Adyar Ananda Bhavan A2B Veg Restaurant

Any normal road side shop can serve a better food, ordered a dosa and coffee. Chutney served is not as good as A2B it's normal and coffee served without hot and after having it felt vomiting. Even for servicing they made me wait atleast 30mins for one dosa and coffee.

I tried Parota here, the taste was good.
The prices are very much expensive when compared to it's taste.
Try for once, that's it.
Also, the staff and their service is not that good at billing counter.
But while you are eating they come and serve you water.

Not much recommend.

Worst service.
Ordered in zomato and 65 mins for delivery and further delayed.just for the name. No taste and not worth the money. Waste of time and money.

Worst experience wit A2B. I have ordered my food via swiggy 50 Mins back, Iam tracking the delivery person is waiting more then Half hour to recive the food. The delivery person is saying me They are not responding any food delivery persons like Swiggy or Zomato. That dosen't matter how delicious your food is your service that does matter.

The place is my favourite since 20 years. The food, sweet and snacks are very delicious and my all time favourite.

Oh man their sambar is amazing. Compared to Kerala. After having the sambar from here only, I realised how bad the outside sambar is. If you are going of festival days mostly the waiting period will be more.

Grown into dependable restaurant for vegetarians. I see a lot of A2Bs in Chennai, out skirts and key places along the highway all across Tamilnadu. With so many branches popping up, I still find a reasonable standard across the region. A safe stop for vegetarian eating during your road trip. Probably reflects the spirit of the management team!

It's a good place for lunch with family.

It was a lesson for me, not to judge by the cover. Never seen such a pathetic A2B. Took my friend from Bangalore to this A2B and really felt humiliated by the ambience, which looked like a dlipidated or uncared of premises. At least if the food was good, we would have been OK. Sambar rice was cold! Can you believe this? Veg Biriyani was cold too! Parotta was pathetic. Nobody was able to eat even half Parotta. It was rubbery and fills up quickly as if having a lot of baking soda. And that was just warm enough to say that they managed to pre-heat before serving. Saving grace was curd rice. Even now repenting why I took my friend to this restaurant. If A2B doesn't care to run this, then please close this unit.

No 50% occupancy ordered by the government. Whole restaurant is crowded. Few are coming without masks and wearing them while entering inside the restaurant. No security is checking temperature and to sanitize the hands of the visitors. Hard to believe why the rules are not followed though it is in the main road.

QUALITY of their foods are very worst in this location dont try chole bhature its worst and its like eating rubber and bhature is rasam,

Well maintained. Clean and Hygienic. Sweets of high quality and good standard. Cashew sweets and panneer Kamins are my favorite here. The staff can be a little more polite and courteous. Especially the ones behind the counter for sweets and savories.

The place is nice, not too big, neither is it too cramped up. There are a lot of staff but it took a lot of time for one of them to place the order for what we wanted. Food is obviously good but service can be better.

Great variety of foods, sweets, snacks, fruits and vegetables. Taste is good. Service is good. Ambience is good. Being a popular and we'll established restaurant chain, prices are a bit in the higher side.

This place was placed suitably near the main road. One we reach there, they have a valet to park our car. They have their sweets and savories and fruits on the ground floor and the dining in the 1st. The list was not functional when i visited. Once taken the seat the waiter came for the order in which I ordered North indian thali and my family ordered a normal thali and a special thali. They informed before hand that North indian thali might take 10 min and it did come in 10 min. The north indian thali came with 1 pulao, 1 tomato rice, 2 chappati, dal, panneer butter masala, 3 gulab jamoon, aloo mattar, tomato soup, gobi fry and a pappad. It tasted delicious except for the pappad which was a little soggy. The regular meals was also good and of good quantity. The spl meals had an extra dal powder and ghee, kesari, 1 chappati and tomato soup. They even came in and refilled sambar and the other sides when needed.

Ambience and interiors were great in this facility.
Ordered poori and idli for breakfast.
Good part was the restaurant was not crowded for early breakfast.
Server who helped us is well mannered and was concerned to provide all the accompaniment, chutney.
Serving space is little cramped, yet well controlled to prevent crowd and clashes

It's part of the popular chain, that serves variety of tasty sweets, snacks and foods for the veggies. This outlet is well maintained and has reason parking space.

Not the usual A2B experience. Too clumpsy and service was mediocre. Only the bill was provided within seconds.food that was ready on the counter took quite a long time to reach from the counter to my table.

Lunch was excellent and very tasty. We ordered for South Indian and North Indian thali. Value for money, good ambience, neat and clean and well maintained. Very courteous service staff. They have sweets and souveries section. Very good experience. I recommend Adyar Anand Bhavan.

Poor staff quality. I asked poori and chana. They gave me pani puri. And i dint ask ghee roast. They baought me ghee roast. Poor means of communication. I dont know why people go there. May be because of the look. Iam least satisfied

I give one star rating because of the rude behaviour of the staff, they are not professional with their worst service. When I approached the supervisor Murugan with a complaint I understood the supervisor is worse than the staff. I swear I will not go again. They have to pay for this unwelcoming behaviour.

The worst service. The staff behave like doing charity towards customers. Not even the Manager has the basis etiquette and training to deal the customers. I interacted with Supervisor Murugan. Hopeless. I don't recommend this place. Just running because of brand name, not quality of products and service.

As usual, Food was good. But they made us to wait for so long. Apart from that everything was good. Sweets are especially extraordinary. Hope, i will visit for sweets often.
