Rimbi Water Falls

At a distance of 5 km from Darap Village and 12 km from Pelling, Rimbi Waterfalls is a scenic waterfall near Pelling. Situated near Darap Village, it is one of the famous waterfalls in Pelling and among the best places of sightseeing in Pelling.

On the way to Khecheopalri Lake and Yuksam, Rimbi waterfall is formed over Rimbi River. During summer, the waterfall looks spectacular which attracts many tourists. Located close to the waterfall is one of the oldest hydro power stations in Sikkim. Established in the early 70's, this power station is the source of energy for most of the villa towns of West Sikkim including Gayzing, Tigjuck and Pelling.

One of the best waterfalls on the way to Yuksom sightseeing. Definitely visit if you are going to Yuksom.

If you have strong shower, then that might have more water flow than this waterfall. Go here only after monsoons, otherwise you will be very disappointed.

The water is absolutely crystal clear. In the stream, one can see the bottom stones even. There is an orange orchard beside this place. Visit during harvest season to see all trees filled to the brim with oranges.

This little waterfall situated in pelling in west Sikkim.this falls is quite small.we went in april so the waterflow is almost zero.this is situated near rimbi orange garden.good place for spending time with family and friends.for this small waterfall this place is very cool and good.excellent view from road side.no charge applicable for visitors.local sikkimese says that in falls looks very nice.very chilled and cleaned water.it's approx 12 km away from pelling town.you can spend here more than hours sitting on rocks and listening the sound of flowing water. A must visit place in pelling.

We went in mid March so the waterflow was almost zero. However, the water flow like a river along the rocks is good. A good place to spend sometime and take some pictures.

Good. This spot is on the way to orange garden. In pelling, one can go nearer to the falls and feel the nature. But as a tourist spot little care and cleaning of the place may be taken.

This is a small waterfall which you will notice on the road side while going to Rimbi orange garden. You can go down and click some good pictures with the waterfall on the background. This waterfall is best viewed during June to October post which it becomes very narrow.

Cute little waterfall by the side of the road. You can just walk down to the fall and click pictures. We have been there in december so the water in the fall wasn’t that much hoping in monsoon the flow gets better. But overall a nice place to stop by and click some pictures.

A cute little narrow but fierce falls during rainy season. In summers if sikkimese do experience that can have their own little natural swimming pool. Nice view by the road side. Open. No charge for visiting.

Must visit if you are travelling to Pelling.many shops for Maggie tea etc are available.
There was one ropeway but the time we went there, it wasn't working.car parking - Enough space for car parking at nearby roads.

Hahaha.well, to call this a waterfall and to travel this far to see this.makes no sense at all. Just move on. This is a tiny waterfall on the roadside. Nothing special.

There is a small place to stand near the waterfall. Tourists enjoy the waterfall. Parking facility road side. If u want to complete whole pelling sight seeing in one day don't spent too much time here. Overall good place.
