Ordered kadai paneer - Got panneer butter masala filled with full oil and red food colours. My fingers became reddish in color after eating. Worst food and services. Not hygienic.

We booked the Raghava hall in this restaurant for an occasion. The food was not served properly and they missed to serve the dishes which we ordered. It was not in proper taste as well.
Service is very poor.

When enquired to the incharge person, the staff didn't respond politely. Worst experience!

Fraudluent hotel. Ordered via swiggy. Received spoiled food. Pulao was just a white rice with few chilli powder. Will never buy from here again. Food kettupochu! Kettupona sappadu podra hotel, fraunluent hotel who serves food to customers with spoiled food via swiggy. You arent worth to run a hotel.

WOULDNT HAVE MINDED IF THE PULAO IS ONLY CHILLI POWDER. THE RICE SMELLED BAD SEEMS RICE HAS BEEN MADE IN MORNING AND THEY HAVE USED IT AND IN ORDER NOT TO KNOW THE SMELL THEY HAVE SPRINKLED CHILLI POWDER.

Food was fine.
Service was a little poor. We waited for a long time to order.
When we ordered coffee they said it was not available. Then coffee was served to another table then we ordered coffee with another waiter, then we got it.

I went this hotel 2 years before.really fantastic.but i have visited this hotel yesterday really pathetic in terms of FOOD Quality, Service & Ambones. I was wondering what happen with in 2 years. I have ordered in swiggy today that veg meals included chappathi and veg rice. Really awesome taste. Worth for paying money.i finished lunch by eating sweet and finally beda

Kulcha was ok. But gobi manchurian wasn't that good as it tasted only tomato curry that's it. No spices or flavours were there.

Ordered panner pepper fry and mushroom cream soup and schezwan veg noodles. All are good moderate rate. Parking available. Service good

Pretty decent restaurant with multi cuisine options.
Food taste is kinda pale but enough to fill you up.
Services are good and efficient at times they do lack but no big deal.

Lost the integrity and taste.not like olden days.we are eating from the begin of the restaurant.we have celebrated three important functions.they are best in the taste and cleanliness.but they have lost everything.need to have the old ppl inorder to make it happen again.

By the time we went there for dinner, they were already running out of the side dishes like Chutney and Sambar. We were provided with whatever was available.

We've ordered for a masala dosa, onion dosa and Chapati. All of them were good except the side dish part.

Service was absolutely great as the food was provided with no delay and it was warm enough to consume.

Cost of the food is the top notch, it was pocket friendly and no way to complaint based on the quality, quantity and taste.

3-star rating was provided only because of the ambience, they're not maintaining it well which must be considered to improve their business.

We had meals at noon. It was very average. Felt overpriced for the quality. It used to be good earlier.

One my favourite veg restaurants in Chennai.
Its located near by sembakkam stop and opposite to alpha school.

Foods are very good and hygienic neatly served.
Here we can say the foods are very much worthy for the prices provided compare to other veg restaurants.

All the suppliers are kind and fast.
This restaurant have other facility like small party hall and supermarket near by.

They providing ice creams and fresh juices tea and coffee also.
Shop will be rush during the weekends.

Best place to visit with the family for good food with correct price.

Staffs purposely delay the orders
Staffs here behave as if we are eating I'm their home for free
Staffs working here are very rude and arrogant and they think it's their hotel & billing person very innocent and owner also very innocent they don't have time to see everything

Most of the time they stand near A/c and block all the air coming to customers even if you tell that you are blocking A/c air they tell that it is their hotel very arrogant behavior
Mainly before you finish the meal and order juice or anything they bring the bill to desk and I don't know why

Recently after second wave of corona, the staffs were changed and were rude to the customers, old taste of food has vanished, menu rates not updated, creating billing discrepancies. In short J. R Jana has lost its faith in customers. They just getting old customers in hope of having a nice meal, but in vain.

Neat hotel. Some dishes are bit oily. Make sure to inform the waiter to use less oil if you are going to order like Kal dosa, Rava dosa etc. It is a decent vegetarian hotel. I would recommend asking for hot water which is good when you consume food with some oil.

This is the hotel with full of houseflys. Everywhere, if u wish u hv more disease pls go and have food dre. We never know wat was mixed in the food. If ur a nonveg lover and wish u explore houseflys fry. Pls go and enjoy. I wish I could upload the video but couldn't here. Nobody cares when we tell them. No action taken for anything.

