One of the nicest hotels in Namchi, Sikkim.
Especially the warmth of the staff and the homely food.

It's a decent hotel with modern rooms and amenities. While it says 5 star at a lot of places, it doesn't seem to be like that.
It's good for 1-2 day stay and probably the best option in Namchi.
The service could be a little better.

Well the best place to stay in Namchi if you are looking for a good hotel, a very good view. The place has got something for everyone. The staffs were very humble.

The back lobby and swimming pool area is very good. Only things that needs some improvement is the taste of the food. We tried some Chinese cuisine which was not up to the mark, morning we had dosa which again was not at all tasted like dosa hence some improvement in food ll make the place a very good one.

Food quality is too good. Staffs are friendly service are great. I am totally satisfied and recommended others to go there

Experience in the Sobralia hotels, casino and resort was good. I Stayed in their deluxe double room. Which costs me ₹4200 after discounts and after negotiating with breakfast and dinner. Had a very great swimming pool they keep it clean and change water of it every day. My children loved the swimming pool.

Pathetic experience in resort while having breakfast.have to wait for 40 minutes but no breakfast was provided.response was breakfast items were over.no response or apologies from management also even though matter was informed to GM.resturant staff behavior was pathetic

A good place to stay in namchi. Enjoy luxury in the lap of nature. Their pool area is fantastic and you can get a breathtaking valley View. Coming to food, it was very good in taste. They don't overload buffets. Rather, they offer fresh made parathas and puris. Coming to room, they are spacious with all luxury facilities. Overall, a good stay. The reason I took back one star is cleanliness. Though it was up to mark, it wasn't like a 5 star hotel. They have a beautiful property but if they do not put extra effort in maintaining the cleanliness, it will soon become a 3 star hotel. Please put some efforts and focus on minor things like cleaning the area below wash basin and filling up the space between almirah and wall. These little things keep you one step away from being outstanding. Also put light on the roof for night. I went on game zone after 8 and it was dark, the entire floor.
These are suggestions for further improvement and not any limitations. It's an amazing place and you won't find any other property like this in this place.

Had lunch on way to Charlotte Dham at Namchi.
The restrooms were in an atrocious state and not usable.
The food was mediocre and service was not existent.
Thankfully did not stay.

Zero star hotel I can give below that if possible. I stay for 2 nights very pathetic experience. Total different from what shown in pics. Very dirty full of mosquitos and different insents in room. It is very unhygienic hotel. Feel like staying in bad dharamshala. Breakfast is also bad. I stay in may month and there is no AC in rooms. Please don't stay in this hotel if possible. Trust me. We had 4 rooms. All had same experience.

It was the worst decision to choose this hotel. No welcome done and no welcome drink served. No guard at entrance, no security check. Waiting for a long time even after doing web checkin. Luggage was unloaded by vehicle after 20 mins.

No bathrobe, towel, hand towel, hand wash, slippers provided in the room. When asked they said it is only provided on demand otherwise not.

We wanted to plan an anniversary party, no arrangement was made for that.

We ordered the food at 7pm and got at 9: 30 pm and instead of chicken they delivered paneer instead of that. Food taste was worse. Chappati delivered was not warm and made long back. For even small things we had to call several times. Even small things like spoon were delivered to room after 30 mins after calling 4 times.

No cleanliness in the room, proper lighting is not there.

Receptionist and managers were drinking alchohol in the restaurant while serving dinner and don’t know how to talk.

Overall worst experience, if you don’t believe go waste your money. Even small hotels like Oyo provide better services then this hotel.

Excellent ambience and food. Their service is really poor. Whatever we ask like the immediate response will be no we don't have. Even for toiletries they didn't give us properly. Very delay service

We had an utterly bad experience with the Sobralia hotel at Namchi. The images in the internet are just a fluke. No proper management. We visited the hotel in month of June. Just a small rain caused the room to be flooded with water. We complained for room change but we had no response and we were made to stay in the room filled with water. We also had a bad experience with the dinner. We had booked the room along with dinner and breakfast. The dinner/ buffet was not ready on time and extremely late. There was No AC in the room. They do turn off the power back up in the night in case of power failure, making the condition even worse. No one is available at the reception 24×7. I would have definitely attached the video explaining the condition of the room if allowed. Attaching the images. I would suggest to go for other hotels in Namchi.

