This is available from 7am- 11am.
So those who are going early as well taking breakfast late can enjoy this. Good taste.

A nice atmosphere, but, Nobody is attending customers (From Water boy till cashier) immediately.we have to wait atleast for half an hour. I've waited for 20 minutes to give order and more than 40 minutes to get my meal.but, a normal food at extra price.overall, very worst experience.when enquired with the staff, she informed me that the management is changing.so, it will clear by one week. My humble suggestion.please search some other hotel.

Car parking person misbehaved.spoke in bad words.for what idiotic reason they keep complaint mobile numbers inside hotel.when asked incharge they tell it won't work.then y u keep them.no manager or incharge for this big hotel.idiots.

Very good family restaurant. Ambience and atmosphere is too good. Food quality and quantity is perfect according to the food price. Masal parotta and falooda are recommended.

The food quality is deteriorating over time. Once a great place to get vegetarian food, now not up to the mark.

Never do the mistake of taking parcel from this place, the normal average waiting time is 1 hour 30 mins for any time. One of worst management for takeaway / delivery.

Great food selection Friendly service. I had their Chettinad Special and Vendhiya Dosai and Faloodas. Excellent taste. Definitely a repeat visit is on the cards.

Don’t ever take parcel / takeaway from here, the minimum waiting time is 1 hours for even a single item, (and if you order online via Swiggy Zomato then the delivery time will increase by more than 40 mins,) that’s how much great the service they provide. I had to wait for one meals parcel for 1 hour 20 mins.

I had limited meals at sangeetha desi mane yesterday afternoon service was very very very pathetic poor fellow one service guy for 3 tables was doing his best to take of his burden i called some other waiter named murugesan asked hinm for kottu N poriyal he saw me and den he dint even turn back for what i asked when i went and complained manager abt the service the por fellow whom i wanted to out some burden on him started shouting at him i was purely other waiter murugesan mistake and specially Manager Mr jayaraj he got angry one me and started telling me if you dont pay bill no problem and you plesee leave i gave him money i wanted service to be better after everything finished manager gave a stare at me and left this is how sangeetha is been ruined now my table number was 46 and my bill no 745

Nice place we were there around closing time, and got onion rava dosa only, but it was really awesome.
The coffee was remarkable one at the final touch

Excellent taste at very heaped rate, just for 50 bucks we can have excellent breakfast combo. Service is good

For a parcel, we have to wait atleast 20 mins.looks like there is no proper co-ordination. Every time you ask, the guy keeps saying it's getting ready.

Very nice place, pure vegetarian, offers warm water to drink, lots of combos and verity available.

2019- First visit was good, food was good and a nice family atmosphere.
2021- Recently went on a weekend and food was horrible. Soup was just hot water and sambar vada was bad. Maybe it’s because of a weekend. Food quality needs to be improved or crowd managed so that there is no compromise on quality on weekends. Suggest visit on weekdays.

Lunch at Sangeetha Desi Mane after a two months break. Spectacular improvement in standards. Their South Indian limited lunch was spot on in every aspect. The rice was hot and the side dishes were perfect in tasty preparation. The service has always been good as I had befriended many of their staff members over the many years I have been their customer. Even the cleaning ladies come one by one and greet me and enquire after my well being. Nice.

Then walked in a couple of customers. Young, brash, full of self confidence and with a total lack of civic sense and not an iota of finesse. One of them shrugged off his sandals and proceeded to sit crossed leg on the cushion of his chair. His feet still dirty from the rain and slush. Restaurant owners should put a board in all restaurants that customers are not allowed to sit cross legged on a chair where others would come to sit long after cross legged customers are gone.

Then he proceeded to pester the waiter to switch off the air conditioner because he was feeling cold. I waited to see what the waiter would do. After this man's relentless pestering the waiter, to my shock, switched off the air conditioner in a restaurant that was packed full during lunch time. As I began to sweat in my forehead to a level that I had to wipe my sweat with tissues, I walked off mid way through lunch. I think waiters should be trained to handle such nincompoop customers.

Option1: The waiter could have told that he cannot do anything unless the management asks him to do so.
Option2: Those customers could have been seated elsewhere.
Option3, The temperature could have been lowered and the airflow could have been reset to swing.

