there.and you won't believe the person additionally said me that if you have called us prior we would surely accommodate you! This is such a fun.isn't it. If I have called him he will have space and as I have not called there is no space for me. This is the worst experience ever in 3 to 5 star rated hotels. Don't ever expect any good service from such hotels even though it belongs to "Oberoi Group" also I would like to mention that I have not got much good experience with other Oberoi group hotels.giants like Deltin group which goes full house almost 365 days promote their brand via contest for stay and to and fro fare to attract customers.and these people sending customers back even when the come at their door steps.they make "Athithi Devo Bhava" to "Athithi Bhagao Bhava" "SAYING BIG NO TO CUSTOMERS"

Over all every body here can understand the matter & don't go on big name "Trident" "Naam Bade aur Darshan Khote"

Good hotel. A good 5 star property - may not be the ideal one for a mid to large business events - they do not have a conference room facility.

No better hospitality in town than trident. They juat pamper yoy and treet you like a king. Awsome experience.

Easily one of the best hotel chains out there. The staff at Trident especially takes care of you and goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The property is as serene as it can get. Nestled behind Lake Pichola and Oberoi Udaivilas, the greenery attracts you to it. Views of the garden from every room with peacocks strolling around makes it a wondrous sight each time you look out of the window. Oberoi Udaivilas too is a must-visit destination. I spent all my time in Udaipur between these properties and could have stayed there for eternity. It's a terrific hotel with excellent service and impeccably maintained. Will definitely visit at each opportunity I get.

Yet again holiday spent in another class of hotel. Trident hotel is located near to Lake Pichhola. Can access to the hotel through road or by lake. It shows its uniqueness once you enter through main gate. Lush green trees and plantation on both side of the stone pavement. Typical Rajasthani entrance to the reception. Beautiful fountain and arena near reception. Experienced warm welcome in Indian style by putting Tilak on forehead. Good description by hotel staff about the amenities in the hotel. Room size is enough for one family with two kids. Extra bed was provided free of cost by generous hotel staff. Rooms are having scenic views of lawn, there big banyan trees can be seen. Swimming pool is located near to gym. Gym is also equipped with all new machines and other necessary accessories. Pool is well maintained and depth of the pool is good for kids and adults. Kids club is having good activities for the kids. Small basketball arena for kids.

Can enjoy world class dining in Aravali a finest restaurant with superb cuisine. Pool view from the restaurant helps to elevate its look. Amrit Mahal "bar and restaurant " is near to the reception.
