Doveton Cafe

It has almost been 10 years since I last had breakfast at this place. The taste of the sambar seems to have dropped other than that the service is pretty good and old-school, the waiters won't listen for more than 20 sec. The coffee taste also dropped significantly. Hope they improve the sambar taste.

Seriously I loved the food alot and the service was amazing I loved the service a lot.if there would be an option of 10 stars i would have given 10 stars

Worst Hotel, it is not only taste matters. There should be some good heart in serving. Worst service, Worst management. Only attitude been shown to customer.

Taste normal and quality good but quantity not much. Price also high in most of the food. We can have snacks there but food not worth it.

Worst service and not treating the customer properly manager also too rude refused to serve spl meals

Food is awesome and so is the service. Especially the AC section is clean and well maintained. It is small but is usually not crowded

One of the best places I have had proper south Indian food, they have been around for decades and still attract a huge patronage loyal for the taste and quality. I am a fan of their sambar, chutney and meals.

Party hall is maintained very well. Staffs were highly supportive and polite - whether it is security or the dining hall supervisor everyone attends the visitors with good respect.

Well Planned resturant, very good ambience and they are so keen in saving water.their tap were tuned to release droplets of water.and it is near SAravanas Stores.good Parking Facility!

Out look was big space but inside very small no site to eat place and all so i order with one dish waiting for more then 30 min very bad service. But food was tasty

One of the old and famous vegetarian restaurants at purasawakkam. Good place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Taste and quality not changed over a long time.

Doveton Cafe @ Purasaiwalkam is very good for family dining. Vegetarians only. Good food and many varieties available even after 10 PM. Since I'm a night rider, I'm happy that a pure veg restaurant is still there for me.

Quality of food is excellent and price is also reasonable. Very cooperative parking employees. Since i find difficult in may places where parking securities that much helpfull

Afternoon meals r good its very old restaurant maintaing frm british days somepeople said prime minister indira Gandhi use to cm here in those days

You can get maximum number of side dishes for lunch. Tasty food with affordable price. Only problem is you place was congested and need to wait for Some time in busy hours.

They was following the rules but don't know the public reviews all workers working for the cctv camera but it's job not for customers satisfaction they was spoil the name I hate that hotel

It's nice place to go for lunch and meals. Just because place is too crowded they don't treat anyone special. They all have long face to serve the food and you feel like let's finish and move on. Food tastes good here and hygiene.

The place was great when it started out, but has slowly deteriorated. The place is not well maintained, there aren't any proper restrooms, the food has become somewhat mediocre. Not a great place to have a peaceful meal, if that's what you're looking for.

Good food, but crowded most of the times. Need to wait for seats for about 15-25 min specially in the evening. Parking is full most the times in the evening

It's ok to have a good and decent family function with a members for 50-60can be seated at a time. It has two hall also. Other than that there is also a restaurant with those and the food is good also at a decent price and it the oldest hotel and a famous hotel in and around purasaivakkam

AC service is limited to a few seats. Food tastes good. Regular to this place since long time, no other decent option serving similar food nearby. Service seen deteriorating over time can improve. Like tables are not getting cleaned quickly, many plates seen lying on the table. Small parking but security somehow manages. Finding a place to park during peak hours very difficult. They have a small hall, if there's a party there then things become much worse. Toilets few but clean. Overall Ok will improve rating if seen better.

Very worst management no proper service. They serve as if they are giving free. I suggest not to go. Third class quality of food. Un hygienic poor quality of food. Government should cancelle their licence. Very very very very worst management. Owner only money minded.

One of the traditional hotel and hall for function, foods items are below average. Employees are rude, they are thinking that they are the only having hotel.services are poor.

Regular and loyal customer to this place where the services are very good especially (shakti anna service) and the atmosphere is good and foods are tasty. Food price everything is fine. 1star i reduced because if the place is full and crowded, they ask you to share your table to other customers.

Liked the place. Very old building and very limited parking facility. But the staff are considerate and decent. Nice taste. Loved the fresh juices as well. Must visit if you are in Puraswalkam Chennai.

Located in pqursawalkam near saravana stores. Well known for their quality and tasty vegetarian food. Price is nominal. There is usually a wait time. Both AC and Non AC seating available. Parking available.