The problem in Tamilnadu is that while the economic gap is bridging at a healthy rate, the gap in personal habits and cultural sophistication is as wide as ever. May be I should wear a lungi during my next visit, spit my pan on their stair well and sit cross legged on their dining chair and bridge the cultural gap on reverse gear. Oh the swan song has to be sung for the slum dog millionaires,

Plates were not cleaned properly.some black colour thing was found in the serving plate I called the serving man and told them to replace the plate he took the tissue paper from next Table took our plate to took a around in the dining place and wiped the plate and kept the same plate to me. I was super irritated my. Husband only consoled me to keep quiet. Food wise that day we had masala dosai, parotta and Schezwan fried rice. Dosai and parota tastes wise good but fried rice was salty. Tried elaiadai It was not up to the standard.
Food taste good but they should take real good care in cleaning of plates before serving to the customer. We pay for everything and we have worth of treating as proper customer.

God.don't ever make the mistake if going for a take away here.so disorganized.waited for a full 2 hours to get one tamilnadu meals.small quantity served. Average taste and crowded and two harassed souls in the counter.we need to fight along with the zomato and ziggy delivery guys.pity them more.tand their customers.sad place.dontvever go there

In general, every thing are fine. One thing which really disappointing is that one item of dish 'Chappathi with side dishes ' is not available in Swiggy App for more than a week and I am therefore unable to order it. This has been repeatedly brought to the attention Hotel number of times, with no result. Consequently, I am forced to order the said item in nearby hotel. Pl.take remedial action.

One of Good Vegetarian hotel in Chennai city. Located at near by ashok pillar. Food quality is good and bit expensive. More parking space for 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers as well.

Our swiggy experience was bad. The food that was ordered tasted like sand/gravel was mixed in it. We had to trash the entire order. Such a colossal waste of money, food and time!

The taste was average and we waited almost 45 minutes to get our parcel to go which was just an order of mushroom dosa and idli. On top of that they didn't even provide the chutney and sambar for it. When called and asked about it they told to come once again to ashok nagar and get it. After giving them an earful they told they'll deliver it in 15 minutes but after that no response from the hotel and the call was not attended too. Very poor customer support. They charge 140-150 rs for a dosa but they won't take any responsibility to check everything before giving them away to customer. We waited for 20 mins and then had to cook and ate the cold food for dinner. Never again going there.

Tasty food. But bit costly. But it's worth compare to other hotel's. Because side dish quality is excellent. Side dish like chutney and sambar's taste, quality and quantity is excellent.

Had a worst experience today evening with dine in for more than 10 people along with kids.
Occupied the table by 7.50pm, ordered for basic varieties as like idly, dosa and chapati varieties only.

Till, 9pm.they have not served a single item except idly.

However, all the other table has been served and ours has not been taken care.

Even the floor manager and the order boy doesn't respond or respect us.
While asking by 9.10pm, the order boy is speaking abusive words about ladies.
Even the manager is very worst, complained to the cashier and asked for the owner details to give feedback. They have not responded properly.

Please avoid this restaurant to a maximum extent possible.

One in Ashok Nagar is what I have been to. Taste is fairly decent. Main highlight is Breakfast combo for ₹50. In it, we get to have 1 idli, pongal, kesari, masala dosa & mini coffee. Quite economical and absolutely sufficient.

Nice vegetarian eatery place at a good location.

Wide variety of Indian cuisines.
Taste and hygiene is quite good.
Can accommodate large crowds.

Decently priced in comparison to similar restaurants.

Cons:
Can become very easily crowded having to wait to be seated during peak hours/festival time
Delivery food items are not as good as dining in (taste, quantity)

Plenty of options available to eat and they had everything whatever we asked for. Also all the food items were tasty and good.

Except idiyappam.everything were great.mainly their Morning breakfast combo.worth the money and a must try.

I can give nothing but 5 stars for this amazing restaurant. If there were options to give more ratings I would. Everything about this place was so good. I had a mini tiffin which was only Rs 50. For the same dish I pay Rs 130 every Sunday after church at the Medavakkam branch. Not sure why they have so much of a price difference between these two (same) restaurants. This place served good food and the service was also way too good. Coffee was also nice which comes along with the mini tiffin. Even the plates and coffee cups were way better than almost all Sangeetha restaurants I have ever visited. I am sure there should be some way the Sangeetha at Medavakkam (and other branches) to be able to provide the same pricing for the combos that they sell. Hats off to Desi Mane.

Best Quality foods always
Recently they have stopped supplying chapati, variety rice which they provided frm the beginning, indirectly increased price, instead of increasing the price, they reduced the items at the same price.