Stayed there 22-24 May 2022. Booked directly through their website @5000 aprox per night.

Pros
1. Room Size good. Stayed in 409.2. Swiming pool to chill out.
3. Location on chardham road.

Cons (considering their website claims & tariff not maintaining the standard)
1. Providing bottled RO water (YELLOWISH) in stained bottle. Better come with mineral water from market to avoid WATERBORNE DISEASES.
2. Breakfast limited options. Serving people are casual. Before you have your food, HOUSEFLIES will taste your food.
3. Linen quality using of budget hotel standard.
4. TV not working.
5. You will definitely miss cosy feeling at this price bracket.
As this property is old in this locality, getting guests by default, so not upgrading the facilities. Thus hospitality is missing. Before booking this explore other new properties around.

We have to call housekeeping. Water instead of warm or hot is bloody cold and the reception and housekeeping keep on passing bucks. Small room for a family and also two separate cots. Extremely poor service

I liked the place. Comfortable room. Clean linen and adequate toiletries are provided. Food is excellent. Staff is responsive.

The room size is quite good.

The rooms and bathroom looks new. Overall very well maintained and clean hotel.

The restaurant is also good. I had dinner and breakfast here.

All food items were excellent in the dinner.

But breakfast had limited options and was not up to mark.

The location and view from the hotel room and the lawn is awesome.

From room balconies you can see the char Dham Temple.
And from the lawn you get execelant view of the peaks of Kanchenjunga

It also has a small casino which is open all night it is fully computer run. The staff is friendly and helpful.

You get free 500 ruppee coupons to play at casino but hotel guy did not give in advance and in the night no staff was there to give so we can not use that.

But you get couple of free drinks.

Overall it is the best place to stay in Namchi.

Best star hotel at Namchi with the facility to watch kanchenjunga when the sky is clear. The staffs particularly the Manager Mr Saurabh is very cooperative. Food at the restaurant is simply awesome. It is located close to Baichung Bhutia Stadium.

Very bad service in 2021 when I visited 2018 service is very good but this time the service is worst I suggested to improve.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH SOBRALIA CASSINO RESORTS & SPA – NAMCHI

MIS – MANAGED BY SPECTRA HOSPITALITY SERVICES

I had made a booking for 11 rooms for the 15th of October 2021.

I and few of my family members reached around 5 pm and took possession of 5 rooms on the second floor. The remaining group was supposed to be joining later. As per the list of room allotment shared, we had 8 rooms on the 2nd floor and 3 rooms on the 3rd floor.

When the 2nd group came, they were told that they had balance 3 rooms on the 2nd floor, 2 on the 3rd floor and 1 on the First floor. The room list which earlier contained 3 rooms on the 3rd floor had now been substituted by this new list. The second group thought that this was the original list and since we were tired after a long journey did not disturb us. They tried to convince the hotel staff that how could they give 1 room on separate floor for the group and the person there would feel isolated and would be little difficult to communicate with each other.

After several request and an hour of wait at the lobby, the reception gave one more room on the 2nd floor. When the second group went to take possession the room, it was found that the same was already occupied by another guest. (It was quite amazing that the reception was unaware and allotted a room which already had guest). The reception was again approached and they said that they have room on the First floor only as per the new list. The 2nd group finally had to settle with whatever was offered.

Later when we came to know about this, we approached the reception again and asked how the original list got substituted. We received varied and absurd answers:

1. Guest had opted to change the room and the room on the 3rd floor was still vacant.
2. The room was dirty and not ready (even at 6 pm, though check out time was 12.00).
3. Why we should make a commotion since they have already given us a room, maybe on whichever floor.

AMENITIES IN THE ROOM
1. No towels, no dental kit etc was found – we had to ask for each and every item.
2. Milk powder given had an expiry date of feb 2021

FOOD - VERY LIMITED CHOICES
DINNER TIME – COMPLETE MISMANAGEMENT
The scheduled time for the dinner as informed was from 7.30 to 9.30. When we reached at 8.15, the dinner was not ready. Thereafter when we came later at around 9.00, out of the limited 5-6 items on the menu there was hardly anything on the table. When roti came, sabji was empty and vice - versa and several guests left without eating.

