First time i visit cognizant today for my assest collection. Such a good looking environment and all the employees and workers are friendly approachable.feeling happy

This Place Important For Employees Only. Visitors Not Important. No visitors Waiting Room. Very Poor Treatment for all visitors. All visitors Waiting Many Hours in open outside Area. No chairs.

Got selected on the interview on nov 2019 but still there no show from their side to provide the offer even after millions of requests, just WORST hr team and interview process ever

Very good company to work. Shollinganallur office is excellent in all. They have 3 Development Center and a dedicated building for parking in this location. There is an atrium in the middle in which people usually gather during breaks. This campus had a doctor and dorm facility. Also this has gym, TT facilities too. Overall a great place.

Limited transportation facity like shuttles, auto rickshaws available to reach from main road which is 2km away. Very much crowded inside with lot of people hanging around. Lot of footpaths are blocked due to lack of proper construction.

One of the best branch of Cognizant. It will be similar to college life when you get location in CKC. Good infrastructure compared to other branches. Simply we can say young campus. Expecting more food courts, as there are less number of food courts. One negative we can say is mobile signal. If you are jio user then you will struggle a lot for signal. Vodafone airtel users will get signal in most of the places. Best place to work with full freedom. You will get another college life, but only if you get a good team.

Excellent infrastructure. My LO works here But the CEO can think twice before employee layoffs.

Cognizant began as Dun & Bradstreet Satyam Software (DBSS), established as Dun & Bradstreet's in-house technology unit focused on implementing large-scale IT projects for Dun & Bradstreet businesses. In 1996, the company started pursuing customers beyond Dun & Bradstreet.

In 1996, Dun & Bradstreet spun off several of its subsidiaries including Erisco, IMS International,  Nielsen Media Research,  Pilot Software, Strategic Technologies and DBSS, to form a new company called Cognizant Corporation. Three months later, in 1997, DBSS renamed itself to Cognizant Technology Solutions. In July 1997, Dun & Bradstreet bought Satyam's 24% stake in DBSS for $3.4 million.  Headquarters were moved to the United States, and in March 1998,  Kumar Mahadeva was named CEO. Operating as a division of the Cognizant Corporation, the company focused on Y2K-related projects and web development.

In 1998, the parent company, Cognizant Corporation, split into two companies:  IMS Health and Nielsen Media Research. After this restructuring, Cognizant Technology Solutions became a public subsidiary of IMS Health. In June 1998, IMS Health partially spun off the company, conducting an initial public offering of the Cognizant stock. The company raised $34 million, less than what the IMS Health underwriters had hoped. They earmarked the money for debt payments and upgrading company offices.

So much of disappointment from the company COGNIZANT. Are you playing with future of students who have come out from their college?
I think the answer is pretty YES. The students are in bulk who are waiting for the joining. Its been more than 6 months for them waiting for joining. In this time period can they imagine the level of Practice? Level of Pressure?
Students lose their interest in their work, think only of joining when to come. That should be in a amount of time that suits the students.

If the students don't perform well, then can they afford them to keep working. I am quite sure that they won't but forgetting the fact that they are sitting idle for such a long time without any guidance.
Atleast think of their future.
Hired in the early month of year and not getting joining in the near last months is such a problem and pressure for them.

Moreover So much of problems in one's personal life, how to deal with them, sort out them

The BGV process should not be so delayed one. For example- If the house address is not written in correct form, then the proper format should be mention, there to avoid delay.
Why to have those processess that delays.

Good atmosphere and safe parking facilities. Separate place for smoking, the gate is opposite to Ford and the parking structure here is bit confusing and at peak times, the road is filled with traffic. Lake is in between HCL and Cognizant.

Far away from the city ️, Dead end corner of the Elcot sez as well. In evenings it take more than 30 mins just to come out of sez in bike

I don't work here so as a spectator point of view, construction of buildings amuse me. Very well laid parking facilities, two floor cafeteria marks itself for good munches and so called "IT-party".

Biggest office in IT park. Best place to software engineers. Structural of this office is amazing.

Good and a pretty big office and great infrastructure of the office space, too much greenery and great office facility, just little in outskirts of the chennai city, also the cafeteria is pretty awefull, as just give normal local foods that also lot worse then any street vendor expect to have improvement in food quality and food provided in the hectic 9 hrs overwhelming shifts of work.

I've been worked a year in this campus. It was really nice, but getting a seat in lunch time is really tough 2 full floors for dining area. Top good food shops including Subway are there. Every floor has its own cafeteria with two coffee machines. Gym is available. No playground is only my concern. Other than that one of the best campus.

The best place. The best environment. The ambience is good. Security systems are good. Food in the cafeteria is good. In break out areas you can get coffee or tea as per your choice. Full secured environment.