The food was OK but I think the price seemed to be bit at the higher end so as the waiting time to get a table. No reservations.

Their speciality is the breakfast combo - ₹50 (as of Jan '21) for vada, one scoop of pongal, one mini masala dosa, one idli and one scoop of Kesari along with 2 chutneys and one sambar. Top it off with a small tumbler of coffee- perfect breakfast. Ample parking and moderately clean premises means you can dine here comfortably.
Downside - it's pandemic season and there are no social distancing regulations. Those who are vulnerable should avoid it completely.

Just getting back from here. Pretty quiet place as there was less crowd. My lil one had ghee dosa which is his favorite and he loved it. The veg biryani, parathas and meals we got for the rest of us was filling enough, though the pricing could be looked into. The entry to the AC dining hall had a sanitizer dispenser and all the staff were with their the masks on. Everyone dining here is sure to feel safe. Overall a pleasant experience with happy tummies.

ZERO SOCIAL DISTANCING. COVID IS NOT GONE YET. This place is flocking with people. It is the hotel's RESPONSIBILITY to maintain limited crowd with social distancing for each table and they do not seem to care. This area in particular has had too many cases. It's just pathetic to see people not seem to care either.

One of delicious & VFM restaurant i've seen in Chennai.
Tiffen category- especially Chola Poori sounds great.
Tandoori items- I've not tried
Lunch- South Indian meals taste gud.
Mainly Desi Mane' famous for its FALOODA & its varieties in it. I like Dry Fruit Falooda & Spl Desi Mane falooda.
At the cash counter, you'll find BEEDA tastes great.

I used to come here occasionally & would definitely recommend everyone.

Nice joint for a semi-luxury type ambience and food. Taipei paneer and Mushroom fry are must haves. Waiters are nice and friendly. Parking maybe a challenge on crowded days

The food and the service isn't so great! Currently we look into the hygiene side of a restaurant more than any other aspect and that is terrible at Sangeetha Desi Mane! This would be my last choice when it comes to outside dining.

Very good quality food and relatively cheaper pricing.car parking is available but at peak hours it's a lot of constrain to get place.

Recent visits to this place makes us to think for an alternate. People can visit in person than order through online.

Special dosa was good.but sweets are been sold even after 3 or 4days it seems. Not good. I complained

Had Bombay thali. Enjoyed it. Kulcha, paneer, gobi manchurian, fried rice, 2 dals, gulabjamun, salad, curd rice and gulab jamun. Soup was served before the same.

Worst parcel sections once you have ordered and tried to cancel within a minute (before food preparation) they talking up. We told one item and before paying itself we said to Chang the item but they are forcefully sayings can t Chang once bill is printed. Have never seen any where this kind of rule.

Great food. Feel like having home food and affordable too. Always busy and you have to wait for at least 5-10 mins.

Hello sir 2nd Oct -19 at 1: 30 we came to Sangeetha Desi mane hotel which is in Ashok nagar and we are a regular Coustmer to this shop. We ordered 2 plates of Mumbai thali and 1 roast and 1 veg roll. But the food has arrived late. And the Dosa roast were not crispy and it was not hot too and it was very salty. And then we ordered sambar vada also the sambar was not in proper taste it was worst and the sambar was sweet. And we cannot visit another time also. I will put this in the social media also. So please see through that you are checking wether the food is cooked properly or not. And our bill payment is ₹1010. The dosa and sambar Vada is not worth for the money. So check your foods properly

I had bought Tamil Nadu meals parcel today @210rs. Everything is good, but rice level is too low, which is not even equal to limited meals. Disappointed

Ambience is good, food is great, customer service could be better. Nice experience here. It's surely one of the good food restaurants in the area.

Need to work on the serving timings. Understandable that it was crowded, however they should've kept us informed of there was a delay. I had to ask them multiple times before I got my order. This was my first not so great experience with Sangeetha. Never had any issues before.

Car parking will accommodate roughly 10 cars, as far as I observed. Vegetarian hotel located in reasonably busy Ashoknagar. Tiffins though little bit costly, are good. Well maintained and good service.

Good ambience. Taste is not up to the expectations. The table next to mine was the table where the cleaner used to deposit the eaten food plates etc which was splashing around in us, it's very bad experience.

Good vegetarian restaurant though a little pinch on your purse but worth for the tasty food and uncompromising good hospitality.
