Superb location, perfect view point! Awesome service and very very courteous team of mr Suman and mr Naveen! Quality and taste of food outstanding! Overall a perfect destination with WiFi, centralised heating and centralised warm water.

A neat, clean and conveniently located with all necessary amenities. Tasty food, courteous and helpful staff makes the stay comfortable. We had a great view of rising Sun over snow clad mountains from our balcony.

We stayed here for 4 nights the rooms were large, had all the necessities required for a comfortable stay and had an amazing view of the mountains.
The best part is the staff, Mr Suman Gosh goes out of his way to cater to any requirements you may have, the rest of the staff is equally polite and helpful.
The only negative is the limited menu but I believe that is something they are working on.

Can become one of the best hotel of the location. Features like central heating, WiFi, water pressure at shower and good food and services are the high points. The spa is non operational. The biggest downside is the absence of power backup. Had to spend 02 evening in candle light with frequent power outages.

Staff are v courteous and the manager as well. Most travellers leave v early as the entire purpose is to view zero point, yumtang valley and the endless waterfalls enroute!
They packed us hearty breakfast at 6: 30
Not only us another big group of 20+ senior citizens … with a smile always and that’s the best part!

Rooms are equipped with all the latest amenities & are very cozzy. All rooms have controlled heaters to keep u warm all night. Foods is super good. Staff is very courteous with outstanding service. Nothing could be better then this for my holiday.

If you are looking for modern facilities with a touch of local feel, this is the perfect place and the only few of the self run hotels in Lachung.

Excellent service, very friendly staff. I read books and they have a great variety of books. The food was excellent in taste and the luxury rooms have made it.

My stay in Jewel Kongchen Retreat & Spa was indeed an experience of a lifetime which go down my memory lane. Excellent hospitality/management/yummy food and the central room heating system was a treat. Hoping to come back son.

In the hilly location of Lachung, Sikkim this place is truly a delight if you are looking for an uptown place to stay or to hangout. The views outside are not that great but they have a fine restaurant and really polite staff with very well maintained infrastructure. The prices are in the higher side but considering the altitude and the service it’s completely justified. You wouldn’t regret coming to this place.

We stayed at this place and i ll love to visit it again.a) Hotel Property: Hotel itself is a brand new property in terms of a lifecycle of a hotel. Further additions in terms of amenities and construction are being done to the hotel. All furniture/bath fittings in the room are absolutely brand new and well finished

b) Stay: Stay is absolutely comfortable. It won't make u feel that you are far away from all amenities you are used to. Given that hotel is located at a remote location, the stay experience will NOT give you such a feel. They have central AC, which will make your room more than comfortable. They have all major amenities like iron table, iron, umbrella, tea/coffee maker.

Since the property is new, at times they do have issues with provision of 24/7 hot water. However the issue was immediately resolved.c) Food: Everything was delicious and some dishes were lip smacking. Having such a great food in lachung was a gift in itself.d) Staff: The staff is extremely courteous and well mannered. Hotel manager goes out of way to help you with anything. However, the hotel is strikingly understaffed as per my opinion. However since not many rooms were booked on the day we stayed, everything was managed absolutely smoothly. We faced no issues.e) Views from the hotel: The balcony Rooms facing the mountains provide great views. I've posted pics of the same

f) Suggestions to the hotel management:

The hotel certainly has the potential to be one of the best hotels at an elevation greater than 2000 mtrs however as on date (as on Mar 2022), the hotel is certainly overpriced and understaffed by all standards.

FINAL NOTE - I will absolutely LOVE to stay here again.

We possibly were the only guest in the hotel.
The rooms were nice though priced high. Spa was not operational. But still prices high.
While we took breakfast and dinner inclusive meal. It was the worst meal in our Sikkim trip. Tasteless, raw food was presented. When we complained they re cooked the food and presented which was still disappointing.
Hot water was not available in bathroom. Only few tv channels were available which also had to be activated first. Really Disappointed.

High comfort of modern day hotel in a remote location. Central heating takes the cake. When it’s cold and snowing outside that you can see through the large windows and your restaurant serves up warmth and comfort, i truely think it deserves the stars. Rooms are well appointed with latest gadgets, which you least expect considering how far it is from a big town. Food is good. Only grouse though is the timing of the breakfast that management themselves set it and don’t follow. Small and inadequate parking space in the front yard. Other that that, it’s the best in Lachung town.
