Don't go there, it's very dirty and unhygienic! Plates and cutlery seemed to be the only clean things in the whole restaurant. Everything else was covered in thick layers of black and brown smears. Even the tap and the soap dispenser were incredibly dirty! I don't want to know how the kitchen looks like if they don't mind to wipe anything.
And the smell in there was so bad that you really don't want to breathe.

The Lassi was really good. Apparently sweet dishes is the only thing that has a good taste there. Savoury dishes taste like ghee and nothing else - better take a spoon and eat pure ghee in a more pleasant place. Naan tasted like cardboard. Totally not worth the money.

This restaurant was recommended several times - WHY?

The hotel reflects its years old reputation and eating here is definitely a must when you set out to explore the old city

It is one of the oldest restaurant of Jodhpur that serves traditional Indian food prepared in pure desi ghee. The quantity of any dish is not very much but it is very heavy to eat as it is prepared in pure desi ghee.

A good place for those who love to explore old places. No Parking available, better to take rickshaw to reach there.

This is our family restaurant. The food is not just confined to taste but also with good vibes. It is one of the oldest restaurants of the city and if you are a visitor you must include it in your list. All food preparations are in desi ghee and milk. Some of dishes that are world renounced are malai roti, rabdi kulfi and kabuli. They also serve a unique dish called sabzi sandwich, I am a big fan of it. They have separate family sitting space and orders are served warm and freshly cooked. If you visit here do not forget to see the famous mahadev mandir called achalnath ji ka mandir below the restaurant.

I am not sure why people have given 4.2 stars to the restaurant. Nothing was special the food, the sitting, the ambience, the service. They do not know how to prepare foods other than local jodhpuri sabji even in that too they doesn't offer variety.

I tried two things-
1) Kabuli - taste was okay, quantity less, price high.
2) malai paratha - taste good, quantity appropriate, price okay.

Its malai roti is sold at 1000 per KG, and worth every gram.also its gulab jamun ki sabji and prem pyala are just awesomely unique

Liked the taste of local authentic food. We tried Gulabjamun Sabji and Govind Gatta, both tasted amazing. You should eat Prempyala dessert in the end.

Lassi is my favorite drink in India. I have tried Lassi in many other restaurants but no place can make it thick and delicious like here. They added nuts and grapes in Lassi, which made it even better.
However, their food did not impress me much. It was spice and salty, a bit oily for me.

Great place to try some local dishes. The food is delicious and very cheap. Best lassi I've ever had.

My wife and myself went into this restaurant hoping for some good local food. The paneer butter masala had quite some fresh vegetables in it which was quite a plus. Unfortunately the taste missed intensity and instead it was more oily than we appreciated. The naan (garlic and plain) were good. Overall prices are also reasonable. The thing that threw us off mostly were the two mice we saw running around in the restaurant while eating. This spoiled our appetite, combined with the oily masala resulted in this two star rating.

Decent Indian food near clock tower area. We had Rajasthani gatte ki sabzi with roti. It was very good.

It is on 1st floor and I found sitting arrangement too congested. Even though their food is cooked in Pure Ghee (Clarified Butter) but me and my family didn't like it. It was too oily.

One of the best restaurant in jodhpur, Malai roti, kabuli, nd prem-pyala is awesome, and only available here in whole India, very good and nice restaurant

Very good food in Johdpur, for a very good price. I would definitely recommend. I went back several time during my stay. Traditional johdpuri food. You won't regret. Ask locals they will all recommends this place as the best one in Johdpur! And my husban has a fragile french stomach and has No problem eating there.

Went there on recommendation of a local friend, but was highly disappointed. The place lacks basic hygiene and you can see rats running around the place.not sure about the quality of food they are serving. Also the taste was way too much over hyped in my view.definitely not worth the effort and price.i dont know how this place has a rating of 4.3 when it lacks basic things like washroom, clean seats and yeah not to be mean the waiter is least bothered.they pick up eaten plates and then serve you with same hand.