BREAFAST TIME
We asked if they could serve us Omlette as options were limited to which they agreed. Two persons were served with the same. Later when our other guests came, they were told that they were out of stock and could not serve Omlette.

Service Quality is very bad. Food was not properly available in the Buffet and went cold or ran out immediately. The couldn't manage the number of guests. It took them 3 hours to give us a key. Casino smaller than the swimming pool area, which is already small.

Amazing resort, superb view, well mannered staff. I must thank Simran for suggesting us the best room. This is just 1.8km away from Char Dham and you can see the Shiva idol from its lawn and can listen the puja chanting from your room itself. Food quality and portion is very good as per the price. Less oily, healthy and totally hygienic. Very peaceful stay. Morning breakfast is also really good, as we had taken with package. Overall very pleasant experience.

Amazing and probably the best place to stay in Namchi. Spanking clean rooms and washroom, spacious and well furnished, room has WiFi, potable water and tea coffee options as complimentary. Ample parking and has good restaurant and even a casino. Exceeded our expectations.

In fact this place doesn't deserve 1 star even. Worst food quality and service. No standards maintained, and no value for money as well. Even the road side food is better than this place.

Excellent ambience, location. Food quality is fine and affordable. Hotel staff are very courteous. Over all a very good place to stay. There are very few places, practically one or two near the hotel where you can get food, if you want to eat outside. The place is around 2 km from the main market.

The 5 Star category for the hotel is misleading. The staff is polite and courteous. The food served is excellent. The room are of budget level.

Not a very memorable stay as half the amenities were not open yet. The rooms r good, enough for a family of four with teens. The bathtub was good but not in full working condition. The view from the rooms r so so, the view from the terrace and poolside is good.

Food was average. Not much choice. Again, love to go back when fully opened.

Only best place to stay here in Namchi. Staff are polite and food of the restaurant is yummy. No complaint at all.

If you're staying in Namchi, this is the best you can get. However it is an average hotel at best. Food is also just about acceptable. Spa and the gaming zone are just loot.

This is the most important and memorable place for me. Booked it to get married from here. It was an indescribable experience for us. Hospitality was on point. People from Sikkim are beautiful soul. If you are visiting Namchi please check this place out.

Beautiful location. Good rooms. Food tasty but do not order too many items in one go.the staff gets confused. Especially during room service. But very honest n courteous staff.

They failed to provide meal already paid for by MMT and demanded extra exorbitant sum of money. Played loud music in open till 12.30am citing new year, unmindful of guests who've retired for the night, senior citizens, kids etc. Poor service.

Both rooms and food are good. One can enjoy the casino there also. Chardham is not in walking distance.

This is probably the best in Namchi. As expected, milk white bed, good clean wash room, Flat TV, Swiming pool etc.are there to greet the boarders. In fine, stay here definitely to enjoy, while in Namchi.

Loved the hospitality and the facilities. Faced issues during the dinner and breakfast but lastly got to know that there were some issues with staff management so that can be negotiable. Otherwise the hotel was great. View from the suite rooms were awesome.

We booked the resort through Club Mahindra and it was excellent. Namchi in itself is a beautiful place. The resort is aesthetic and staff is polite. It's the best place to stay in Namchi. If you are lucky you can see Mt Everest from the swimming pool area. Our room had a nice balcony that offered the view to Mt Everest (and sunrise), Char Dham (a local attraction) and Samdrupse (a Tibetan monastery). You must request for this room during your stay there. Casino has a dress code though.

No AC bad for summer times.
Breakfast not so great.
Cockroachs are in a good number which fill up washrooms in the morning.
No driver room and water for cleaning car.
No proper service and hospitality.

We were 4 people, including my 2 elderly parents and we stayed for a day. Nice clean hotel with a good view. There is space for car parking. Staff is very nice and sweet though slow in service. Very easy access for elderly, disabled and kids and has a lift too. It's away from Namchi market. Has a swimming pool and an okay casino (the hotel gave us Rs 1000 free vouchers per person to play at the casino and we won Rs 6000!). Very good supply of hot water. The rooms have balcony with the mountain views. Food variety is good for lunch/dinner and is nice but the breakfast spread was not good and not tasty either.
