My family & friends stayed at Hotel Tarayana, Gangtok for few days in the first week of Apr '23. This was our 2nd visit to the hotel. We selected this hotel just because of the excellent service by the Hotel Staffs. They are available 24x7 and they are eager to help whenever there is any need. This hotel is situated just near to M G Marg, I recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Gangtok.

Especially one day we had no water in the bathroom-toilet without intimation or warning, which is a big NO-NO for hospitality business. Besides that this is excellent choice.

Tip: Carry reusable plastic bottles, request big size rooms, top floors have mountain view but if you are not traveling light there are no elevators in property.

This is located at Tibet Road.the road is very steep.but the road is having a good traffic of taxis.
Hotel is very near to MG Marg.

We stayed here for 4N 5D.we booked this hotel from Booking.com.
Had a wonderful stay at the hotel.wifi was available throughout and the speed was also good.
Was really impressed by the hospitality of the hotel staffs especially from Bikash Lepcha and Ganesh Singh.
Without Bikash's help we wouldn't have been able to cover Gangtok and East Sikkim with so ease.
Next time also we will be checking in at this hotel.

Service and room was very nice. Room was clean food was awesome. Room service boys were very polite and humble provide service anytime.

Management of hotel is very bad.
In hotel some time electricity problem, water, geyser not worked properly. Very unsafe for family or couple. Staff are very ignorance.
Cost for single tea is 50. Very costly in terms of fooding

Indeed a very good place in Gangtok… very good hotel with all amenities except lift only thing we missed while walking up and down five floors so one star less else is a5 star place. … but special thanks to Vikas Kumar from the hotel team who never let us struggle for anything… starting from drinking water upto full meals, he supplied everything to our apartment room situated on the top floor… this is a special room with a balcony view of the magnificent Kanchanajunga peak… apart from all this the MG marg is just two minute walk and ropeway is just 10 mins walk away.aptly located and with great staff and brilliant food… the owner Mr Karma is very helpful and accommodating along with Mr Inderkumar who helped us with the travel and local sight seeing… also their driver Santosh is very friendly and hardworking person.
If you are looking for a place in Gangtok then look no further and just book here. I stayed here with family and friends on the last week on 2021 and had a great time…

5 star for service, food, room, location and ambiance and go on… overall fully satisfied place for a visitor… ambiance it beautifully decorated with photos and have bigger space to roam. I am from Mumbai and food which I got in hotel is similar which I have in Mumbai restaurant. 5 min walking from Mall Road… staff is helpful for each and every thing. Rooms and washroom is clean and neatly decorated giving feel of home. Highly recommend to all.