Order food in swiggy. Very worst food and packaging.we received mix veg rice was not cooked well then panner Veechu paratha look like thick normal paratha not cooked properly. Please don't order food.

Food quality was so bad. Also if we complain response is we will take care of it next time. They don't want to talk about the current situation and not cared of the customer

Good place for vegetarians, they only have veg and on time delivery, staff is good n polite, nice service

Veg food at this restaurant is very good. The one thing we look for these days is hygiene and one can find it here. Good varieties in veg dishes. Varieties for breakfast, lunch and dinner is served here. I've dined in as well as some take aways. Never regretted even once. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a veg restaurant in this area.

Due to lockdown, Only takeaway. Time taken for order and delivery is too long. Any way food preparation is superb. Quality and quantity is good.

The best vegetarian hotel near Sembakkam/Rajakilpakkam. The quality of food & taste are really good. The staff are very friendly. Very crowded during the weekends. Highly recommended.

Good place.great food.nice price.takes a little time to deliver food but still they serve it perfectly fine.

Meals was not good in taste. Post Covid, hotel’s standard has come down drastically.

JR Jana Restaurant is one among best leading restaurants in tambaram. The taste of all dishes are really yummy delicious and mouthwatering.
There's also buffet here and ac built. And also big party halls.
The Food taste is really superb and worth every penny.
The rate is also normal and it's one of the best Restaurant in sembakkam you can visit with your family and friends.

I have ordered food through swiggy of chilly paneer and special thali, and parotta.
1.paneer chilly: - paneer is looking as hard ball and taste is like it's cooked before 3 to 4 days and heat and served to us.
2. Parotta: - last night cooked and remaining selling through swiggy.
3. Special thali: - only name is special nothing is there.

Either spending this much money on so called veg restaurant please visit some other hotel or restaurant. I have raised complain to swiggy they simply typed sorry sir.

DON'T WASTE YOUR VALUABLE MONEY FOR TASTELESS AND UNHYGIENIC FOOD

I am a regular customer. Now a days the quality of food is worst. There is no response for the complaint.

I gave 5 star rating 2 yrs back and now I would like to reverse it.
Two major problem with this restaurant now.
First - Don't come directly to buy the food Cos you need to wait for very long time instead book the food through swiggy. Raised this issue with management team twice to put separate counter and they said they are working on it but still nothing has done.
Second - The lady (Preeti) who allots the seats has major attitude issue and very rude. She acts like boss and give instructions to customers.
If you have problem with local language means Pls talk to customers with smile.
Management Pls note customers are the king, they can take you to up and down too.
Hope Management take necessary steps on these issues.

Two Party Halls available. One can accommodate 150 ppl and another 250 ppl. I took 250 ppl Hall and the service delivery was very good. Food arrangements can be altered to suit one's requirements. Decent one available in this area.

Great hotel for breakfast. I like a few items like chapati, parotta, pongal, onion dosa.they have reduced the vada size n increased the price.even pongal quantity is lesser.otherwise the taste n quality are ok

When looking the service it make slightly sense to me but when we look into the food its worst than ever.

Food is good but if you directly go and order for parcel, waiting time will be more. Instead you can order through swiggy bcos they will give preference only to swiggy. After a long wait, they will say one of your item is not available.

No other choice than JR. Jana for our family on veg options been a regular customer. Waiting time for dine-in Nd take away is the only flaw. Can maintain seperate counter for swiggy ppls.rest all gud

I'm customer of jana for past 3yrs. Food is good but either we should dine in or get through SWIGGY, if u go in direct to get parcel u will lose ur respect. Importance is given more to SWIGGY Orders, when askd hw long should I wait, at least reply could have been polite, but workers are ready to do Street fight with us. Management is not bothered to organise things. Respect is more important than food. Management should consider this, at least separate token system for us and swiggy so that we will know how long we should wait. Staff can't be harsh on customers. Management should tel them.

No idly at 9'o clock in the sunday morning. After 11 no breakfast is served. Billing section filled with Swiggy delivery guys. Lack of another good and affordable restaurants is clearly visible. Jr Jana restaurant has to make some ammendments in their management to meet the orders and serve the people all the time.

Not too much parking space.that's the only issue.otherwise this place is the best middle class restaurant. Ac and non AC is available.pricing is on point. Serivece seems to a bit dull because there are so many PPL comming in every minute. In fact this is my first choice while dining out.

Tasty food at affordable prices. Party orders taken at moderate costs. Excellent quality. The party halls are not so neat. Had to cut one star for that.
