The place is good but when i was visited it was coverd by clouds.overall experience is good.

There is a glass Skywalk around a Buddha statue.
You can see Kanchengunga right in front of a clear day.
This site also has the oldest Monastery.

Can't describe the moment we spent in sky walk in some words. It's amazing mesmerizing views from there.

It is a Short Sky walk. But it is important due to the fact that this has been First in India and also due to its proximity to Chenrezig Statue. Worth visiting.

Unique experience. Skywalk is not as good as one might imagine. Too many metal crosses below the glass and the height too is not much. So the effect of walking on height with nothing below doesn't come. A bit of a wasted opportunity.

According to my experience the glass bridge is just a side piece, the real thing is there to feel the peace inside the temple sit down there & let your inner soul purify by the positivity.

It was a beautiful experience out there in pelling (West Sikkim) i guarantee you won't blink your eye's after seeing the mighty kanchenjunga you must visit this wonderful place.

The skywalk is around 2.5 km away from the Pelling city. It is India's very first glass skywalk, surrounded by a breathtaking panoramic view of the mountainous region and 137 feet tall marvellous status of Chenrezig and its stairs. You have to buy entry ticket. You can feel the thrill at the time of looking down at the mountains through the glass floor. Overall it's a great experience.

Amazing view and good for vacation with friends and family. One can easily enjoy the scenic view from the Sky walk. Inside the Buddhist Temple one can sit there and pray. A very soothing place.

Nice place but overhyped. The most pathetic thing is they have different entry fees for localities and outside sikkim. It felt like we are not Indians

The sky walk in Pelling city is quite a stunner with magnificent views of the Chenrezig Statue and the stairs that lead up to it with golden prayer wheels on both sides. Around 2.5 kilometers from Pelling and located at a height of 7,200 feet above sea level, the skywalk is surrounded by the snow-capped Himalayas and overlooks the marvellous137 feet tall statue of Chenrezig and the stairs that lead up to it, with golden prayer wheels on both sides. Visitors can also get a panoramic view of the Teesta and Rangit rivers. The skywalk remains open from 8am to 5pm.
This beast of a walk allows visitors to look down several thousand feet in the air. You get to behold everything down to the bottom of the mountain. This walkway is not for the fainthearted, or anyone who has vertigo.
Just hold onto the railing and do not look down on your walk if it makes your heart pound with fear; or, you could also take an adrenaline-pumping selfie, which would deserve all the likes!
The skywalk in Pelling also allows tourists to catch the sight of Teesta and Rangit rivers flowing closeby.

A very short trip here. It was about to close but still we got few minutes to experience Sky Walk and to take some photos! It's a nice experience for the first time.

When we visited, it was raining. Ice cold water under our bare feet makes it super special.
The bottom view was translucent through glass bridge but Himalyam range view was awesome. Monastery was another marvel.

The scenic views of Pelling with this first glass skywalk settled at an elevation of 7,200 feet over the ocean level alongside the fourth tallest sculpture of Chenrezig. The whole place will make you speechless with its beauty.

This is a simple glass bridge over hilly land and not too much thrilling as the height is not much. Ticket price is and in my opinion not worth until I watched rinpoche statue and temple. That is huge and spectacular. Lots of stairs to climb and there are many things to watch. Inside the temple is very calm and huge. As soon as you reach at the top you will has a beautiful view along with breeze of mountain.
Plan your stay at peling and visit this place. This will be more convenient. Otherwise start your car early in the morning and complete the visit before lunch. Mountain fog can be a serious problem at afternoon.

But the sky walk ramp is not as thrilling as one can think.
Nothing extraordinary, just a simple glass ramp supported by so many iron rods.
It's not scary at all.
The view is nice from there.

Yes the place is beautifully designed and it is large in size as the buddha park in ravangla. The large statue of goddess Samudrptse in between the skywalk area is the main attraction as well as beautiful. I imagined skywalk to be a bit longer but to my disappointment it was only few hundred meters. Moreover if you go there on a cloudy day you will miss out the bright and clear photos of the beautiful area. Beneath the statue there is a temple with the story of the goddess inside it. Here also one should be fresh to go around the area as it is large and there are steps to climb up to the goddess statue. So start your pelling trip with this as your first point.

Skywalk isn't impressive and has too much railing. The monastery is beautiful especially when it's foggy.

Very nice experience, had never been on a sky walk so it was great. The Buddhist temple on the site is also just amazing to visit and enjoy some spiritual time

An interesting place and one of its kind in India. The skywalk is short but is really well made. Completely safe however the road leading to this place is very steep and curvy, driver needs to be extremely cautious on the last couple of turns.

The Buddha statue is huge and after climbing around 171 steps you will reach the top and can enter the hall below the statue. There is a gallery at the top offering great views. If the weather bis clear Kachenjunga can be seen from here.

An average and overhyped place. The place is neat and clean and well managed. The staff is courteous. It is made in the foothills of a monastery. The skywalk is made of transparent glass and supposed to scare the person walking on it. But even my four year old child didn't get scare. Neither did I or anyone else walking over it. So basically it fails in its raison d' etre

Drive to Skywalk at Pelling from Baiguney is good but difficult for beginners ahead of Legship. Need to drive carefully as the road is narrow. Only skywalk in this part of country.amazing experience.the ticket is just Rs 100. People with vertigo can also try since the path is broad with railings on sides to hold and height is also less.perfect selfie point.the Chenreig Statue is huge and beautiful and visible from Geyzing and nearby hills. Walk upto the statue is of almost 100 gradual steps with similar number of prayer wheels on the sides. Mural paintings inside were awesome. Cameras are not allowed inside. View from the top is mesmerizing.

Scenic beauty is very good from the top most position. Sky walk experience is moderate, but internal architecture of the statue is beautiful.

Good place to visit with kids. Kuds will like the skywalk though it is not that impressive. Buddha's statue is too big. Entry fees is quite expensive but free for children. You also have to pay parking fees

The skywalk was smaller than I expected and the grounds underneat had a lot of rubbish what degrades the experience!

A newly built skyway on the hills of Pelling, West Sikkim. Neatly kept. The staffs are quite helpful. It was inaugurated by honourable C. M of Sikkim Mr. Pawan Chamling. It is India's first glass skywalk.

Nice sky walk. Very near to Gangtok. Gaint Statue Sangachuling Monasetery / Chenrezing statue is another beautiful thing to view there.also sangacholin monastry is there.

The location and view from the place is panaromic with a view of Mt. Kanchenjunga. Also, the monastery here is pretty large and beautiful.the glass walk isn't that large in length and the height is pretty low.

One of the best visiting place of pelling (sikkim). The sky walk is thrilling bt one would definitely like to enjoy it. Its an amaging experience. The place is so beautiful that one will never want to come back from that place. I really enjoyed there

India's 1st Skywalk. Clean, small, well maintained and peaceful. 10-15 mins uphill ride from Pelling bazaar. Basic facilities like parking and washroom are available. There are no restaurants, cafeterias or tea stalls nearby but you'll find one just above the entry gate.

Excellent place for visit. If you book a car from pelling it will take around rupees 500. There is a entry fee of rupees 50 per head. This place is similar to ravangla Buddha Park. Major attraction is Skywalk.

First sky walk in India, area of the Skywalk is not very big but it is worth visiting during anyone's trip to West Sikkim.

Ravangla kind of structure. Newly builded. Skywalk is average and very short. But very big place to click pictures and hangouts. A long prayer wheels throughout the long path to the structure.

This place is a new attraction in Pelling, if you are interested you can hike there from upper Pelling, its about 1.5 kms, and the view is stunning if the weather is clear.
